Dr Sultan Qasim is professional, friendly, and reassuring with patients. He performs successful surgeries, giving clear details about treatment and recovery. His kind care and advice ease worries about operations. Key conditions addressed include bunion correction, foot pain, and general foot and ankle surgeries.
He was very easy to talk to and his manner makes one feel at ease immediately. He explains everything very succinctly and it was a pleasure to meet him again.
Dr Sultan Qasim is an exceptional Doctor who provided me with some great care and advice.
I cannot fault the professionalism and positive outcome.
I found Dr qasim to be great surgeon, explained everything what to expect and reassured me , the procedure was successful and my recovery as he described He was a lovely gentleman, friendly, relaxed and professional, would definitely recommend to any one
The doctors consultation was very good . Lack of parking however caused so problems as my walking is poor . The advice when phoning that there is street parking nearby does not really help as n-one could guarantee that especially if you are not familiar with the area . Better signing / directions within the building a minor issue if you haven’t been before .
Dr Quasim was professional, kind and attentive, he provided all the information I needed relating to my pending surgery in a language I was able to understand. He reassured me with regards to pain relief post operatively. My initial anxieties regarding my operation have been alleviated following the consultation. Thank you Dr Quasim.
I saw Mr Quasim for a second opinion. He was lovely with me, listened to my concerns, examined my foot and gave me his considered opinion. I was very reassured by his explanation and advice and would thoroughly recommend him. A rare thing to find a doctor who listens to you and talks to you, rather than at you.
My foot pain started in early May and I saw a Tyneside Integrated Musculoskeletal Service physiotherapist who recommended I buy a metatarsal pad which I found reduced the pain. However, Mr Qasim, in late August, ridiculed the pad and said he would send me to a Musculoskeletal Dept at Freeman where they (a technician and a health care professional, HCP) would, he gave me to understand, provide a custom orthotic. They gave me a standard reinforced insole that increased the pain during the breaking in period. By the time I saw them in mid-November, my straight second toe had become bent and resulted in a different difficulty in walking, and (likely as a result of this bend in the first toe joint, according to the HCP, a podiatrist) the metatarsal pain had largely subsided but I was left with an altered gait.
