We had a remote initial consultation with Dr Vaqas. He was very professional, had reviewed our images ahead of the appointment and took time to explain things very clearly to us. He discussed all possible options with us very thoroughly. Throughout the consultation he checked for any questions and answered all brilliantly. We would definitely recommend him to others in need of neurosurgical advice.

Dr Vaqas had a lovely sympathetic bedside manner. He gave clear regular updates on all information to myself and my worried parents at home. The thing that set Dr Vaqas higher than any other surgeon I've met is in a tricky situation throughout the pandemic he continuously fought hard for my care.

Mr Vaqas not only saved my life, but his outstanding professionalism, tenacity and constant, but gentle encouragement helped me to recover and to regain my quality of life in its entirety, after he successfully drained an unexpected brain abscess which threatened my life in 2022. I am eternaly grateful! He is a true role model for any health care professional: kind, gentle, compassionate, approachable and, most of all, hugely knowledgeable and skillful.
