I recently underwent a mini tummy tuck procedure with Jane Kirby after years of being very self conscious with the appearance of my lower belly. After my first consultation with Jane I knew that she was the right surgeon for me, she was very professional, personable and her excellent bedside manner made me feel at ease. Jane took the time to listened to my concerns and what I hoped to achieve with surgery as well as explaining the procedure at length with realistic and achievable outcomes. Pre and postoperative instructions were discussed in length about what to expect on the day of the surgery and what the healing and recovery process would involve. Jane also kindly send me recommendations of post operative clothing which would help aid with my recovery. The day of the surgery I was looked after by an amazing team and the surgery went very well, I was definitely in the best hands with Jane as my surgeon. The post operative care was outstanding, Jane would check in daily for the first 3 days and then weekly from then as well as face to face appointments, I knew that if I had any questions or concerns Jane would definitely be there if needed. My recovery went well, with minimal pain and discomfort. I strictly followed the post operative advice given - sleeping in the correct position, wearing my binder provided and compression shorts, this definitely helped my recovery go as smooth as possible. I am now 9 weeks post surgery and the results have exceeded my expectations, Jane is a very skilled surgeon and my scar is so neat and flat, my lower tummy is flatter and firmer. Jane is such a warm, friendly person and a very professional, knowledgeable skilled surgeon. Jane has given me my confidence back and I cannot thank her enough. If anyone is thinking of having any plastic or cosmetic surgery I can not recommend her enough, she is an absolute credit to the medical profession.

I travelled by car from the north west to the Kingsbridge Diagnostic Centre, tucked in behind the Kings Hall. Parking was difficult to find, and as the letter instructed me to arrive 15 minutes early, I anxiously clambered out, leaving my husband to park the car while I located the building and the correct floor. The reception staff were mediocre at best, though I did manage to get checked in. Once called through, the procedure itself was completed and an outcome provided. However, the consultant was abrupt and condescending. While I appreciate that private healthcare is under pressure due to NHS waiting times, this is not the standard of service I would expect for something I am paying for. The assistant involved in the process appeared either tired or lacking job satisfaction in their role. Altogether, the atmosphere was dispiriting, and I could not wait to leave the building and be on my way.

Made contact with the Spire and was offered an appointment within days with Dr Hodge. He was kind, thorough, knowledgeable and reassuring. He took a detailed history of our 8 month old, carried out skin prick tests for various allergens, provided advice on the milk and soya ladders, assessed our baby’s eczema and referred us to his dietician contact. We had our baby’s peanut allergy confirmed and were provided with an action plan for this. Would highly recommend to anyone on the weaning journey, whose baby has had an allergic reaction, which has caused them worry about introducing other allergens. Thank you, Dr Hodge.

My experience with Mr Goswami is outstanding. Mr Goswami is a true professional, emphatic and an amazing surgeon. This is now my second operation with Mr Goswami and as a very nervous patient- it was a relief knowing he was the surgeon. The aftercare is excellent with Mr Goswami and the nurses. The anesthetist and nurse who gave me my General Anesthetic were the best professionals at hand since they helped me get through the operation since I had a little melt down before the op. I would very highly recommend the Clayton ward. We have had two babies there and were really well looked after by kind, happy staff (doctors, midwives, assistants, catering and reception) who taught us a huge amount about how to care for a newborn. Having access to 121 support from midwives anytime day or night is just invaluable. The food was very good (for hospital food) and we genuinely looked forward to it each day - it really helped us recover as sleep deprived parents.

Dr Chaudhry has been attentive and has given me explanation to why my symptoms are such or at least differential diagnosis for it and has been able to give options for treatment where no other specialist has been able to help me with. His knowldge and his mannerism made me felt heard and gives me something to look forward to in life and that I can achieve a pain free life eventually where I had lost hope at one time.

Booked a growth scan however felt that Dr Deepa Rajan rushed through the appointment. We didn’t get to see our baby properly on screen - nor did Dr Deepa bother trying to capture full photos of our baby. Appointment was over in 5 minutes. It’s a shame as I’ve booked several scans with the clinic previously and always felt that the Doctors provided excellent service up until today’s visit.

Lovely place. It felt calm and reassuring as soon as you walk into reception. Greeted with a smile at reception and this continued throughout the whole process from the lady who provided tea, the nurses, the anaesthetist and the porter. Everyone went out of their way to be helpful and positive with a splash of humour inserted. Thank you
