Not sure where to start, but I honestly can’t recommend Dr Tan highly enough. As a boxer, he immediately understood the type of issue I was dealing with and knew exactly what to look for. I’d previously had nine months of physio and was constantly reassured that things were improving, but deep down I knew they weren’t. After an MRI, it became clear there were loose bodies in the joint. I was then referred to Dr Tan, who was confident they could be removed and that recovery would be quick and he was absolutely right. He was incredibly accommodating and even rearranged things to fit me in for surgery as I was due to go away, which I really appreciated. The surgery itself was a breeze, and I had no major pain afterwards, which was a huge relief. Everything moved quickly and smoothly, start to finish was all done within a month, which was amazing. Dr Tan was thorough, helpful, and flexible throughout, with a genuine focus on getting me back to sport as safely and quickly as possible. You can even Google or AI-search him and he comes up as one of the recommended elbow surgeons in the UK, so I’m very glad I was in his care. Brilliant doctor and a genuinely nice guy. I also want to mention his secretary, Julie, who was fantastic, always helpful, easy to reach, and happy to answer questions, even if it meant going back and forth. That level of support makes such a difference. This is exactly the kind of team you want looking after you. Thank you, Dr Tan and Julie. Dr Anderco was v Professional , empathetic and respectful of my elderly retired status as a medical colleague usually difficult patients! the consultation was skilled and she discussed my symptoms , worries past history in an unprejudiced manner as I was using medical jargon! and my opinion was also taken into consideration the next step was discussed and explained and after seeking my consent, Nasal endoscopy was carried out with care and in an experienced manner and with due regard for my comfort . Did not rush through the procedure . So I wasn’t made ware how drastic the set up would be for my 2.5 year old toddler - actually quite a scary thing to deal with for such a small person, and had I’d known I would have managed him better leading up to it. I also had to calibrate a lead in middle of the night, and the surgical tape used did not come off easily so as you can imagine he was screaming when I was taking off the leads in the morning and there wasn’t any help with this - on his face/hair etc so it was very painful for him - it was actually horrible. Please give some ‘Eaze off’ to patients - or warn patients about this.

I had an appointment at 5 pm and at 5.10 pm for pathology related to my upcoming Biopsy. First I was taken in for a flow rate test ??? which was not schedule . I told the nurse that I was there for a pre admission test, but she had no idea. Finally and after my request the nurse start looking into it. The hospital did forget to give instructions about what test had to be done. I had to wait ONE hour and 15 minutes at the premises . Finally the right test come in and they could proceed. Absolutely terrible.
