My hearing care assistant Claire was brilliant. I only made the appointment because I was spending New Year in the area from London and still had muffled hearing despite being under treatment for wax removal in both ears. I had already gone down the local NHS route, which uses only irrigation, to no effect and the private (Specsavers) route, which uses only micro-suction, with limited success after several visits. So I was delighted that with just one treatment of about twenty minutes at Meadows and Wood my ears were completely clear. Claire used both methods in appropriate combination to get the result I wanted. She was very pleasant, friendly and extremely professional and fully answered any questions I had. She was also careful to keep me informed of what she was doing at every point of the treatment whilst ensuring that there was no pain or discomfort. I would unhesitatingly recommend Meadows and Wood to anybody. The standard of treatment I received was so high that it might well be worth making the trip from London the next time I need their services!

I had my varicose vein scan with Louis and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the start, he made me feel relaxed, comfortable, and confident that I was being properly looked after. Louis explained everything in a really easy-to-understand way and talked me through the scan as it was happening, which helped put me completely at ease. The ultrasound was very thorough, and it was clear he really knows what he’s doing, nothing felt rushed, and he took his time to check everything properly. What I appreciated most was how calm and reassuring Louis was throughout the appointment. He made sure I understood what was going on, what the scan showed, and what the next steps might be, without using complicated medical language or making it feel overwhelming. The whole appointment felt professional but friendly, and I left feeling informed, reassured, and confident in the advice I was given. If you’re feeling nervous about having a varicose vein scan or don’t know where to start, I would 100% recommend seeing Louis. You’re in very safe hands.

Zack treated my son for deep verrucas caused by swimming, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the care we received. The diagnosis and treatment were done in the same appointment, and everything was handled with so much care and professionalism. My son is 9 years old and was understandably nervous, but Zack was fantastic at keeping him calm, confident, and engaged throughout the treatment. He was reassuring, patient, and made the whole experience far less daunting. The treatment itself was quick and very well managed. We went back for a follow-up today and were given the all-clear, along with a top-up treatment to remove any remaining dead skin and ensure nothing was left behind. Zack explained everything clearly to both my son and me, which really empowered us and reassured us that this was the best course of action. Zack was excellent — funny, caring, and professional — exactly what you want, especially when treating a young child. I would highly recommend him without hesitation.

He explained the options to me very carefully, he gave advice and allowed time for me to ask questions which he answered fully. However, I was over weight and he explained very carefully the risks posed in surgery by the extra weight I was carrying. We decided a way forward together; we set a date for the operation, allowing time for me to lose some weight. I was very grateful to him for providing me with a clear focus and for his encouragement. By the date of the operation, I had lost a substantial amount of weight and the operation was performed successfully. I have a great deal to thank Professor Shaikh for - in addition to his surgical expertise, I am grateful for his advice, encouragement and support. I had a day procedure at the Lindo Wing and the experience was excellent. The doctors and nurses were incredibly supportive, professional, and kind, which made a stressful situation much easier to cope with. The entire process, from arranging the initial consultation to scheduling the procedure, was handled very efficiently, with minimal waiting time. The medical staff took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable and well cared for throughout the day. The environment was calm, clean, and reassuring, and I truly felt that I was in very safe hands. I am very grateful for the care and compassion shown by the whole team.

I have attended this practice twice now for my son ongoing illness. First visit we have Dr Victor, second we have Justino Monteiro. Both were very professional and friendly. My son who was crying manage to stay calm with both doctors. As a parent I was very happy with the customer care. Also Domingos the practice manager accommodate my son for a last minute appointment in time of crisis, which I was so grateful. Thank you so much for all your attention and looking after my son. I have recently completely recovered from a hip replacement operation and found the experience excellent from the original consultation to the successful recovery . My expectations were exceeded in every way from being able to complete my first steps 5 hours after surgery and being discharged from hospital within 24 hours.
