My appointment with Dr Madrigal was a breath of fresh air! I've seen more than my fair share of specialists due to complex chronic illness, and I can confidently say that Dr Madrigal is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. I came to him with the hope that he may be able to unpack a suspected misdiagnosis that has weighed on me for 9 years, significantly impacting my quality of life both in the uncontrolled symptoms and management strategies. Safe to say, he exceeded my expectations. He patiently listened, asked clear and thoughtful questions, and exuded a warmth with genuine care and concern (a trait that is sadly not as common as you'd hope among doctors, at least in my experience). He explained the misdiagnosis clearly, what he thinks I may be experiencing instead, and how we can move forward to diagnose / treat it. I didn't feel rushed at all, and it was abundantly clear he wanted to do his best to help me. That care extended to his clinic letter too. Dr Madrigal's letter was easily the best clinic letter I've had from any consultant. Even for bits I found myself struggling to articulate in the appointment, he somehow managed to make sense of it and report it accurately - proving just how deeply he listened to me. His admin team are also amazing, even checking in to make sure I knew what to do next. I truly left that appointment more hopeful than I've felt in YEARS: like I finally may be on the right path to get my life back. All because a highly knowledgeable and kind consultant took the time to compassionately listen. Overall, I would highly recommend Dr Madrigal to everyone I can, and I feel blessed that I was able to see him.

Three weeks ago I had a malignant tumour removed from the pleura of the lung. It was localised epithelioid mesothelioma. The thoracic surgeon suggested I should see Doctor Shah. Doctor Shah was excellent at explaining things, pointing out the more important aspects of the various scans, explaining what had been achieved by the surgery, and what the possible routes forward were. I am a pretty demanding patient in my level of expectation, but he surpassed all expectations. He took so much time to answer a whole range of my questions, and he has a fantastic way of simplifying complex things, and communicating concisely. At the same time he was very understanding of my 'nervouseness/worry/stress'. He gave me a really good feel of possible outcomes, looking forward, likely risks, and possible treatments. We had a discussion, but I felt he really helped me understand, and listened incredibly well. In summary, an excellent consultant to have alongside you.

After completing an in-depth form online the consultation took approximately 1.25 mins.the form helped with the structure of the online video call and Rebecca asked me many questions from my responses to build a picture. Not just giving me a diagnosis and suggested medication but looking at my own views life style and other relevant elements. She was extremely knowledgeable and guided me through my hormonal and physical journey of pre and post menopausal experiences and symptoms. Everything was covered with some helpful suggestions, tests she recommended free from my GP and suggested a bone density scan even supplying links to various professionals. Every women going through menopause should speak with someone at the women’s hormonal clinic! You will be in expert and safe hands! I wish I had contacted her years ago at the start of my peri menopausal journey. Don’t hesitate this is such an important step in supporting your physical body.

Dana is incredible. I have now seen her in relation to two pregnancies, one which ended in a miscarriage, and one which gave me my beautiful baby boy. After a history of serious and complex medical issues and related anxiety, I needed to find an obstetrician who could provide both quality and comforting care suited to my needs - Dana provided both in spades. I was hugely appreciative of Dana’s kind and comforting care throughout both pregnancies. She cares so much for her patients and really goes above and beyond in all respects. She is also an excellent and thorough communicator, such that you feel well informed throughout her care, which was important to me to manage some of my anxieties. I can’t imagine having a baby with any other consultant.

Over the past few years I have seen Mr Shah on numerous occasions.Intially for an assessment , then intra articular steroid injections into both hips.Finally a total hip replacement for both hips .The first one in March 2025 , the second in August 2025 . On every occasion Mr Shah has been courteous and understanding.He has taken the time to explain everything.His diagnosis and prognosis has been spot on every time . I am not 14 weeks post second hip replacement .The procedures have been a success and life changing ! I can not thank Mr Shah enough for turning back the years on my life !

I was referred to Mr Dowen for total hip replacement surgery and I am so pleased I was. Mr Dowen is an excellent surgeon who I feel, goes that extra mile to ensure the outcome was the best it could be. The surgery was a total success and because I have other issues relating to my back and not connected to my hip surgery, Mr Dowen is keeping my file open to refer me to a spine consultant in the future, should I require further intervention. I cannot speak more highly of Mr Dowen and would not hesitate to recommend his first class skills. Thank you for giving me my life back.

Receptionist who is on always makes my son feel welcome and allows him to speak comfortably and puts him at ease. dr Amrita is amazing with my son and I don’t know how she manages to make it look so easy when I know it definitely is not and my son gets extreme anxiety at times. She really is good with children especially with autism and makes them feel empowered and in control and does not pressurise when not needed. Happy kids set up in the only dentist my son will allow to see now. We travel quite far for appointments but it is worth it thank goodness for happy kids.

Matt is a great listener and devised a personal physio plan for me to help with two MSK problems. The exercises have been really helpful and effective allowing me to return to the lifestyle that I enjoy in a fairly short period of time. Booking an appointment is online but changing and cancellation is easy. There is an assessment consultation and follow up after a suitable period of time. As soon as you are able to "go it alone" Matt will discharge you with an open return. All in all an experience that I can highly recommend for recalcitrant MSK problems.

Really happy with my treatment approach at Core LDN. The space is lovely and Laura is accommodating when I was running late once which really helped me out so thank you. There is parking nearby although extra restrictions mid morning so something to be aware of but it's great to have a free parking option nearby at all in London!
