About Dr Henry Seligman
Dr Henry Seligman is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist. He is currently based at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Dr Seligman completed his undergraduate medical degree at University College London, qualifying in 2011, having previously obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of Oxford. He undertook his early postgraduate training through foundation and core medical training posts at Southend University Hospital, Homerton University Hospital, and Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust.
He completed specialist cardiology training as a registrar across several major centres, including Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, Hammersmith Hospital, Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals, and West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. During this time, he undertook advanced fellowship training in interventional cardiology, including coronary and structural heart intervention.
Alongside his clinical training, Dr Seligman completed doctoral research at Imperial College London, where he was awarded an MD following several years of full-time research. His clinical practice focuses on interventional cardiology, including the assessment and management of coronary artery disease and the delivery of catheter-based cardiac procedures.

Dr Seligman had an excellent way of communicating. He was professional and attentive and really put my mum at ease. He carefully explained what was happening, which was helpful as mum has dementia.
Dr Henry Seligman ,has fantasic manner and explains my treatments and future process in a way that relaxes me and makes me see clearly how we are doing .
Dr Seligman took time to explain carefully the results of the various diagnostic tests I had had and to show me & talk me through the different scans. I felt he listened carefully to my concerns and took them seriously. I left feeling reassured both as to the results of the tests & his opinion, and as to the plan to monitor my health going forward.
Dr Seligman, is incredibly professional,personable and provided clear, concise information on my cardiac issues. Most importantly he was able to put a very anxious patient at ease! No doubt he is a great asset to your organisation.
The visit was informative, very helpful and also encouraging. He explained the results in detail and provided useful advice.
