On visiting consultant Subhajit Ghosh a prescription was given to the nurse to be ordered for my next appointment as it was something that was not kept in stock at OSD. I needed to check my diary to see if I could make this next appointment at OSD Healthcare in Hemel Hempstead to have the prescription or, see the consultant at Spire Hospital on another day. On checking my diary I found I could make it and I phoned and arranged an appointment with Subhajit Ghosh. Unfortunately, the prescription had not been ordered so when I turned up for my next appointment I was unable to have my treatment and I would have to see him again another time. I appreciate mix ups happen but thought OSD Healthcare should check their procedures in instances such as this, so that prescriptions are ordered once patients have confirmed they can make future appointments.

I cannot recommend Mr John Pereira highly enough. From the initial consultation through to post-operative care, I felt completely listened to, reassured, and in expert hands. Dec 15 2025 , 6 months after ankle fusion . I was dreading the operation it’s about 2 hours long I didn’t feel a thing I opted for a epidural the operation went well , the recovery isn’t easy boot for 3 months and then gradual weight bare , yes at the beginning it’s sore my fault I don’t do pain killers , I opted for a knee scooter to get around (brilliant) after about 14 weeks I could walk around carefully I did everything by the book and now 6 months on my pain is gone ,I mcan walk about 2miles easily per day . Before the operation I didn’t want to do anything I just wanted to get where ever and sit down as I was in such discomfort for me it was the best decision I have ever made . I have recently undergone a long course of treatment which included several fillings, and one that ended up needing to a root canal treatment resulting in a crown thereafter. Being a fairly anxious dental patient i was a bit stressed but really didnt need to be as all went well. Staff were friendly and helpful and on the odd occasion that appointents ran late they would communicate this well. Levi my dentist was very calm and professional through all my appointments and put my ease.

Vast majority of the people were super friendly and made my hospital stay very comfortable. Hospital was clean and everyone was extremely professional. I did get the feeling though that you get rushed a bit when it gets to recovery and need to get going post-surgery which is not ideal as sometimes you are just not feeling fit enough or ready to go home straight away, especially after general anaesthesia. Overall extremely positive experience.
