Mr Lee David

Mr. Lee David is a Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery with over 13 years of experience at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. He graduated from the Royal London Hospital Medical College in 1994 and completed his Basic Surgical Training before becoming a Clinical Research Fellow at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore in 1999, where he specialised in knee research. He then undertook Specialist Registrar Training on the South East Thames rotation, further advancing his skills with Advanced Training at Stanmore and a Senior Knee Fellowship at Guy’s Hospital.

Since his appointment as a Consultant in 2008, Mr. David has developed specialist interests in hip and knee replacement and revision surgery, knee arthroscopy, and lower limb trauma surgery. He performs high volumes of hip and knee replacements with excellent outcomes. His dedication to research is reflected in his numerous published papers and the prizes he has won nationally and internationally in Joint Reconstruction and Cartilage Transplantation.

Mr. David also contributes significantly to the education and training of future surgeons. He serves as a College Tutor for Surgery, has been the British Orthopaedic Trainees Association Representative on the Specialty Advisory Committee and the Intercollegiate Specialty Board, and is an active member of the Royal Society of Medicine Orthopaedics Section Committee. Currently, he is the Deputy Clinical Director in Trauma & Orthopaedics at Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust, serving as the Enhanced Recovery Lead for Hip and Knee Replacement and Clinical Lead for Hip Fractures.
