Dr. Rajinder Singh Andev

After years of having a complicated collection of symptoms and feeling as though they were being explained away by my existing diagnoses, this appointment came at a time where I didn't know what to do. For the first time, I felt that a doctor had looked at everything together rather than treating each symptom as an isolated problem. Dr Andev listened to my history, reviewed my blood results going back years, examined me thoroughly and acknowledged that there was a pattern that needed investigating. I didn't feel rushed and we took time to build up the whole picture of what had been going on. Dr Andev explained to me what his thinking was and came up with a plan to help me have appropriate investigations and treatment. I felt like we had the same aim of improving my quality of life and getting to the bottom of a long history that hadn't been given the attention it needed previously. Most importantly, I left feeling seen. After such a long and frustrating journey, having a consultant acknowledge that my symptoms were real and that they require further investigation was incredibly validating. I am extremely grateful for the thoroughness, kindness and professionalism and would wholeheartedly recommend Dr Andev.

From admission to discharge Dr Andev looked after me in all aspects. He explained all treatments tests ect in detail and reassured me at every step. I could not have asked for more caring treatment.

Dr. Andev has been blessing, I have GPA Vasculitis. For one and a half years I was really ill and under three different consultants, no one knew what was happening to me. Dr. Andev read my notes, all of them! I was diagnosed and treated straight away. It’s coming up to two years now and I’m nearly back to my normal self. Everyone is different and pain thresholds are different, Dr. Andev listened to me and that was half my battle, just to be heard. I cannot thank Dr Andev enough for the care and compassion shown to my mum during her recent appointment. From the moment we arrived, we felt listened to and supported.
