Moving to a new country was supposed to be an exciting fresh start, but instead I found myself struggling with depression and anxiety in ways I'd never experienced before. Everything felt overwhelming - the isolation, adjusting to a new culture, being away from everything familiar. I didn't recognise myself anymore. Working with Karima has been transformative. She understood the complexity of what I was going through - it wasn't just about feeling low, it was about grief, identity, belonging, and rebuilding my life from scratch. She created such a compassionate space whilst also helping me develop practical strategies to manage both the depression and anxiety. I'm still in therapy, but the difference is remarkable. I can handle difficult days so much better now. I've got tools that actually work, and more importantly, I've found hope again. I can see a future here that feels possible, even good. The anxiety doesn't consume me the way it did, and the depression has lifted enough that I can engage with my new life rather than just surviving it. Mr Ben Yates is in my opinion an excellent podiatric surgeon who gives a very good clinical opinion. I was unhappy that Mr Yates charged me for a “new patient” appointment when this was in fact a follow up appointment lasting about 12 minutes following previous surgery by Mr Yates. Furthermore, I did not receive a clinic letter from Mr Yates until I chased it up more than 2 weeks after my appointment. I received no apology for the delay in sending the letter. Mr Yate’s clinical letter did not contain all the information promised at the consultation and I was obliged to chase this information again. I emailed Mr Ben Yates to raise my concerns but I did not receive a reply from him.

Highly recommend Emma and the team at HCA Healthcare, I was dealt with professionalism, care and had the added bonus of getting to know my consultant throughout my pregnancy which made me feel like a person and more at ease, the clinic is also brand new and such a positive calming experience. Going into my c section in the knowledge that the team knew about me personally and saw me regularly was so valuable. Although a last minute complication meant I did not end up having my c section with Emma I still received support from her and the team even on the day and if I am lucky enough to be pregnant again in the future I will definitely want Emma to be my consultant again.

The Clinic was a little difficult to find but once there the staff were excellent and very efficient. My appointment was on time and the waiting area was warm and comfortable. The consultant was very helpful and explained everything and answered all my questions. I wasn’t rushed or meant to feel unimportant. The nurse was helpful and reassuring. There had been an administrative problem that I had mentioned to the lady on arrival and that was completely sorted out by the time I left which was extremely efficient. I will have no hesitation on returning for a procedure in the near future. An excellent clinic

On the day I was apprehensive which I would consider natural. However I was well looked after at every stage and always had confidence in Dr Agarwal. The procedure was uneventful and all of my concerns proved unfounded. It was all so much easier for me than I had anticipated. The immediate improvement in vision was more than I had expected. There were no problems during the recovery period and at my eye check after six weeks the ophthalmologist told me everything was perfect. I now have excellent vision in that eye. Should the other eye need done I hope Dr Agarwal will do it.

All results were explained fully and in a way that was easy to understand. He described the condition clearly, answered questions carefully, and remained professional and engaged throughout. I’m a quite nervous patient and I always inform staff of that plus the fact that I’m on blood thinners! The nurse putting in the cannula took ages and it felt sore! However as I don’t look at the needle going in I didn’t realise what was happening until another nurse saw through the window and came rushing in and pulled the rubber tourniquet off my arm! I looked down and saw that blood was gushing down my arm! I said OMG and was shocked and it sent me into stress

I had my surgery at The Park Hospital and my experience was excellent. The hospital was very clean and well maintained, and all of the staff were extremely helpful, caring, and professional throughout my visit. I felt very well looked after from start to finish. The food was good, there were free hot drinks available, and the physiotherapy support was excellent. Overall, it was a really positive experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Park Hospital.

I required a GP appointment at short notice. WLC had same day appointments available, which I could book hassle free on the website. I saw a GP that diagnosed my health issue and provided a script. My pharmacist had an issue with obtaining the one item, but a phone call to WLC resolved that and a new script was texted and emailed to me later the same day.
