About Mr David Floyd
David Floyd has been a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at The Royal Free and University College Hospitals in London for 15 years, working in the NHS. He now works independantly seeing patienst in his clinics at 84 Harley Street and the Wellington Hospital, Platinum Medical Center.
Mr Floyd's specialist interests include cosmetic surgery of the breast and abdomen, breast reconstruction after treatment for cancer and abdominal wall reconstruction.
He is a full member of the British Association of aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS), British Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS), and the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH).
Born and educated in London, David graduated from Cambridge University and returned to London to complete his medical training at UCL. After 4 years of General Surgery training and 6 months teaching Anatomy at UCL, he became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS). Having decided to become a Plastic Surgeon he began with a year of research and was awarded an MSc for his work into scarring and wound healing. He then completed 8 years of Plastic Surgery training, working in many of the world class Plastic Surgery Units in London. His training culminated in the award of full accreditation in Plastic Surgery by the Royal College of Surgeons, FRCS(plast).

I had my breast implants and capsule removed!!! The best thing I ever did. I had bold patches that have no grown back on my hair. I feel and look physically sooo much better!!! So greatful and happy with the results.
I felt comfortable, reassured and very well informed. It was clear from the outset that any question was a good question and the focus was on listening to me. However small or silly I might feel my questions were, the answers were always responded to with empathy and understanding. Nothing felt remotely transactional just very individual and personal.
My visits are always very informative and I felt very comfortable asking any questions about anything I was unsure of or needed time to think about. Mr Floyd is friendly, patient and very approachable.
From start to finish my experience has been amazing and seamless. I'm so pleased with my results. The healing process was easy and I had clear instructions of what to do the whole time. I would recommend to everyone to see Mr Floyd. He is so patient and kind and so are his team.
I’m currently around two weeks post op and cannot express how much I’m already loving the results of my implant removal with capsulectomy. I didn’t expect it to look this good so early on. Mr. Floyd has been wonderful at explaining everything and making me feel safe and comfortable.
I had an excellent experience with Mr Floyd. He is professional, reassuring and answered the questions I had. After a pre op appt I also had a phone call prior to surgery to answer further questions. I then saw him before and after my surgery. I felt safe and that I was listened to and respected.
From start to finish, David has been nothing but professional, transparent, realistic and accurate in terms of the recommended surgery for me. So much so, I have had 2 operations undertaken by him, with results that have exceeded my expectations.
