About Dr Sunil Nair
Dr Nair is a consultant Endocrinologist in Chester. He is Physician with a broad experience in all aspects of Diabetes, endocrinology and weight management. He is the clinical service lead for the department of diabetes & endocrinology at the Countess of Chester Hospital. He has a private practice at the Chester Nuffield Hospital.
He completed his specialist training in Diabetes and Endocrinology at Mersey Deanery and also achieved a PhD in Endocrinology at the University of Liverpool. He worked as a clinical lecturer at Aintree University Hospital before being appointed consultant in Chester in 2012.
Dr. Nair's passion is working with patients towards remission of type2 diabetes and obesity by dietary and lifestyle measures, supported by therapeutic interventions. He has significant experience in weight management and dealing with complex hormone related issues. His expertise includes Endocrine problems such as disorders of the thyroid, pituitary, adrenals, PCOS male sexual dysfunction, and Diabetes.
He keeps up-to-date with all aspects of Endocrinology and Diabetes. He has considerable experience in managing patients with complex symptomatology such as tiredness and excessive sweating.

I found Mr Nair to be very personable and attentive. He took copious written notes as I explained my problem and concerns. He suggested an adjustment to my medication regimen, which will help with troublesome side-effects, writing to my GP accordingly. This is a particular source of relief to me. He has also made an NHS referral for me, for a separate, concerning issue. I am extremely glad that I made the decision to see Mr Nair privately, rather than wait for an NHS appointment. If I should need any further advice or support, I won't hesitate to make a further appointment to see him. This was a very positive and supportive experience, Thank you Mr Nair.
