I saw Dr Singh regarding secondary infertility. Dr Singh was exceptional; she listened to my history and concerns that I had, and gave clearly explained expert opinions, followed by a clear treatment plan. For the first time in my fertility journey, I felt heard, understood and supported. Dr Singh didn't just listen, she made me feel as though my thoughts and my voice held equal weight to hers. I was valued as both a person and as a patient. One of the reasons I chose Midlands Women's Health was because they were very accepting of my previous test results and didn't request any unnecessary repeating of tests. The cost was also far more reasonable in comparison previous fertility clinics that I've attended. The clinic definitely values patients and their well-being over profits. Whatever the outcome of my fertility journey, I feel at ease knowing I saw a fantastic doctor who not only had the medical expertise, but had the patience to listen fully and explain things in a manner that I understood. The kindness and humility that Dr Singh and Steph (chaperone) showed will stay with me as the most positive health care visit I've ever had. I only wish I had seen Dr Singh sooner in my fertility journey!

I was a little nervous going into the appointment however clinician Ms Pallavi made me feel at ease, asked me lots of questions and was very understanding and thorough. The chaperone again was very welcoming and made feel at ease too. I felt understood compared to my NHS experience, I would definitely recommend the clinic!

Firstly, the receptionists attitude was not the best. I was told I could not bring my partner in with me for support and they had to wait downstairs. This made me feel uncomfortable as I have been experiencing heightened anxiety and have been struggling to remember conversations. Once I met with the consultant, I asked if my partner could join me, which was agreed. I am not sure if this is policy from the receptionist but it made me feel unwelcome. In regards to my appointment, it lasted twenty minutes and I was out of the appointment by 7:20. What I was advised was to wait and visit my GP for a referral, which I could have done in the first place and not wasted £245.00 to be told this. I am sure a referral could have been done by the consultant but I felt like I was being brushed off and passed to someone else to deal with. I have been to private clinics before and this was by far the worst experience. No help offered, told to wait it out, felt like I wasn’t heard and a waste of my time which has impacted my mental health. I have not received a report afterwards either like other private clinics to show my GP for them to see the recommendations of the referral. Overall, a very negative experience.

I came across Midlands Women’s health via Dr Pathak. The clinic has some great staff. I was initially seen by Dr Balagan who is incredible and made me feel at ease from the very beginning of my health journey at the clinic, alongside Nicole who did the same. Based on my first interaction, I knew that I had come to the right place and felt more confident about receiving further treatment at the clinic. I had travelled over an hour to get to the clinic but it was worth it. However, on every single occasion, my appointment was very delayed.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We're so pleased to hear that Dr Balagan, Dr Pathak and Nicole helped you feel at ease from the very beginning of your journey, and that their care and support gave you confidence in your treatment. It also means a great deal to know you felt your journey to the clinic was worthwhile. We do, however, sincerely apologise for the delays you experienced with your appointments. We understand how frustrating this can be, particularly when you have travelled a long distance. We strive to keep to our schedule wherever possible, but occasionally consultations take longer than expected to ensure each patient receives the time and care they need. We truly appreciate your patience and your valuable feedback, which helps us continue to improve our service. Wishing you all the very best, and thank you again for your kind words and honest comments.
