I was very satisfied with the care and medical attention that I received from Mr.Sturridge and would recommend the whole experience which was very efficiently organised and had a very successful outcome. I am very grateful for the results of the operation on my right hip which has increased my mobility to my becoming increasingly more active. Mr Sturridge carried out a detailed examination of my knee and recommended the procedure which he felt would give me the best outcome with good mobility. The recovery time was as he predicted and at this stage in my recovery I am very pleased with the result.

Mr Sturridge made myself and my husband feel very comfortable, I felt at ease and not afraid to ask questions. He examined me and was very much to the point with his diagnoses, his listening skills were also excellent, I would have no worries visiting him again and I highly recommend him , I am 84yrs old but there was no way he made me feel my problem didn’t matter.

Mr Sturridge is very obviously a very capable surgeon and I feel blessed to have been “repaired” by him. Initially I found him slightly matter-of-fact, and this is possibly because in his position he knows so much and his patients know so little. However, after a few wise cracks from me, he seemed to become much more approachable, and I found his explanations and instructions helpful, easy to understand and very clear. This has enabled me to know why I need to do certain things whilst under Mr Sturridge’s care (even if I didn’t like them), because I knew why I had to do them, and this I believe has led to me recovering and getting back to normal really quickly.

Seb was very helpful and direct with explaining the surgery needed and what to expect with my recovery. I followed all the advice after surgery notes, and I feel I have had an excellent recovery.

Mr Sturridge's overall demeaner instills confidence in his ability to perform what is a relatively complex (hip replacement) operation. The procedure was successful and I am well on the way to full recovery. A good outcome.
