My consultant Hugh O’Kane was so lovely excellent communication skills empathy and he listened to me , which some consultants would need to have a refresher course on dealing with patients. The anaesthetist ( sorry i can’t remember his name an Indian gentleman again so lovely) and the nurses in theatre were all very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the sedation was not great effect but got through. Recovery nurse Alex’s was very attentive & had a very caring way . Transferred to ward 3 Bernadette the nurse and Sinead & Sarah ( hopefully I have the correct names) all excellent A really lovely friendly member of the catering team Gillian came to see if I would like something to eat at that time I did not , but she Came k later to check & made the most delicious toasted sandwich. I had buzzed for the nurse as I was in a lot of pain behind my left knee she gave me liquid paracetamol, the pain got worse i asked for the compression stocking to be removed, the problem was that the stocking had not been pulled up straight and therefore it had “ marked my ankle very deeply “ with the result that the circulation would have been effected. My leg felt “Dead or asleep “ I felt afraid but the staff where lovely, Hugh came to see me around 8.30 pm had a conversation with my son in England and the plan was to stay (but before this they where happy to let me go home Kelly the manager came to speak to me as this was no fault of mine they I asked “in a scenario such as mine was there not a plan B in place “ to which she responded “0 yes and a plan b c & d “ ) So thankfully the outcome was resolved, I was to stay Hugh would see me in the morning. The night staff Keira & a girl called you I’m think the other health care assistant was Sharon hopefully this is correct but all excellent care. Hugh came in to see me just after 7am very attentive,examined my leg, I said that the pain was not as severe as the night before & I was happy to go home, “to which he replied if your happy so am I “ ( if only more consultants had his way ) he said I was not to worry re the financial situation re the over night stay Over all I am glad that we resolved the situation.

It was a pleasure to meet with Matt Wright again following our consultations and procedures in 2019 and before, when he cured my atrial fibrillation. Thanks to his specialist care, I have been able to successfully carry on running my antique business from my gallery in Pimlico.. Accordingly, it was very reassuring to discover that he had recognised my name after my recent visit to A and E at St Thomases and had been advising on further tests and treatment following the analysis of my seven day monitor. Having explained to him that I had stopped taking the prescribed Bisoprolol 2.5 mg after three days, as it very quickly took my blood pressure down to 50, he recommended that I re-start on 1.25 mg. This reduction appears to have so far done the trick, as my pulse has dropped to mid 60s which is bearable. In conclusion I am so relieved to once again know that Matt is keeping an eye on me and that his ear is available should I need reassurance.

I have been receiving treatment following ACL reconstruction (with LET and meniscus repair), and I am genuinely impressed with the level of care and professionalism I have experienced. His encouragement and attention to detail have made a noticeable difference in my recovery and my confidence. During one of my session, Lee even took me to the gym and guided me through three leg machines, explaining how this next stage will help me progress. His support and reassurance that I’ll start seeing big improvements mean a lot to me. I truly appreciate the time, patience, and expertise he brings to every session. I feel well supported and motivated, and I am very grateful for the high-quality care he provides. I am very much looking forward to continuing my recovery with Lee.

I loved the day staff. Ikram and Sennecca treated me with such kindness and so much support. I unfortunately was discharged after a week as I have other issues that need addressing before I am able to continue the treatment. The night staff in my experience have not been very attentive to my distress. As nights are the hardest time for me this was quite a big issue for me. Dr Veale is great and really knows what he is talking about. The rooms feel like a hotel and the program is scary but excellent here. Food is another issue for me and the kitchen are very accommodating to needs but the general menu is very eclectic. Overall I would say this is a very good hospital and I've seen patients with real change here.

I had micro-TESE surgery with Mr Alnajjar and the entire experience was exceptional. He successfully retrieved sperm for us, which has now given us the chance to move forward with IVF next year. What stood out most was how personal and reassuring his approach was. We had met him a few times before the procedure and he always made both me and my wife feel calm, confident, and fully informed. The follow-up care has been outstanding — nothing felt rushed, and every question was answered clearly. His PA and the communication throughout have also been first-class. A genuinely brilliant surgeon and a top professional. Highly recommended.

Total left hip replacement about 18 months after a total right one. No messing around with this one. Mr Joseph asked at the consult what I wanted i.e. THR or trying other things and was happy to go straight to the THR. Communicated with me directly rather than through a secretary which frankly saved some hassle. The physio support pre and post op has been fantastic. Had a great result with my right hip but I would go so far as to say my left has been ever better - 7 weeks after my op and I'm actually having to complete more physio on the right hip so it can catch up to the left. I can highly recommend the whole team.

My first appointment was cancelled by the clinic this was after telling me to pay the fee upfront and re booked two weeks later. I arrived on time for my appointment and was told there would be a delay again. After waiting for sometime I asked the staff to find out what the delay was I was then seen by the clinician half an hour later. My experience with the clinician I felt was not worth the fee. I was not examined correctly I was not given any advice as to how to deal with the issue and the letter I received afterwards was not very accurate or informative. So I would not go back again or recommend.

We went to see Mr Valsamakis about our newborns tongue tie. He was welcoming, friendly and professional. He talked us through our options and was gentle and caring with our newborn. When we decided to go ahead with divided the tongue tie he was made the procedure as painless and gentle as possible. He made sure we had a room to feed afterwards and came to check on us - I got the impression he genuinely carded about us and our newborn.

Booked a growth scan however felt that Dr Deepa Rajan rushed through the appointment. We didn’t get to see our baby properly on screen - nor did Dr Deepa bother trying to capture full photos of our baby. Appointment was over in 5 minutes. It’s a shame as I’ve booked several scans with the clinic previously and always felt that the Doctors provided excellent service up until today’s visit.
