They also have access to a team of vascular surgeons specialising in vascular disease management. The team has expertise in all aspects of cardiovascular disease care, from outpatient consultation, diagnosis, and screening to complex vascular and cardiology operations.

The referral process is simple and quick and outpatients can see physicians in the 'Regent's Park Suite' with diagnostic tests often performed during the first appointment. Patients requiring cardiac catheter laboratory investigations will also have their pre-admittance checks carried out on the same day to avoid extra visits. Patients who require this procedure will have access to their own private ensuite room with a television, internet, direct telephone lines, quality bed linen, and a menu selection of food and drink. Additionally, each room has cardiac telemetry to ensure 24-hour-a-day remote cardiac monitoring.

My appointment was on time, the staff were very efficient and my consultation with Dr Flynn was very positive. The only draw back of the visit was the parking.

I really appreciated being able to get an appointment so quickly as the anxiety around not knowing if my heart was okay made it feel worse. So it was very reassuring to be able to get a scan followed straight away by a consultant appointment

All went very smoothly and I had hardly any waiting time. That was enhanced by a coffee! I was particularly pleased that the consultant took an interest n the fact that I use complementary as well as allopathic medicine.

Initially when I enquired about appointment several months ago I was given wrong information. I was told that I could only be seen privately via Nuffield or The Spire - I did book an appointment with a cardiologist at The Nuffield but then called in at K2 and Sue Starling was very helpful and promised me an appointment when i needed it. Eventually she was able to give me an appointment with Mr Pugh just when I wanted it. On arrival at the appointment all was good. Receptionist was friendly and welcoming. I didn't have to wait long. Discussion with Mr Pugh was helpful and informative - he told me just what I wanted to hear. Prompt follow up letter.

I arrived early but was quickly ushered for an ECG. Very pleasant and helpful operator. Very quick and professional as well. Back in the waiting area with TV and a tray of tea and biscuits. Receptionist, very polite and stamped my car park ticket. I was the last patient and although I was expecting a long wait, I was waiting only 5-10 mins past my appointment time. A very good experience
