I would like to thank Dan and his team for everything they have done for me over the last 7 months. I first saw Dan with a significant wrist injury after a motorbike accident. I was very uncertain about what the outcome might be. He was clear in explaining his diagnosis, answering my questions and explaining step by step what the surgery entailed. His manner and confidence put my mind at rest on this. I have achieved a better outcome than i had hoped and this is down to his expertise as a surgeon and support during my recovery. James N

Mr Shaerf was keen for me to talk and explain the problem as I saw it. He was very clear in his explanation of what was causing my issues, and had an immediate solution. I appreciated his friendliness and sense of humour!

I cannot recommend Mr Shaerf highly enough. He very kindly fitted me in as an emergency during an already difficult and stressful time after an accident abroad that required me to be medically repatriated. From the outset I felt I was in exceptionally safe hands. He was extremely thorough, took plenty of time to assess me, and gave ample time for both me and my accompanying family to ask questions and discuss concerns. I was most grateful for his individualised approach - Mr Shaerf took the time to understand my usual activity levels, and my strong desire to return to my normal activities and sport as fully and efficiently as possible. He then based the treatment and rehabilitation plan around those goals. He was also able to complete the initial plaster treatment at my initial appointment which was incredibly efficient and reassuring. His explanations were clear and easy to understand, and he gave me a clear plan for what to expect as I progress through treatment and recovery, along with transparency about unexpected risks during my recovery. Throughout, he was considerate, approachable and extremely reassuring, both to me and to my family. His combination of expertise and clear communication, along with genuine care, made an extremely stressful situation much easier to navigate.

Mr Shaerf is a very kind and thorough Dr. He made my son feel at ease and explained everything about his injury to both of us, ensuring we left understanding next steps. I highly recommend him to anyone who has a hand injury.

I did my research before selecting Mr Shaerf and it paid off. He is an ultra-specialist in hand and wrist surgery and he certainly proved this in treating my hand. His explanations were very clear and whilte being meticulous and exacting in his surgery, he gave me great confidence in his abilities during consultation. This confidence was well founded and I would certainly recommend him for hand surgery. He got rid of the dreadful arthritic pain in my hand so the operation could certainly be considered to be successful.
