About Mr Mohammed Al-Maiyah
Mr Al-Maiyah is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon working in Surrey, South London. He has experience in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery and treats elective and traumatic conditions. He also has a large revision practice and regularly sees patients requiring second opinions.
His practice covers all aspects of foot and ankle disorders including the diagnosis and treatment (both operative and non-operative). His areas of expertise are as follows:

Mr. Al-Maiyah gained his MB ChB from Al-Mustansirya University and underwent higher surgical training in the North of England. He undertook over two years of fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery as well as trauma/limb reconstruction surgery, in The UK and Australia.
He has presented at many national and international conferences and has also contributed to the scientific literature in his field.
Additionally, he undertakes medico-legal work and acts as an expert witness in various trauma and orthopaedic cases.

Very happy with the surgery I have had under the care of Mr Al-Maiyah over the past year. Operations went very smoothly at Epsom hospital and follow ups at Croydon have been efficient and extra appointments offered where necessary when healing was initially a little slower than expected. Foot and ankle are feeling much more stable and normal life is resumed.
A warm a friendly Consultant with great knowledge in his field. The operation went well and I am happy to have been signed off and be free to go about my life.
