The appointment with the specialist gastroenterologist and blood test, reception, bookings etc was fine, no wait, quick, efficient and friendly. All very good. The MRI was another story. I have shared my feedback with the experience team. See below. How are your staff performing procedures on patients trained? The team I was handed over looked more like students under training with no supervision, it was scary to be left alone with them for an MRI. Are you cutting costs so that no doctors are available on the day of my procedure? I have been better taken care of by the NHS ! I have just had the worst experience for what should have been a simple MRI procedure. The team I was handed to were unable to find a suitable vein to perform the dye injection. They tried several times, I asked to call someone else to try, the man who arrived didn't manage either and it was even more painful, they ended up harming both my arms. There were no doctors available. I insisted to see one. They said we could maybe do the MRI without the dye solution injected in my arms. They asked me what I wanted to do?! I replied I was not a doctor and the decision was not with me as I have no idea what it involves. Finally after waiting for over 20mins in a freezing room, with just a light layer to cover me, a doctor arrived. He said we shouldn't do an MRI without injecting the dye solution. Eventually he managed to do the needle procedure very well and easily and it was not painful at all. He left straight after. The MRI happened but no explanation was given to me by the team, who looked more like "in learning students with no supervision", I just prayed they actually knew what they were doing but I was very doubtful... no feedback on how it went, how long left during the MRI, when the results would be coming etc. I had MRIs with HCA in the past, a totally different experience. Doctors seem to be good at Cleveland but the staff I met yesterday was undertrained and there is obviously a management / administration problem. NHS does better on some instances. We pay a fortune for these types of clinics, this is shocking. I will never trust this place for any further procedures handling my health and body.

There are too many to name individually, but every single person played a role in making this experience extraordinary. The hospital itself does not feel like a hospital at all — it feels more like a health retreat where you leave as a better version of yourself. The environment, the warmth, and the standard of care are truly exceptional. For anyone suffering from sleep apnea, as I was, or dealing with any of the conditions treated by your specialists, I could not recommend HSSH and Mr Luke Cascarini more highly. Wow, what an amazing place with a holistic approach to recovery. Far from previous experiences that simply provide a detox and a few tools tacked on the end. Delamere provides any willing individual the opportunity to explore yourself and a way of life that can truly bring balance and happiness. The food was excellent, home cooked with minimal processed food, probably only the tofu as the vegetarian option was processed, along with bacon and sausage for breakfast. Chefs were very approachable and friendly, even gained some advice on what to cook at home. The overall environment was clean, tidy and well maintained. The liaison team were excellent and always on hand to support and guide when needed.The nursing team were also superb, always there to answer any medical questions in a compassionate way. The mentors provided clear direction without judgement or bias. My therapist was second to none and created a safe environment for me to discover myself, while always being there to catch me when I stumbled. All in all a life changing experience. I have left with a solid toolset and aftercare package that will steer me through a joyful life with my friends and family. Only negative was the insane temperature in the bedrooms…..bring some cool PJs.

This is my first consultation at Rookery Healthcare and I cannot thank Doctor Balerdi enough. Having been 6 months feeling extremely unwell and getting nowhere with the NHS, I contacted Rookery Health and with just one consultation I feel safe that I will be receiving the service which will hopefully put me back to good health. The office is in a good location plenty of parking and the venue is a modern business centre. The office is comfortable and Dr Balerdi and his secretary were very welcoming and put me at ease. I feel the information that was given to me was constructive and I am confident that this will be the way forward. I have since sent communication to Doctor Bederdi and it was answered immediately no long wait for Drs appointments such as our local surgery. The service is excellent and I can highly recommend Rookery Health Care.

I had a consultation with Mr Giles Bond Smith regarding a tricky hernia that had already been repaired once by another surgeon and had failed. Mr Bond Smith gave me very useful information about what all my options were, which were not biased towards him carrying out the surgery. I came away feeling very reassured, and the anxiety around not being sure what the best course of action would be were dispelled during the consultation. I’m very pleased that I met this kind, thoughtful and very humane doctor

Couldn't praise Mr Tang anymore. From the moment I met him, kind, knowledgeable, calm, and I felt at ease even though I ripped my bicep less than a day before meeting him and was in a serious amount of pain. There wasn't a question he couldn't answer, and the surgery was as painless as it could have been. He did say he has never seen a bicep recover so quickly, which I am very proud of; however, I think that was more him than me. Thank you again.

I was very apprehensive about my carpal tunnel surgery after many people advised against it having had same surgery beforehand. Dr Shan reassure me each person is different and if you do not do exercises then results can be poor.. I'm so happy I did have it done despite initial pain. Was overnight stay at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, all staff were very polite and courteous to myself and the other 5 people within the ward during my stay. The team were very attentive to each individuals needs, which made for a pleasant stay. Facilities were clean and if any ‘accidents’ occurred then these were addressed immediately to promote cleanliness in the ward

Royal mail consistently mess up on deliveries especially on my area, and it's impossible to get through to customers service (which is non-existent really at Royal Mail).
