I received warm, well informed professional attention throughout my care at St Anthony's Hospital; from outpatients through to discharge. The room was clean, well heated and ventilated, equipment checked and the armchairs comfortable. The unit was quiet. Nursing staff answered call bells promptly and with kindness and a smile. No request was considered a problem. Their level of knowledge and professionalism was excellent along with the standard of care. Physiotherapy care was also excellent and given with respect to my individual needs. Recovery staff were informative and reassuring. Excellent care there too. I include catering staff who also took care in their work. A few glitches with the electronics on the bed and the new bathroom which received prompt attention - the unit has been recently renovated.

Her follow-up letters are always clear, thorough, and truly helpful. Even her secretary is accessible, kind, and supportive, which makes the entire experience smooth and reassuring. Dr. Kariyawasam initially became my doctor by chance, as I needed an urgent appointment and she happened to be available. It is no coincidence, however, that she will remain my doctor moving forward. Her care is outstanding in every way.

Excellent experience from start to finish. My issue was a much-enlarged benign prostate which necessitated urination every 1.5-2 hours - or at least 3 times per night, which was tiresome(literally). He explained clearly the options and we opted for the minimally-invasive aquablation option (no laser, no cutting). Operation went very smoothly, 2 nights in hospital, recovery swift and infection -free. Good flow returned immediately, no discomfort, took c.7 weeks for significant reduction in need to urinate. Now able to go through night with just one visit (even managed 7 hours last week) which is pretty good for a 75-year-old. Highly recommended.

I had a great experience at this practice. The hospital was exceptionally clean, well-structured, and very well organized. There was hardly any waiting time, and I was called in for my appointment surprisingly quickly. The facilities were also outstanding. Both the hospital itself and the X-ray department were equipped with modern, high-quality technology, which made the whole process smooth and efficient. Overall, it was an impressive and reassuring experience.

While there were some initial issues due to the practice changing ownership during the run up to my procedure, the new management honoured my original booking and once they were up and running in the new location I don’t think I could have asked for a better service. Everyone on the team was extremely friendly, welcoming and professional and the aftercare was excellent. I am also extremely happy with the outcome of my procedure- would highly recommend!

The Spire Cheshire has a calm atmosphere and a good coffee machine. The front of house staff are friendly and clear. The waiting area is clean.
