I was referred to Mr Bailey after seeing my GP and having an X-Ray, and first saw him on 24 October 2025. He showed me the images and explained the options to me and asked what I wanted to achieve. I explained that while I knew I would not run again, it would be nice to be able to take part in recreational skiing once more, albeit on gentler runs, and that I would like the stability of my knee to be restored. He asked how soon I would like to have surgery and I said as soon as possible. I was booked in there and then for surgery on 5 December 2025, which took place as planned and has been highly successful. Nearly seven weeks later I am walking normally, back in the gym, with full knee stability and no knee pain. I continue to do the physio exercises to expand my range of movement. I could not be more satisfied with the result.

Having been to several medical professionals in my life, I can honestly say the care provided by Dr Katie Cowie is exceptional. She has a great bedside manner, there is no judgement and she is, very knowledgable and understanding. Personably speaking, I would now always consult her on my journey through peri-menopause and beyond. She is well worth the cost for such excellent one to one care. I also see her for weight loss and again, for anyone contemplating medical assisted weight loss, I would always recommend going through someone like Dr Cowie. The assistance she provides with her vast knowledge on the subject is invaluable. I’m so grateful to have met her. and I recommend her to everyone I know going through any women’s health issues.

I’m so grateful to have had the most amazing experience with Eugene as my consultant. He was so kind and welcoming and made me feel at ease from start to finish. He did his absolute best to meet my birth preferences and made me feel really comfortable and listened to. I ended up needing an emergency c-section which was a huge fear of mine but it couldn’t have gone better. The surgery was quick and comfortable, and it was a beautiful, happy experience. My healing process was virtually painless and my scar looks so neat and tidy, i could not fault this birthing experience at all. Reception staff were very helpful both on arrival and when leaving the centre. The medical staff were very knowledgeable & took time to explain everything that would be part of the procedures. The doctor and his team of nurses worked very well together, a well run team. I liked the idea that a nurse remained beside me throughout all the procedures, explaining things as they happened. The recovery room nurse was very attentive and very helpful in her explanation of the printouts following the procedures. The discharge staff in the discharge waiting room provided a very welcome cup of tea and a slice of toast. I had been fasting for over 24 hours by that stage.

After seeing several gynecologists, Mr Raza was at last the most reassuring and straight forward in explaining why having a robotic laparoscopic hysterectomy would be the best way forward for me. I am now 6 weeks post op and I am feeling great. I am continuing to be amazed by how small my scar is (2cm!). I would highly recommend Mr Raza to any women doubting whether to have the operation. Every person is different of course but he is so knowledgeable, kind and professional. His PA - Sukhy - has been extremely helpful, supportive and always at the end of the line if I had any question - even during the Christmas week. Thank you !

I booked Dr Lam for a planned c-section after having one prior c-section. I ended up going into labor about a week prior to the scheduled section, and Dr Lam was very reassuring and kind and was able to deliver my baby safely via c-section that same day. After reviewing many consultants I had chosen Dr Lam due to her patient reviews and I am very happy that I did. I always felt comfortable reaching out to her office with any questions or concerns prior to my child’s birth as well as after. This c-section recovery was also much easier than my first and I haven’t had any complications. Thank you for delivering my baby Dr Lam!

Mr Tim Dudderidge

The first consultation with Mr Dudderidge was very helpful and he was able to book the surgery I needed within a couple of weeks. The day of the surgery went according to plan although the following night was quite uncomfortable, but this was not a consequence of Mr Dudderidge’s work. A follow up consultation was required to manage some post surgery symptoms but this was organised quickly and the issues were resolved satisfactorily. Several months on, I am very satisfied with the outcome and would happily recommend Mr Dudderidge to prospective patients.

Dr Joseph De Bono

Dr De Bono is a superb general clinician who views patients thoroughly, as a whole, and not just as a heart. I'm a doctor myself and this gentleman treats my father and I. I have seen him pick up on things that general clinicians missed (and I am embarrassed to say I had missed myself!). Remarkably sharp and astute chap, combined with a disarmingly pleasant interpersonal manner. He has a world class CV but is never keen to let you know it. Watching him work has informed my own practise to be honest.

I have nothing but good to say about Boz. From my earliest meeting with him as a consultant and then on to the stay and procedures at the Cleveland Clinic he was amazing. Always explained everything that was going on in a clear and concise way and in a very calm and efficient manner, we were very lucky to have him as our consultant and would recommend him to any family or colleagues who have similar issues - although obviously hoping that doesn't happen!

Mr Jowett was extremely personable making me feel very confident in his care. Everything was explained in clear and concise detail, with a follow up letter so that I could more readily digest the necessary information. Follow up diagnostics were quickly organised making for a very swift appraisal of my problem. I would have no hesitation on returning to Mr Jowett if the need arose and would certainly recommend. Spire Harpenden Hospital

The only area for improvement is the check-in process - quite often there is a queue of people waiting at reception and the vehicle registration screen is separate to the check-in form, which isn't very efficient. The waiting area and exam rooms are clean and tidy, the staff is friendly and helpful. I prefer coming here despite it being a longer drive than my nearest private hospital because of the great experience I've had previously.

I met Rishi as I had a frozen shoulder from a previous dislocation. He was totally professional and explained about the cause and possible treatments. He booked my procedure within the week, completed it without any pain or discomfort and referred me for Physiotherapy. The hydrodistention was a complete success and instantly fixed my shoulder. I am now recovering and sleeping properly again. I can not thank him or recommend him enough!

RTN Mental Health - Right To Choose

My GP sent referral for RTN in January 2025. According to their announcement on the ADHD website, the waiting time was 8-9 weeks. Unfortunately, I was waiting couple of months. My assessment was done in October and on my outcome appointment, which was a year after, the 3rd doctor was involved a d decided to do one more assessment. Without prior arrangement or agreement. Poor customer service, dishonest administration.

I found the number of emails related to the appointments to be unnecessary and extreme. I was asked to complete a pre appointment questionnaire online. I did so and then received 3 further emails and a text message asking me to do the same. I have also received 4 emails asking me to give this feedback. Please look at your system. Filling your clients inboxes with multiple emails is not helpful for anyone.

I was seen on time by a friendly and caring staff. The surgery went very smoothly, and I had no pain. The staff helped reduce my anxiety. The discharge meeting was very thorough and detailed, and appointments for aftercare have been arranged. I was very pleased with the appointment and the care shown. The staff also showed a high degree of expertise and competence, as well as personal care.
