In terms of booking I didn’t have the greatest experience. I filled out the form online the night before and got a call the next morning. It cut off before I could answer the phone. I called straight back but it rang out to answer phone. I must have called back more than 10 times that day over the course of a few hours but no response. I finally got through to someone in the afternoon, by this time all the appointments had gone. I was in desperate need of a blood test which had to be done on a certain day of my cycle, hence the urgency. The lady I got through to firstly wrongly assumed I was another patient (a cancer patient) which I thought was unprofessional, as I shared the same surname as another patient. She apologised for not answering the phone and said that she would ‘put me at the top of the list’ and treat me as ‘priority’ and would call me back to let me know if she can fit me in for a blood test. I waited for the rest of the day and never received a call back. I believe the way bookings are dealt with is highly unprofessional and does not reflect the service you say you aim to provide to your clients. I then decided not to keep chasing this appointment as I had a negative experience with the booking staff and the booking process. Two days later I received a call early in the morning which woke me up. The lady realised I was half asleep and apologised for the ‘early morning call’. She asked if I still wanted to book the blood test. I said I would let her know. After some consideration I decided to go ahead with the blood test even though I had missed the ideal window. I then called back and booked, the lady on the phone was evidently a young girl who may be new and clearly lacked customer service training. She was unable to answer basic questions during the booking process and came across as new and untrained. I was then sent an invoice which had an additional 30 pounds added onto the expected 150 charge. The invoice didn’t state what the 30 pounds was for. I called back just to check, and again the girl was unprofessional and could not clearly explain what the fee was for. I would like to stress that I am generally the most down to earth and open minded/non judgemental person. So when I give feedback it is generally from a good place and when I feel a service falls below expectations or standards. Clients pay a lot of money to MUMS for peace of mind and investigations into health concerns. The website suggests a certain level of care and service. I personally feel the booking process and professionalism of the booking staff is quite poor in terms of false promises, not being able to get through when calling over 10 times and untrained staff. However what I will say is when attending in person my experience was a lot better than I had expected given the above and it went quite smoothly in the clinic itself. Please train the young girl on the front desk as she comes across as unprofessional and disengaged even though I know this is not her intention. There is a certain level of customer service a confidence needed to be able to deal with bookings which can often be of a sensitive nature.

Finally Got Answers! I'm a student in my twenties and had been struggling for ages, suspecting I might have ADHD but not really knowing where to start. They made the whole process so much less intimidating than I'd feared, and I'm genuinely grateful for the clarity and support

Approximately 6 months ago, my sister was diagnosed with oral cancer which had spread to her cervical lymph nodes. Since this time, we have seen Mr Alibhai a number of times both prior and after the extensive surgery he performed on her. Having worked in health care now for nearly 20 years, I have met several consultants from specialties across the board. Mr Alibhai is by far one of the best in a number of ways. His knowledge and expertise is second to none - this came across in his explanation of the diagnosis and meticulous detail and success of the surgery. He has a warm and compassionate manner while being honest about a difficult diagnosis and the reality of this. Each and every time he has seen my sister, he has spent ample time with her and provided her with reassurance and answered all her questions. Mr Alibhai made a massive difference to my sister in all the time he spent with them with the exceptional care and respect he have them. I was keen to recognise the outstanding care my family received by Mr Alibhai .He is clearly an exceptional professional and massive asset to any organisation he works with.

From first consultation, coming as a patient from another consultant, through the colonoscopy and post procedure results follow up, Dr. Humphries was always extremely kind, taking all the time needed to hear my concerns and address all questions I had, and has always put me at ease, explaining things in a clear and calm manner, leaving no stone unturned regards treatment options and making me feel reassured after the procedures done. I have no words to express my gratitude to him, and all his team of assistants, nurses, and his exceptional PA, Kristina Cervenanska, who has been outstanding, on helping me arranging things in such short notice, from day one. I had my fifth planned C-section with Dr. Sotiris Nicholas, and understandably I was quite stressed going into it. From the very beginning, however, he did everything possible to put me at ease and truly made the experience positive and reassuring. He was incredibly attentive and thoughtful—for example, he avoided me having to endure a double needle prick when the lady came to collect the baby’s cord blood. Throughout the procedure, he explained every step clearly, letting me know exactly what he was doing and what to expect, which helped me feel calm and in control. As a lovely bonus, he also took beautiful photos for us in the operating theatre, which we will treasure. I am extremely grateful for his care, professionalism, and kindness, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for such an important moment.
