Ms El Kafsi treated me for Achalasia in 2023 and has remained in contact ever since to monitor my symptoms. Not being able to swallow & keep food down is a stressful experience especially when it's been going on for a while. Jihène put me at ease from the very first moment I met her, she explained what was happening to my body in a way that allowed me to adjust my diet and the way I ate which made an immediate difference to my symptoms. She explained the process of confirming my diagnosis, even taking the time to be present during the Manometry test. Life since the Hellers Myotomy surgery, performed by Jihène has been like night & day; there will always be occasional issues, that's just the nature of Achalasia, but 99.9% of my problems are gone and I could never thank her enough for that. Never once did I feel like I was just another patient, Jihène truly cares and I know if my symptoms flare up again, she'll be there to help.

He was extremely thorough, and for the first time in a long while, I left feeling hopeful — hopeful not only that my pain can be better managed, but also that I may finally get a clear diagnosis of what is actually happening to me. I have been under Mr Charalamous's care for around 3 years. I have always found him to be easy to talk to & he explains things in a way i can understand. I had a botched knee replacement at Kim's in Maidstone which was very painful. After a few meetings to discuss what could be done we agreed a procedure. I have to say i am over the moon with the results. The recovery time was extremely short, after the insert replacement i was up & walking with no sticks inside 2 weeks. My surgery took place there and had to stay overnight due to vertigo and dizziness. The hospital was friendly, new and pristine. The nursing staff outstanding as well as of course the medical team. I had dinner and breakfast and it was also healthy and delicious. Yesterday I returned to have the dressing removed and it was equally good. If any criticism would be to the pharmacy with a 30minute wait to get my prescription and also despite being a Bupa hospital not having the availity to charge Bupa for medication- I am under Bupa Global and in other Bupa hospitals this is the case.

He explained the process and outlined the risks of the proposed surgery in clear layman's language that I could understand.. He did not sugar the pill! As the treatment progressed, the friendliness continued with the further use of very impressive analytical machinery each with a specific purpose. This was followed by a very informative chat with the the surgeon, Mr. Mazen Tahhan, who provided me with the information to aid my decision. The actual treatment followed a few days later and was completely painless. A week later, I was given a 100% success rating and an appointment for my second eye. This was a similar experience.

Cannot tell you about my visit as my reply to asking for an appointment is we don’t have and appointments and try calling on a Monday Tuesday or Thursday. Absolutely disgusting I’d be happy if given a date in a months time . You know you can never either get through on the phone or online to ge pain and with many other issues t an appointment. Spend a hour on hold to be told there are no appointments so I’m living in absolute pain and many other issues what a waste of time
