Mr Muglu is a highly skilled and experienced gynaecological surgeon based at the Blackheath Hospital. He has been accredited by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists as well as the American College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

Additionally, he has a special interest in the early identification of endometrial cancers in women with abnormal uterine bleeding, and he has been instrumental in developing "One Stop Services" at NHS base hospitals.

His other areas of interest are the laparoscopic excisional surgical treatment of endometriosis and reproductive health care for peri-menopausal and post-menopausal women.

Additionally, Mr Muglu has published and led successful clinical research in both Obstetrics and Gynaecology, including a high-impact research work that guided change in practice in the management of stillbirths. He has also led multiple research articles and peer-reviewed research work, which have been recognised at many national and international congresses. He is also involved in medical education and is involved in the training of junior doctors. He is an advocate of evidence-based medicine and provides up-to-date obstetric and gynaecological services to women based on current research.
