Mr Mohammed As-Sultany

I had a hip replacement operation and because of Mr As-Sultany's expertise and professionalism it made the whole experience far less traumatic. It has been a success and would now recommend that anyone with the same hip problem should go ahead and get it done.

Delay to the scheduled appointment time but that was to be expected. I cannot thank Mr As-Sultany and his team enough!!!! Overall , very happy.

The consultant I saw, Mr Assultany, is a really nice guy. He explained everything well, answered my questions clearly and in a way I could understand and was pleasant and well mannered. That was the good part about my visit. My appointment time was 3.10, I arrived 5 minutes early, so 3.05, and I wasn't actually seen until 4.25. I think its disgusting that I was left waiting an hour and a quarter, and this resulted in me having to cancel an unrelated appointment that I had later that day. After talking to other people who were waiting, we worked out there was only 5 minutes alloted for each appointment. This is ridiculous, it could take some people 5 minutes just to walk to the room the consultant was in, nevermjnd have their full appointment.

Follow up was 8 weeks 3 days post-op. The surgery was really busy but Mr Al-Sultany took the time to listen to my questions and queries regarding my knee replacement and answered them thoroughly. He also reiterated the need to continue bending my knee back to get better range of movement, and also pressing my leg down firmly. I am very happy with the outcome of the surgery and found Mr Al-Sultany to be very charismatic and professional.

Cannot fault the overall experience, given as much in formation as I needed to make any decision and am very grateful for being under the care of Dr Al Sultany

I’ve had total knee replacement surgery at Euxton Hall hospital recently. Had an appointment today with the surgeon to check my knee. Five star treatment from everyone. Very happy with the service. Would recommend.

I have had a left hip replacement 7/08/26. Prior to this I was housebound, using a stick around the house, unable to socialise, use the gym and engage with my grandchildren whom I’m a regular babysitter. My consultant was welcoming, reassuring and gave a good explanation of what I should expect at the consultation when I consented for surgery. We looked at the x ray together which I found interesting. My surgery went smoothly. I left hospital the next day. I did all the exercises given to me in the handbook religiously. Euxton Hall contacted me during the first week after returning home which was lovely. Recovery went smoothly. I saw a physiotherapist who was pleased with my progress at 4 weeks and 7 weeks. He gave me more exercises and boosted my confidence. I found this very useful. I have just had a consultation today. It was lovely to see my consultant and to have the opportunity to thank him for the difference his surgery has made. I was able to tell him that I am able to push my grandson in the pram and do some netball shots with my grandaughter. My advice to other patients is to do your exercises. It’s uncomfortable but gets better quite quickly. Also get lots of rest. Sleep can be a problem for several weeks. That’s it. A little long winded but I think all is going to be ok. I would recommend my consultant. Thank you.
