Polite and friendly manner. Clear and concise advice regarding my condition and potential treatments.
Mr Thakur provided concise explanation of the procedure and risks involved. Reassured me during each consultation. Operation was a success and grateful that I am pain free and gained better quality of life.
Mr Thakur was extremely professional, friendly, and attentive throughout my appointments. He took the time to clearly explain everything, ensuring I fully understood my options and each stage of the process. I often had a number of questions, all of which he answered thoroughly and without hesitation. He has also continued to provide excellent support throughout my recovery, ensuring everything is progressing as it should. I have always felt listened to and in very safe hands, and I am very grateful for his care.
I went to see Mr Thakur for my 4 week follow up appointment after my microdiscectomy. Mr Thakur is very professional and also kind and patient. He never makes you feel rushed and he listens properly. This may sound like a basic skill but it's surprising how many medical professionals I have dealt with where you feel like you're either just another patient or you're an inconvenience! I appreciate the time he spends with me and he also called me a couple of days after my operation to check on me. This provided me with the reassurance I needed after relatively major surgery. I feel very lucky to have found him, thank you Mr Thakur.
Explained the problem and proposed actions clearly and sympathetically
My appointments and interactions with Mr Thakur have been excellent. He is extremely professional, approachable, and caring, always taking the time to answer all our questions. His explanations have been thorough and clear, and he consistently listened to us with patience and understanding. Throughout a very difficult period, he remained kind, calm, and supportive, giving me confidence as I prepared for major surgery. His positive and reassuring manner made a significant difference to my treatment experience.
A good and competent doctor.
