Dr Murphy is an outstanding clinician with excellent communication skills and empathy. He explained the options clearly and so I was able to make a balanced and informed decision and to feel confident about the next steps.
Prof Murphy was kind and reassuring, clear about next steps, and answered my questions thoughtfully.
Prof Murphy is exemplary in his bedside manner, care and attention to detail. I am grateful for the service I received under his’ care. He ‘knows his’ onions’ (technical code for ‘definitely knowledgeable in his field of work’). Careful to answer my questions and clarify details that clouded my mind. Putting my fears to rest. Thank you Prof You do excellent work indeed.
My experience with Dr. Murphy has been truly exceptional. He has been incredibly helpful and patient with me throughout this whole process. I really appreciate how accommodating he has been — even taking the time to respond through his secretary just to help me manage my symptoms.
Professor Murphy was enormously helpful and kind from my first diagnostic interview to my surgery and then yesterday's follow-up. I am ost grateful to him.
We met Professor Murphy yesterday virtually for a second opinion regarding my mum’s case, and I wanted to share our experience. From the moment we started, he was incredibly kind and approachable. He actually listened to us, gave us plenty of time to talk, and made sure we had space to ask every question we had without feeling rushed. That meant a lot to us during a stressful time. His knowledge and expertise in the field are outstanding. He was also very thorough in discussing all the available options – both what’s available through the NHS and the alternatives that aren’t offered by the NHS. It felt like he gave us a complete picture so we could make informed decisions.
The use of zoom allowed a confidential consultation to take place easily. Using zoom also meant we didn’t have to travel for some hours to get to the clinic.
Professor Murphy is extremely caring and positive. His explanations are always easy to understand. Nothing seems to much trouble for him. We have 100% trust in him
