Dr Stott supported me in the assisted vaginal delivery of my baby girl at Fitzrovia Suite, UCLH. I could have not been more happy to have chosen him as my consultant. I had hoped for a natural delivery at full term, but had some slight complications which meant that was not possible. Despite this, thanks to Dr Stott both my baby and I did very well, and I look back at her birth process as a very positive experience. Dr Stott has sound judgement when it comes to clinical decisions. He is calm and clear at communicating and explaining the reasoning behind his recommendations in easily accessible terms. And he was excellent at the delivery process itself. Due to gestational diabetes I was recommended to have an early induction. Dr Stott explained the process and its benefits in detail, so I felt prepared on the day. My baby was very small, and during the final stage of labour she became distressed. Dr Stott suggested a vacuum assisted delivery to speed things up, knowing I wanted to avoid a C section if possible. Despite the urgency, he remained calm and made sure I understood what was happening throughout the process and I felt entirely confident in his recommendation. The outcome was great - despite an episiotomy I was able to move straight away, have not had any discomfort and all the midwives who visited me have been commenting on how well the stitches were done; despite the stress she was under my daughter was well, and her head looked completely normal from the outset. I feel very lucky to have had Dr Stott support me through this all, and I do genuinely believe that having him as my consultant made a huge difference on the outcome and how satisfied I was with the birth experience.

I just wanted to take a moment to share how incredibly positive my entire experience was, especially considering I was entering the hospital for an operation. From start to finish, every single individual I encountered went above and beyond to provide exceptional care and service, which truly made a difference in how I felt throughout the entire process. I would like to specifically thank Mr. Streeter, the surgeon/consultant, for his professionalism and reassuring approach, as well as the anaesthetist and their assistant, who made me feel comfortable and safe and talked me through the options. The nurses in the operating theatre were absolutely wonderful, their calm and attentive manner helped me feel at ease during a rather nerve-wracking time. Equally, the nurses on the ward continued that same level of kindness and care, ensuring that I was well looked after throughout my recovery. I'd also like to extend my appreciation to the ladies delivering food—to help me keep my strength up. The porters and cleaners and reception staff were just as impressive, working behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly and the hospital environment remained clean and welcoming. Thanks to each and every one of you, my entire hospital experience was far more pleasant than I could have ever expected. I don’t tend to leave reviews but feel this is necessary. I think a lot of women out there can resonate with me when I say it can be difficult to be heard and or taken seriously when it comes to Gynecological issues we may face in our lives. Being constantly gaslighted, being told it’s just a heavy period, the pain is normal, lets do a watch and wait, prescriptions given to mask the underlying issues. For me, to describe my past medical experiences regarding this area as both difficult and testing prior to meeting Mr Muglu is an understatement. I decided to try one more time and hopefully someone would take my symptoms seriously. And I am glad I did, as I was blessed with meeting Mr Muglu. From day one, Mr Muglu listened to me when I began to give up hope in finding anyone who would, he took my symptoms seriously, was respectful, made me feel at ease as it was clear he is an expert in his field, was extremely professional and approachable. I also could see that he cares for his work and his patients which is reflective in his results. He is the very definition of excellence within his field and I will only be seeing Mr Muglu in the future where I need a gynecologist. I was really please with the quality of service at Medneo Great Portlane Street and the speed at which I got my results. The medics seemed very professional and made me feel calm. I wish I'd used the service sooner as before getting a private MRI which I paid for myself I had had a number of physio treatments and exercise plans which may my injury worse due to them not knowing what was actually wrong. They were working blind as it were. And the NHS wouldn't put me on a waiting list for a MRI through them. I got a 3T scan which I believe shows a bit more than a 1.5 scanner which cast me £299. If you can afford it it might be the right choice for you. I would definitely go to these people to have a scan again if I develop another injury.

When I was recommended the Life Plus infusion I was shown a price list of 280 for members & 310 for non members & I agreed to proceed . When I paid I was charged 350 and told the price list I had been shown was an old one . The manager offered me £80 credit on any further treatment. Upon reflection I feel I should have been given the £40 reduction today . I also had to endure a neighbour listening to her phone message on loud speaker, when I asked her to use headphones she moved but proceeded to use her phone more quietly which was ok but not great .

I’d definitely recommend your clinic but was a little disappointed today by the lack of sympathy from the sonographers when I went for my 6 week 4 day scan. I explained that the pregnancy wasn’t viable (I’d had a blood test at your clinic on Saturday and learn by HCG only increased 8% in 48 hrs) and this would be my third miscarriage in 12 months from my IVF pregnancies and I didn’t receive any shock or sympathy for this. It wasn’t a big deal but if the practice wants to be even better some additional warmth and sympathy would go a long way.

I had a knee replacement and had a reaction to the anaesthetic which resulted in me having to spend several days in bed vomiting copiously. The staff were so supportive and caring; the nurses couldn’t help enough, the porters, physios, catering staff and cleaning crew were good natured , helpful and thorough. Since arriving home I have had numerous phone conversations with Horder staff, who have been reassuring and helpful with my recovery.

Waiting over 60 minutes for an appointment that you schedule and pay for is quite poor. The excuse I got is gynaecologist appointments take longer. Okay, then play’ 30-60 mins between slots to allow for adequate timing. I had to get out of work and work the extra time that had I been offered the actual appointment time I wouldn’t have had to do that. Change your gynaecologist appointments calendar please

I received shoulder surgery and was able to be discharged the same day. All of the nursing staff were friendly and informative, the physio treatment and advice was informative. All the staff I came across were very friendly. I especially enjoyed the roast dinner which was hot when served (a new experience). I would highly recommend Mr Khan and the London Independent hospital.
