Dr Sunmboye has been looking after me for nearly 2 years now as I have Lupus SLE which was diagnosed then at the same time I was also diagnosed with Pulmonary Artery Hypertension PAH he has been excellent from the day I met him and very empathetic and considered both my conditions also has liased with Royal Papworth Hospital Cambridge whos specialist care I am under for my PAH. He has always advised me well and made me feel at ease answered my questions to the best of his ability and given me reassurance and positive vibes and energy especially at my last visit where he gave me good news about my Lupus markers coming down this would not have been possible without him when I was very low hes made me feel safe and strong hes laughed with me and nearly cried with me at times always seems to have gone above and beyond he is an excellent consultant and I am very lucky to have him caring and looking after me. I would also like to add he thinks outside the box and looks at things with a holistic approach which is very rare now a days he makes me feel heard and always asks me if I am ok and great at listening to my crazy problems and trust me there has been many of these in past couple of years he will always take his time and never has rushed me in clinic made things easy and accessible for me like blood tests medications very knowledgeable and professional person about Lupus SLE and also knowledgeable about my PAH I have learnt so much from him and will continue to do so hopefully amazing person.

Dr Laura Ismail is truly an exceptional doctor and one of those rare professionals who redefine what outstanding medical care should feel like. She is, without question, the most knowledgeable and highly educated doctor I have ever met, yet what makes her remarkable goes far beyond her impressive expertise. From the very start of the consultation, she took the time to listen attentively and understand my concerns in depth. She explained everything with clarity and precision, taking great care to ensure that I fully understood every aspect. I arrived with a long list of questions, and she answered each one patiently and thoughtfully, never rushing, never minimising anything, and always making me feel heard. What impressed me most was the sense of reassurance she provided throughout the entire consultation. Dr Ismail has a rare ability to make you feel completely safe, supported, and confident that you are in the very best hands. I feel that she would never allow a patient to leave without feeling fully at ease, fully informed, and with a clear understanding of the treatment plan and next steps. Doctors like her are incredibly rare. Her unique combination of intelligence, thoroughness, empathy, and genuine dedication sets her apart. I cannot recommend Dr Laura Ismail highly enough to anyone seeking not only an exceptional doctor, but an exceptional human being.

Considering i am a private patient very Dissapointed. 1. I was contacted after making the initial appointment asking where i had my MRI scans. I gave the lady all details only to be contacted again the next day stating they could'nt locate them. I then gave them more comprehensive details and was assured if any issues i would be contacted. I attended the practice for the consultation on 27/11/25 only to be told by Mr. Bacon we could not proceed as he did not have my scans. I proceeded to to ask for the pre med tests during which an anneasatist was very rude to me because unfortunatly i have a needle phobea. 2. Prior to the operation i rang to ask that during the operation day is there somewhere for my partner[ ie. in the ward room etc] and informed yes. She was informed on arrival at 6.30am with me that she was not allowed on the ward until 6pm . We had travelled 80miles to the hospital that day. If we had been informed prior too alternatve arrangements could have been made for her.

Overall experience was poor. After initial consultation I had little or no contact with the hospital, any contact was initiated by myself. Clear lack of communication between departments. I had already paid for my procedure and waiting for a surgery slot. Surgery was scheduled for a Wednesday but received a call the Friday before basically saying if I didnt drive up that day and do a blood test, the operation couldn't go ahead. Luckily I was in a position where I could do that but imagine if I had kids, couldn't get out of work, had no car/transport. The list goes on. The actual surgery seems to have gone well. (1 week post op). But.... the whole experience was pretty poor, no, very poor. I'd have been upset if this was the NHS but this was a privately paid procedure and if it wasn't for the fact that I had already booked time off work, staff cover, kennels for my Cane Corso's (which wasn't cheap) I genuinely would have asked for my money back and gone somewhere else.

From the outset, he was incredibly calm and reassuring, which immediately put me at ease. The procedure was clearly explained and it was obvious that a great deal of thought and planning had gone into it. The surgery itself was meticulously performed, and my recovery has been excellent so far. Any questions I had were answered thoroughly, whether they felt silly or not, which made the whole experience even more reassuring. I had a great experience at Cyprus ivf hospital. Aman was our coordinator and she was immediately responding to all our worries and questions. It is a clean and well equipped clinic. The prices were fixed and no extra expenses were placed. They let you now about the price from the beginning and you now as the procedure goes on, when and how much you have to pay. Transfer of the embryos took place only when the doctor was sure everything was ready. No rushing. They followed the correct protocol for my case and were always there for us any day any time! From my initial enquiry about Refractive Lens Replacement surgery, through my surgery and aftercare I have had excellent care from Vision Scotland. Everything was clearly explained and the surgery has left me with the desired result, 20/20 vision with no glasses needed. The only (slight) negative difference here is a greater need for good light when reading at night or close work. The procedure was pain free and I have had no complications. I am looking forward to enjoying the results for (I hope) many years to come. Thank you to all staff involved with my care.

I arrived on time. The waiting time was short. I was greeted by the consultant personally. He was very cheerful and showed me to a seat in the consulting room. I did feel that the appointment was a little bit rushed. But it was satisfactory overall. I reread the consent form that I signed when I got home, and there were a a couple of the questions I do not remember him discussing. But these can be addressed when I return for my pre op assessment. Overall I was happy with the outcome.
