Dr Munmohan Virdee

Dr Munmohan Singh Virdee is a Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist with almost two decades of experience in the treatment of cardiovascular conditions such as cardiac arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, heart failure, syncope and palpitations. Dr Virdee is well versed in performing ablations and implanting cardiac resynchronisation devices such as pacemakers and defibrillators. He currently sees private patients at the Royal Papworth Hospital and Nuffield Cambridge Hospital.

Dr. Virdee earned his primary medical qualification at Guy's & St Thomas' medical school, alongside his bachelor's degree in Radiological Sciences. He then undertook his training in the golden circuit of hospitals in London and was awarded a fellowship with the British Heart Foundation. Upon completion of his training, Dr. Virdee was appointed a consultant at Papworth Hospital in 2006.

Dr Virdee is an avid member of the research community, and has presented his research at national and international conferences and has authored numerous papers in renowned cardiology journals. Dr Virdee is very keen on audit, and is driven to deliver the best care for all of his patients.
