The OCD nursing team are fantastic at what they do and the therapy team are absolutely brilliant. My 1:1 therapy was outstanding and so valuable to me during my time here. The catering team, the housekeepers, maintenance, reception.... All really friendly and professional. Two things that I want to mention that I have already fed back: 1. It was very disappointing when two team members were allocated to different wards with no transition (Greta-Mae and Carlo). I feel that when we are allowing ourselves as patients to be open and vulnerable and put our trust in people, to then be told they have moved with no transitional period is not very sensitive or fair. 2. I have also fed back about a patient that seems very unwell but does not have 1:1 supervision around the hospital. This person sometimes invades others personal space, says inappropriate and triggering things, has sometimes removed her clothing in the courtyard and I have also seen her with long sticks in her hands in the courtyard. I fed this back to the patient services manager and the board holder who agreed that this was unacceptable. I was told that until discussions have been had she should be on 1:1 care, but then the following day she was once again the courtyard thrashing round the same sticks. I think this is a safeguarding concern. Those two things aside, I have found my impatient care outstanding, I cannot fault the OCD ward team. I feel heard for the first time and have hope for my future now thanks to them. I will never forget what they have done for me.

During my first visit, I felt uncomfortable with some of the comments made. A remark was made suggesting I had “gone posh” because of where I now live, which felt inappropriate and unrelated to my care. I was also advised to book a scan “at my own convenience” with enough time to “get a wax,” which did not feel professional or relevant to the medical appointment. At my second visit, I was informed that my blood results showed no signs of menopause, although a low thyroid result may mean I need medication next year. However, I did not receive a clear explanation as to what may currently be causing my symptoms. Remains of a virus I suffered from late year or it was suggested that eating processed or ready-made food could be responsible for my aching joints and muscles. This felt like an assumption rather than a discussion based on my individual circumstances, and I left without a proper understanding of what might be happening or what steps I should take next.

I was recommend by a local GP where I work to use Enhanced care, reason being is that for over two weeks I could not get into my own Totton GP surgery, calling and being way down the queuing order, I even went in to book an appointment and they said I have to call first thing, both local Pharmacies could do no more other than OTC meds and said you have to see your GP, I very quickly lost faith in my own doctor surgery. Thanks to Enhanced care from the initial online email to phone call, seeing the doctor all on the same day was well worth it, not only did the doctor ask about my current symptoms but also about my general heath and past issues ETC, medication same day and was feeling better within 4 days, highly recommend If your own GP surgery cant help sooner. 1. We were wrong footed by the entrance barrier, but luckily another patient was close to the entrance button. 2. Parking was tight - we had to park in the radiology section, but hoped that would be ok. 3. The surgery was wonderfully light and airy and spatially arranged in such a way that each patient could have space and privacy. 4. The staff i have spoken to on the phone were immensely welcoming and efficient, as were the ladies on the desk on arrival 5. The loos were wonderfully clean and airy. 6. Dr. Johnstone was most welcoming and sympathetic. I can't make the next step work, which is to review Dr. J. On only one visit, my experience was very positive. She was clearly listening to what i was saying, and made a very quick referral, for which I am very grateful.

Although the appointment wasn't satisfactory for me because the doctor couldn't give me a second opinion on my back and neck pain since his specialty is lower extremities, he sent me for updated MRI exams so he could give me a responsible and accurate second opinion on my knee and ankle. I emailed the doctor and am waiting for him to reply with his diagnosis from the previous appointment so I can provide my employer with the information they need to continue helping me with the MRI costs and get positive results that will allow me to go to work without any health risks. Thank you very much.

My daughter has had cataract surgery on both eyes on the 21st January 2026 everything went according to what we were told the whole surgery went well she was very pleased with the procedure. I would just like to say Marie who was her nurse was brilliant, she was very caring, put my daughter at ease all the time, she was there all the time and answered all the questions we had and was always available on the phone . During a very stressful time she is a real asset to the practice and look forward to seeing her when we go for her final checkup at the end of the month . Regards Alan W

In a world all consumed with AI and perfection, I can honestly say Mr Fady Sedra outshines AI. 5 Stars for Mr Fady Sedra and the staff at The Cromwell Hospital, after my ACDF surgery I can say Mr Fady Sedra's attention to detail is unmatched. He has an excellent bedside manner and displayed a level of professionalism that is rare to find. Mr Fady Sedra went above and beyond to make sure I was well cared for. The X-Ray of my neck should be in an art gallery as it is truly a work of art by Mr Fady Sedra. I highly recommend for any complex spinal work.

I found the reception at ground floor level the only weakness as I was left standing feeling a bit aimless when no one else was at the desk and also I reported someone had been sick in a toilet sink and I was just letting them know, whilst I did not want gratitude for reporting it some greater acknowledgement and action might have been expected. Anyway most importantly Dr Woodland receptionist area and staff on his floor were excellent as they were for Dr Power.

The staff at the hospital were all very friendly, helpful and efficient. They understood the importance of admission for surgery to the patient and were very supportive. All of the clinical and medical staff were first class, but the support staff were also excellent. The room was clean and comfortable and I was well looked after. The menu options were very good and the food was delicious. I have no hesitation in strongly recommending this excellent hospital.
