I saw Mr Al-Ibaidi with a knee issue, he was excellent, listen to my issue, came up with a plan of action. That we agreed on and I was very pleased with the interaction.

Very approachable and answered my questions clearly

The whole process was efficient and professionally carried out. Explanations of what to expect were comprehensive and I felt that any queries I had, or would have, were answered sympathetically. I was particularly grateful that the importance of exercises both before and after the operation was communicated to me strongly. The anaesthetist was very professional and put me at my ease; so much so that I did not see Mr Bilal Al-Obaidi until I was back in my room complete with a new knee! The nursing care was very good, king and attentive. I have been grateful for the physiotherapy sessions, led by a professional and caring team.

I have been under the care of Dr Alobaidi at Bishop’s Wood for approximately 18 months to two years, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Throughout this time, Dr Alobaidi has consistently demonstrated exceptional professionalism, knowledge, and compassion. He takes the time to listen carefully, answers questions thoroughly, and explains medical matters clearly, ensuring that I feel informed, understood, and reassured at every stage of my care. Very helpful in explaining what has happened to my left knee at what he can do to fix my right knee. Felt very confident about what he said.

The knee works smoothly but the bend is restricted due to the tightness of the scar which is still hot. My foot remains turned out to a lesser extent than pre-op. I did not like the use of staples as they were painful and caused bleeding when they were removed. I wonder if this was the reason for the formation of scar tissue and the resultant restricted bend. The consultant showed me the before and after x-rays which I found very interesting. He said that he was satisfied with the bend I had and that this would improve further if I continued to exercise. We also discussed the back/buttock pain I am experiencing which seems to be due to poor hip rotation and muscle weakness on one side. He agreed that I should follow a program of bi-mechanic exercises being prepared to resolve this.

I was fortunate enough to be treated by Dr AL-Obidai after years of suffering with pain. He managed on our first meeting to give me all relevant information that helped me to make informed decision. He was reassuring but realistic. I went through the procedure exactly like he described. Thanks to him I am pain free.
