Mr Seb Sturridge

Faced with a MRI report of severe advanced osteoarthritis in my right hip I knew I was looking for a consultant with minimally invasive approach to get me back into my normal activities as quickly as possible. I used Doctify reviews to narrow down my search and settled on Mr Sturridge. At my initial consultation he was very reassuring that a total hip replacement would fix my problem. Just three weeks later I was at Spire Clare Park hospital for the operation which went well and I was discharged the next day. The recovery plan was clearly mapped out and I was walking unaided after 2 weeks. I've just seen Mr Sturridge for my 6 week post operation review and was given the all clear to resume all my previous activities. I couldn't fault the care and attention to detail I received from both Mr Sturridge and the team at Clare Park.

I was rather anxious and nervous about having hip replacement surgery, but Mr Sturridge and his team were excellent. The surgery went really well and it is so good not to be in constant pain. At my post op appointment I told Mr Sturridge that I wish I had had it done years ago.

I visited Mr Sturridge for pain in my hip. I found him to be polite, friendly and professional. He explained my diagnosis and treatment plan extremely clearly and I knew exactly what to expect. The whole clinic experience was very efficient and his secretaries were also very helpful and friendly.

Mr Sturridge is a fantastic surgeon, I heard so many good things about his capabilities after my surgery that were just confirmed by my own experience. It was a small amount of judgement and a large amount of luck that I chose Mr Sturridge for my treatment, but I'm so glad that I did. The pre and post opp support were second to none and the surgery itself was incredible, with no recovery issues at all. I was back up on my feet within hrs.

I was diagnosed by Mr Sturridge as requiring a hip replacement due to age-related arthritis on 5June26. On 16June26 the surgery was carried out and today (9 weeks) was my last check-up visit with Mr Sturridge. From start to finish the experience was very professional, caring and flawlessly executed. My sincere thanks to a wonderful man !

My recent visit was a follow up and was on time. Mr Sturridge explained everything in a clear manner, showed me the x-ray and said everything was ok. He has left me with an open appointment should I need it. I found Mr Sturridge pleasant and easy to talk to which made the whole experience easier to get through.

Mr Sturridge carried out a total hip replacement (THR) on my right hip in February 2025. This operation was a complete success. I didn’t hesitate to contact Mr. Sturridge again when I had pain in my left leg and my left hip THR took place on June 15, 2026. I went into this operation with complete confidence and again it has been a great success. In my opinion Mr Sturridge has a very professional and caring attitude. He explains the patient’s diagnosis and treatment he would recommend. He listens carefully to the patient’s questions and provides clear answers. He is kindly and reassuring and I would not hesitate to contact him again if I had any future problems.
