Miss Javeria Iqbal

Miss Javeria Iqbal is a skilled and compassionate Consultant Breast Surgeon with The Birmingham Breast Group, specialising in the surgical treatment of breast cancer. She graduated from Khyber Medical College, Peshawar, Pakistan, and completed her general surgery training at King Fahad Medical City in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. After moving to the UK, Miss Iqbal gained extensive experience working across various breast units nationwide. In 2021, she earned her Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration in oncoplastic breast surgery.

Miss Iqbal offers a wide range of oncoplastic and reconstructive breast surgeries, including wide local excision, sentinel lymph node biopsy, mastectomy with skin- and nipple-sparing techniques, and axillary clearance. She is also experienced in therapeutic mammoplasty, implant-based and partial breast reconstructions using perforator flaps, nipple reconstruction, breast reduction, and augmentation. Over the past six years, she has performed more than 1,400 breast-related surgeries, reflecting her extensive expertise.

Her qualifications include an MBBS from Khyber Medical University, Fellowships of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (FCPS), and the European Board of Surgery in Breast Surgery (FEBS), as well as a master’s degree in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery from the University of East Anglia. She also holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Medical Education and the BRESO accreditation, enabling her to deliver patient-centred, integrated cancer and reconstructive care.
