A thoroughly professional surgeon who has supported me through my rotator cuff injury, encouraging a physio strategy from the outset and only resorting to surgery once it was established that physio wasn’t working. A 12 month journey with great results. And an excellent post surgery physio experience with Becs at Queens Physio.

Mr Desai was very professional and took his time to explain what he thought was causing my elbow plan. We came up with a plan together and he then referred me to the appropriate providers for treatment and further investigation. I was very happy with the care I received.

Shoulder surgery completed to repair rotator cuff as a day case. Friendly team throughout. Clear explanations of process, whilst managing expectations for post surgery. Sleeping was a little difficult, pillows to support were essential. Expect a little discomfort in the early stages, manageable with pain relief. Recovery phase is slow particularly regaining strength and range of movement - setting small goals along the way helped and physiotherapy were a big part of the recovery process. Greatly benefitted from having the surgery and very thankful to Mr Desai for doing such a great job!
