I’ve seen many consultants in the course of treating my skin cancer over the last 30 years. I’ve had in the region of 40 procedures and Mr Chin has, by far and away been the best I’ve experienced. My last three procedures (with different consultants) were under local anaesthetic which led to me fainting as a reaction to the pain of local anaesthetic. When I presented this challenge to the next consultant, both he and his staff dismissed my request for a general anaesthetic or at least sedation. They implied that I needed to toughen up. Mr Chin however understood my concerns and took action to ensure I was ok from a pain management perspective. In every engagement I’ve had with Mr Chin I have felt cared for and respected. He’s an outstanding healthcare professional.

I went to see Mr Otify after seeing another consultant, which had dismissed my symptoms as womb pain. I had been in pain for over 12 months, it was making life very hard and sometimes the pain was unbearable. Mr Otify did not dismiss my symptoms or my thoughts. He is very easy to talk to and listens. We quickly came up with a plan . I had surgery 5 weeks ago, total hysterectomy and removed endometriosis, although I am still recovering from surgery, the pain I was experiencing has now gone. I had my follow up appointment the other day, he explained everything he did during surgery and his findings. I would most certainly recommend going to see mr Otify , it was the best decision I made and I can not fault him as a person or as a surgeon.

The King Edward V11 hospital is the best of the best in London. The cleanliness, kindness, fabulously trained and knowledgeable professionals in each and every department are second to none. I’ve been visiting this hospital for more than 45 years, and always had a most positive experience. From the Porters and Reception team to their Consultants and Physiotherapists, they are impossible to fault. On my most recent visit, I visited the imaging department, and was scanned by the amazing Dr Clare Allen, and her team. She was the personification of professionalism, yet also one of the most empathetic Consultants I have ever come across. I can’t recommend her or her team, more highly.

My experience was very disappointing with the consultant. I was happy for my appointment to be changed just before attending due to the consultant running late. I was very disappointed with the lack of interest and time shown to be by the consultant. I got 10 minutes of his time to be told to cut out caffeine at the cost of £250. I was hoping to receive some understanding of what could be causing recurrent UTI's and reassuring me of any fears of anything sinister i.e bladder cancer. Only to be told this only occurs for around 10/20% of cases. I think what really irked me was he looked at his watch part way through me speaking This I found very disrespectful and rude.

I was referred by my own dentist as he felt specialist treatment was necessary, following an abscess. Treatment was required urgently as I was due to travel abroad and did not want a repeat of the abscess. Dr Naidoo was able to see me and start root canal treatment before I travelled, describing the treatment in detail so that I could make an informed decision. I was seen on return to this country and treatment was completed. The treatment was painless ad the quality of care was excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr Naidoo and Vermilion Kelso

I came to him with a gut problem not actually understanding my problem and by the time he has explained things to me I knew what the problem was. My issue somehow manifested to be even worse and he took care of all matters relating to it including the surgery and after surgery care. Always had a listening ear. I would very highly recommend the Clayton ward. We have had two babies there and were really well looked after by kind, happy staff (doctors, midwives, assistants, catering and reception) who taught us a huge amount about how to care for a newborn. Having access to 121 support from midwives anytime day or night is just invaluable. The food was very good (for hospital food) and we genuinely looked forward to it each day - it really helped us recover as sleep deprived parents.

Mr Hasan Al Chalabi was recommended to me via a relative who works at Chelsfield Hospital and through BUPA I was able to make an appointment to see him. I can see why she spoke so highly of him. Outside of his professionalism of explaining what was needed and the detail of the surgery (which I asked for) he was extremely calming, positive and just a really nice guy. He put me at ease with the surgery and took time to speak afterwards with a really nice manner.

Was a little confused and concerned with all the last minute changes for surgery, then to be told and left waiting in a room for surgery to then say ur appointment was not the appointment time when u came in on our computer so they did change my appointment time! Other than that surgeon was fantastic brilliant and friendly After Care - as given a bag of meds and a latter and cards for the doctor with no sore dressings for wound area.

I'm sure it was being decorated when I visited 6 months ago. Still is. Before appointment they send forms to be completed online. No problem with that except one is for COVID asking if anybody on the family has been to a country on the government red list or been told to isolate by NHS. Neither of those things happen now. I raise it every time and nothing changes. Almost as if nobody reads the reviews. So much for "quality"
