From my experience with Mr. Casula, I have no doubt that he is an expert in his field. I consulted him for a severe mitral regurgitation, a condition I knew very little about, but he explained the issue clearly and described the symptoms I was likely experiencing with complete accuracy. He then walked me through the impact of my condition and how it could progress if left untreated. It quickly became clear that timely treatment was essential. Next came the discussion about treatment options—repair the valve, with a fallback to replacement it if necessary, along with the choice of replacement available using minimal invasive treatment for fast recovery time. This was the most intimidating part of the entire process, but Mr. Casula made everything as straightforward as possible so my family and I could make an informed decision. What impressed me most was his high standard of care: he wasn’t willing to let me undergo a 4–6 hour surgery without ensuring a lasting, effective solution. We talked through our goal and the contingency options if the initial plan wasn’t achievable. On the day of the surgery, he made sure my family and I were fully comfortable with the surgery plan, what I was going to go through, and what to expect afterward. Just over four hours later (which felt more like 30 minutes to me), I woke up to learn that the surgery had gone smoothly and there had been no need to consider any of the backup plans. That was two weeks ago, either I have high tolerance for pain or the pain management is excellent. I mostly too paracetamol and he is still checking in to make sure I’m doing well. His care has been truly amazing and has exceeded all my expectations. Thank you, Dr. Casuala.

I always felt safe, informed, and in truly expert hands. Most of all, my medical coordinator, Manon, was like a fairy - an absolute diamond. She followed every request with dedication and went above and beyond to support me. Her kindness and attention made the entire journey so much easier. I wholeheartedly recommend Reproclinic, a modern clinic in the heart of Barcelona, to anyone considering fertility treatment or egg preservation.

My experience with Mr Okaro was excellent and very smooth from the start. He handled my case with extreme empathy and calmness to deliver some overwhelming news to me. He was very reassuring and gained my trust and confidence very quickly, in his professional nature. I was petrified about going through with the surgery, but he explained the procedure and all the steps involved. I eventually tried to do a 'runner' and not face it, but he was encouraging and reminded me of the benefits and newness I would feel afterwards. I had a slight hiccup / setback for the initial surgery date, but he was great in explaining how to get back on track and was flexible to accommodate another date promptly. I was not happy to have had to go through surgery, but I am happy to have met Mr Okaro and go through this journey with him. I celebrated my birthday the next day after my discharge from hospital and I silently dedicated that birthday celebration to him! I am totally relieved and happy to have this medical issue behind me now. So Grateful & Thankful to God & Mr Okaro. I feel very blessed & looking forward to a refreshing future!

Excellent care - Cannot fault how Ms Adams and Mr Parker and their teams looked after my mother before, during and after her operation. We paid personally for the operation (~£40k) but our experience with the billing and payments and the wider admin team is in a complete mess. We had to pay up front for everything prior to admission, which was ok, but unexpected (could have been better communicated to us, rather than a sentence lost in some paperwork), and fairly sure the insurance companies which they usually deal with wouldn't do this. One of the payments/billing team then visited my mother in her hospital bed, 4 days after a major abdominal surgery and started demanding more money verbally (to be paid that evening/the next day) with no paperwork/invoice/backup). Some things weren't done as part of the operation and the Consultant messaged us to say that it should be discounted, but no adjustment has been made. I have requested detailed backup on numerous occasions, and nothing has come through. A real shame that the medical and care team have been let down by the Cleveland back office on this occasion.

I can’t recommend Mr. Richard Scawn highly enough. Before meeting him, I had seen three other surgeons and even booked the operation twice but ended up cancelling because I didn’t feel fully confident. From my very first appointment with Richard, everything felt different. He was calm, kind, and incredibly reassuring — never pushy, never rushed — and both my husband and I instantly felt we were in safe hands. I trusted him completely, and I’m so glad I did. I’m now three weeks post–lower lid blepharoplasty and absolutely over the moon with the results. My bruising was minimal and disappeared quickly, and the scar line is genuinely impeccable. I’m 39, so my skin is still fairly young, but even with a magnifying mirror I cannot see the incision. The work Richard has done is truly amazing. If you’re considering this surgery, I would wholeheartedly recommend Mr. Richard Scawn. I couldn’t be happier with my experience or the outcome.

We spoke in detail about my Type 1 diabetes, its potential impact on a future pregnancy, and strategies to optimise blood sugar control beforehand. The appointment never felt rushed; Dr Adam provided clear guidance and even highlighted the progress I’ve made, which was a reassuring confidence boost. I would highly recommend Dr Adam, especially for anyone managing a medical condition. The experience was seamless, and I received comprehensive follow-up notes within just a couple of days.

The entire journey to replace my hip joint was expertly handled by the NTC in Kirkcaldy. From the pre op through to the day of surgery everything was explained by very polite and pleasant staff. The surgery and aftercare were excellent and I was able to return home next day . The nursing staff were excellent, attentive and very caring . All of the care from physio , OT, nursing team and theatre staff was excellent. I would recommend Mr Keenan and the NTC team to anyone needing a similar surgery. Mr Keenan has given me back the ability to walk without pain . I am indebted to his skill and the entire team for their excellent care. I agree the new pod waiting areas for day procedures helps with keeping everything moving smoother however waiting in a small pod (no TV) and a small thin plastic bag to place my clothing and footwear was not impressive! Thankfully I had left my winter coat when I was dropped off otherwise it would not have fitted into the flimsily plastic bag. I also had to ask for a separate bag so my shoes were not squashed on top of my clothes. Environmentally there needs to be a better system. If my surgical gowns can be washed and reused then there should be a more appropriate method to store patients basic clothing. Apart from the embarrassing plastic bag I can’t fault the staff who are always amazing and super supportive

One stars as Nick was a no show. I waited 10 minutes and had an appointment following this one so this needed to happen as scheduled. After 10 mins I had not heard anything so enquired at the desk and was informed he was running late and would t be around for another hour. As I had another work-related appointment I could not wait. Given he was going o be over an hour late this should have been communicated to me when I arrived and checked in as it would have been known ahead of the scheduled appointment time. I also incurred expenses travelling to the hospital.

Mr Lunawat was very good and made me feel at ease during my visit. I was happy with the results of the surgery and he clearly outlined expectations. I had a few questions about aftercare that I wanted to ask him but I didn’t have time to do so as I only saw him briefly in the hours leading up the procedure and it was a very rushed visit. Mr Lunawat did not visit me after the procedure. I would recommend Mr Lunawat to others - very good service and it is clear that he cares about his patients.
