Dr Stott supported me in the assisted vaginal delivery of my baby girl at Fitzrovia Suite, UCLH. I could have not been more happy to have chosen him as my consultant. I had hoped for a natural delivery at full term, but had some slight complications which meant that was not possible. Despite this, thanks to Dr Stott both my baby and I did very well, and I look back at her birth process as a very positive experience. Dr Stott has sound judgement when it comes to clinical decisions. He is calm and clear at communicating and explaining the reasoning behind his recommendations in easily accessible terms. And he was excellent at the delivery process itself. Due to gestational diabetes I was recommended to have an early induction. Dr Stott explained the process and its benefits in detail, so I felt prepared on the day. My baby was very small, and during the final stage of labour she became distressed. Dr Stott suggested a vacuum assisted delivery to speed things up, knowing I wanted to avoid a C section if possible. Despite the urgency, he remained calm and made sure I understood what was happening throughout the process and I felt entirely confident in his recommendation. The outcome was great - despite an episiotomy I was able to move straight away, have not had any discomfort and all the midwives who visited me have been commenting on how well the stitches were done; despite the stress she was under my daughter was well, and her head looked completely normal from the outset. I feel very lucky to have had Dr Stott support me through this all, and I do genuinely believe that having him as my consultant made a huge difference on the outcome and how satisfied I was with the birth experience.

I saw my dentist and hygienist. My dentist, Mrs Patel, gave a very thorough examination for a 6 monthly check., which was easy and painless. . An ex ray followed , which was also painless. Mrs Patel is a highly experienced dentist, who works with precision and care, which gives me great confidence in whatever task she undertakes, on my teeth. Martyna is a highly skilled Hygienist, She is well prepared for my visits, having read the notes from Mrs Patel. They work together as an excellent team. The treatment is always efficient and painless. I’m always pleased to leave I with stunning and shining teeth. This is a truly excellent service. I had been to another ear wax removal specialist a few days earlier who had failed to unblock my ears after half an hour of trying. I have a particular shape of ear canal that causes the wax to sit stubbornly on the ear drum. Rekesh is very personable and knowledgable and has a lovely comfortable treatment room. Within a few minutes he had completely unblocked both my ears, almost effortlessly. I was delighted and I highly recommend this service.

I received shoulder surgery and was able to be discharged the same day. All of the nursing staff were friendly and informative, the physio treatment and advice was informative. All the staff I came across were very friendly. I especially enjoyed the roast dinner which was hot when served (a new experience). I would highly recommend Mr Khan and the London Independent hospital.
