Patients commend The Horder Centre staff as kind and friendly. The centre is known for successful hip and knee replacements. Facilities are clean, food is good, and physiotherapy helps recovery. Overall, the care for bone and joint problems is highly rated.
Only problem I had was the fact that the coverage for EE is appalling in the Horder Tunbridge Wells area so my wife & I had real issues making contact. I had to use the room phone which is excellent that it’s available but it wasn’t as convenient as using our mobile phones. My suggestion is really it might be something you could make people aware of regarding signal difficulties as I am not technical at all so even trying to sort out WIFI without my wife meant I had to ask the nurses to help me. I am 79 & have a mobile phone but it doesn’t mean I can sort things out so I felt bad having to bother the nurses but wanted contacted with my wife so had to ask
Well cared for. Bit of a wait to be seen but not unexpected.
The whole process was excellent. I was particularly impressed that there was no pressure to discard me before I was ready to leave. Just one piece of feedback. I have Alzheimer’s and not all the staff seemed to be aware of that. For example, comments Ned instructions were given to me without my husband present and I could nor recall those later, so he was a bit in the dark s to what was going on.
The experience i had was top class i would recomend the horder centre to enyone and everyone
Excellent care from everyone during my stay. Very happy atmosphere. Will certainly recommend it….despite the pain!!!! Hope to come back for the other knee…..not just yet though please! Aftercare is also very good, caring and helpful. Thank you all.
Care was exemplary from greeting at reception to nursing medical and surgical care
My experience from the pre-assessment to discharge was excellent. This was my third operation at the Horder Centre and I would really not want to go anywhere else! Everyone from the Consultants, nursing staff and caterers are very pleasant and friendly, and make the whole experience less stressful. Also, the atmosphere at the Horder is quiet and calming.
Thank you for your kind feedback and for choosing The Horder Centre again for your care. We're delighted to hear that your experience from pre-assessment to discharge was excellent. It’s wonderful to know our team helped make your stay less stressful and that you found the atmosphere calm and reassuring. Best wishes, The Horder Centre
