⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had foot surgery (hallux rigidus with fusion on my big toe joint) with Mr. Suresh Chandrashekar at London Sports Orthopaedics, and I couldn’t recommend him more highly. From the initial consultation through to surgery and follow-up care, he has shown a commendable duty of care. After losing my BUPA insurance due to redundancy, Mr. Chandrashekar went out of his way to make sure I could still access the check-ups I needed showing genuine care and support at a difficult time. A special mention also goes to his medical secretary, Katie, who has been the bridge in all communications. She is super-efficient, knowledgeable, diplomatic yet assertive, and ensures everything keeps moving smoothly. Six weeks on from surgery, I’m really happy with my progress and can’t wait to get back to running and teaching yoga again. If you’re looking for an orthopaedic specialist, I would highly recommend Mr. Chandrashekar and his team. 5 stars all round!!

This is , or should be: a two way experience betweeen the Consultant and the Patient , This morning Mr Daron Smith , ENGAGED in explaining what technical medical info he needed , before he would decide how to deal with the three problem areas . The Loose stones in my bladder , seen in earlier scan (s) at C W S. His need to talk to Consultant Owen Warren , and others already in the C and W loop . The purpose is for absolote clarification . Similarly Mr Smith would discover any facts unclear in the abdominal area . I attempted to give Mr Smith to my best endeavour, my understanding of our discussion . Such a discussion had never taken place with me before ..at C ans W . I agreed the next steps .. the first one being for me to have relevant scans on Thusday 18 the Sept. followed by a second consultation with Mr Smith with me , one to one .

I would highly rate the care that I was given throughout my time in the hospital and I would like to commend the nursing staff in particular, however I have one major issue which has left me very dissastisfied. During my first appointment I was told that I needed the socket of my hip replaced and was given a price for that procedure. Then I met with another doctor who said that said if the whole hip needed replaced it would cost considerably more and quoted a price up to £12000 more if this work needed to be done. It was confirmed after the operation that I only needed the socket replaced but was charged the price quoted for a full hip replacement without any explanation. I would like to hear from someone about resolving this issue.

(Program included a Chiropractor and 2 Physiotherapists - Soft tissue and Exercise) Following my initial diagnosis, which was both thorough and explanatory, I always received a warm welcome at Reception which helps when you are feeling fragile. The program mixed between all three experts and I only ever had to wait a few minutes for my scheduled appointment. Each expert was friendly, professional and put me at ease straight away.

Explained about the healing process and checked my scar. Recommended bio oil for the scar and gave me another exercise to help improve my knee bend. I have found him to be professional, kind and polite as well as easy to talk to. Overall I have been very reassured during our interactions

Mr Mudassar Hussain has been exceptional. He handled the biopsy with great skill and care, treating me with empathy and sensitivity: extraordinarily I had no pain at all after the procedure. He then handled giving me the subsequent news about my prostate cancer diagnosis with huge sensitivity and support, explaining everything carefully and answering all my questions sensitively. He could not have been better and I have complete confidence in him.

Once inside the building I was greeted promptly by the receptionist who was approachable and friendly. Wait time was a little longer than expected but staff did advise of this. Otherwise a very positive consultation experience. Being new to the hospital site, it wasn’t easy to locate SPH as signage tailed away aster the first o two. Car parking was poor - no spaces available on arrival and no indication given of alternatives.

Having broken my ankle, minor break but nonetheless required physio, I was lucky enough to be recommended to Physio Remedies. Sarah Lawson was fantastic and really progressed my rehab so I could get running again which is my passion. Not only that, we worked on my foot and ankle positioning and flexibility which has paid huge dividends beyond just getting me back to full fitness. Highly recommended.

Dr Mukerjee diagnosed me with COPD and insisted this was not caused by work related compost site next door to my work place. I have received a report from a health and safety agency who tested the area for contaminants. The contaminants were recorded to be 35 times higher over a two hour period compared to the total yearly allowable volume.

Dr made it clear he was not interested in listening to my explanations, cut me off and dismissed everything - it very much felt like he wasn’t interested in listening or helping. He also made openly sexist comments which left me with little doubt that I would not be getting any medical help and that it was a waste of time going to him.
