I had an incredibly positive experience at Delamere and I’m very grateful for my time there which has been transformative. The programme is extremely well structured and thoughtfully designed - a really well-rounded mix of therapy, group work, education and peer support. The staff are kind, dedicated and create a safe, supportive environment where real change feels possible. I want to give special thanks to Mark, my therapist, and Gary, my mentor. Their honesty and approach made a huge difference to my recovery. I felt seen, challenged in the right ways, and supported to build real clarity and confidence. I made meaningful progress and left feeling stronger, clearer and had regained hope for the future. The only area I feel could be improved is the level of psychiatric support. During my stay, patients were offered one 15-minute appointment with the psychiatrist, which felt brief especially for those with more complex mental health needs. I would have valued more collaboration and communication around medication decisions. Strengthening this aspect of care would make an already excellent programme even better. Overall, I’m extremely thankful for my time at Delamere and would definitely recommend the centre to others seeking recovery support.

I had surgery on my hip as a small child due to severe dysplasia and have lived with restricted movement my whole life. The fantastic surgeon at RNOH at the time created a hip that functioned very well for me for many years but pain and limitations were the normal day to day. I had delayed getting my hip replaced for decades, wanting to wait as long as possible as I was young but after seeing Mr Newman and discussing a Mako hip replacement I felt confident that he would be able to improve what I had. At the consultation he was clear, honest and made me feel more relaxed about the procedure. On surgery day he was reassuring and I was very happy for him to carry out the surgery. He followed up with visits every day I that was in hospital. The results have been better than I had imagined. He has been able to give me, not only a functioning hip but has even improved the external appearance of it. I’m very grateful for his expertise and couldn’t be happier with the results. At my follow up appointments Mr Newman patiently answered all my questions with honesty and knowledge and made me feel very welcome to contact him in the future with any concerns. I would be hesitate to recommend him as an excellent hip surgeon.

My first appointment was arranged within a week. After my appointment I was offered surgery in exactly one more week. Everything was great, lovely facilities, lovely staff. Everyone was very friendly and constantly being offered coffee etc. On every occasion I was taken either on time or early. I was put at ease and everything was fully explained and what the best lenses for me would be, based on my history and interests. On the day of surgery, everything went fine and there was no pain whatsoever, merely a strange feeling as the surgeon did his stuff. Afterwards I was given advice re eye drops and aftercare and again all great. Everything was fine when I got home, merely discomfort and that soon passed. I had plenty of people checking and following up that all was well. Finally, I had a follow up visit after a few weeks and again everything was great and very professional and I was advised to see my optician and GP. Throughout my time, the service I received was first class.

I arrived circa 15min before my appointment time as requested and was greeted courteously by the reception staff before being lead to an examination room to undergo a basic check of my eyesight and health check/questionnaire. On retuning to the waiting area I was almost immediately greeted by Mr Bhargava. The consolation was just 5min after the appointment time, which is excellent. The consultation was thorough and very professional, Mr Bhargava has a very good manner and following questioning and examination explained all the parameters relevant to my condition. Mr Bhargava then went on to detail treatment and advice in a concise but detailed way covering all aspects very well. I left feeling that the visit was well worthwhile and that I had been treated well in all aspects of the consolation. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Bhargava to friends and colleagues.

Mr Erotocritou is a very friendly consultant, who made me feel very at ease and reassured that he will help me. He was very clear in his explanations and covered all bases in investigating my issues. I didn't feel rushed in the consultants and he actually listened to me and took the time to answer all my questions. I felt he looked at me as a valued person rather than another patient. I am very happy with my consultations and tests taken. Thankfully I do not need further investigations or treatment, but I would definitely go back to Mr Erotocritou if I needed to in the future. He was easy to understand and calm, someone you could tell about your difficulties. I felt very understood and nothing was too difficult to talk about.

From the moment I arrived at reception until I left at the end of my assessment I was treated really well. Reception staff were really friendly and respectful and explained the paperwork to be completed and assured me that the wait would not be too long. I was called within 5 minutes by the first nurse who carried out all the necessary basic checks explaining everything really clearly. She then sent me back to the waiting area until the doctors were ready to do the final assessment again I only waited about 5 minutes before I was called to the examination room. The doctor explained really clearly what all the tests were for and what would happen when the procedure was to be done. A very pleasant experience from start to finish

This was a very positive visit. Dr Hardy is friendly and kind and really put me at ease. She listened to the symptoms I had been having and provided explanations for them in a jargon-free and understandable way. She then developed a management plan that she carefully explained. I was nervous about this appointment as it is not easy discussing very sensitive and personal symptoms. However Dr Hardy has a lovely bedside manner which made it really easy to be open about the symptoms I was having. I came away from the appointment feeling listened to, with my symptoms acknowledged and feeling positive about the therapies that she had suggested. I can highly recommend Dr Hardy.

From the very beginning, they made sure my symptoms were truly listened to and thoroughly investigated, which made a huge difference to my experience. Dr Hoey saw our son for his ongoing eczema and was excellent throughout the appointment. She was very knowledgeable and took the time to clearly explain the different creams and ointments available, along with clear instructions on how and when to apply them. She also gave us helpful advice for our son’s nursery on how they can support his skin care. Dr Hoey was friendly and engaging with our young son, which helped her quickly build rapport and assess him with ease. We left the appointment feeling reassured and with a clear treatment plan. Dr Shalabi was calm and caring. He listened to my symptoms, looked into them further than anyone had ever done, and suggested some treatment options based on the test results. After years of being told my symptoms were "just IBS and all the results were within normal range", he suggested some additional tests and a subsequent treatment plan which has genuinely changed my quality of life. Dr Shalabi seemed to look at the symptoms and the data in conjunction, which seems to be a novel idea. I can not thank him enough.

Great to see the Dr who did the job. As with all doctors I’ve seen they don’t read my notes in detail before speaking to me which I find a little bit frustrating. I’m on the ball though with my medical history & medications & actions that have been taken so I can talk about my treatments in an informed way. Any questions are ensure are answered clear in a manner that I can understand. All in all the doctor cared to a point but get the impression they are spread thinly across the NHS.

All nurses and staff I came across and who took care of me were really kind and friendly. My allocated nurse and physiotherapist were really nice and explained everything I needed to know in terms of medications and post-operative recovery. Overall, I had a fantastic experience!
