I arrived at 13.20 for my appointment with the nurse and informed the receptionist that I had three appointments 1) nurse 2) Mr Consigliere 3 ) physiotherapist. She informed me that she would note my presence for the first two but that I needed to tell physiotherapist separately. I saw the nurse on time and informed the receptionist I was now ready for my 2pm appointment with mr Consigliere. At 2.15 I asked receptionist if Mr Consigliere was running late ? Also that I was surprised he had not asked me to have an X-ray. At this point the receptionist informed me that my 2pm appointment with mr Consigliere had been cancelled. I asked by whom. At this point there was obviously some confusion and I was asked to sit down whilst they investigated. Some minutes later I was told “something “ had gone wrong but Mr Consigliere had asked me to have an X-ray and he would see me after my physiotherapist appointment. When I saw Mr Consigliere at around 3.45pm he informed me that my bone was not attached to the metal plate in my elbow. The ligaments and muscles were keeping it in place. Mr Consigliere wished to see what would happen over the next few weeks before making a decision.

I am extremely happy that I chose Dr Derek Ho to perform my cataract surgery. He took his time to explain to me over the phone the different options and to make a recommendation when I asked him to. In the end I went with his suggestion of having a toric EMV lens in both eyes done at the same time. On the day of surgery he was very calm, polite and caring. His surgical skills are second to none. I felt reassured that I was in very experienced and capable hands. I could not believe that the treatment was completely pain free and smooth and easy. I could see very clearly after the operation straight away. Two days after the procedure I am totally amazed by how well I can see. I can now see better than I have ever been able to with glasses when I was younger. A truly transformative operation. I am so grateful to Dr Ho for what he has done for me. He is a great surgeon. I had a knee replacement, all I had to do was follow the instructions of the medical staff, who were all very professional, clear but above all kind. Mr Krishnan (the surgeon) did a wonderful job, this is a painful procedure but the nurses made sure relief was only a bell push away. I was given exercises to do that were gradually increased as the days went on. Once home I followed all the instructions and exercises given and regained full mobility by the end of six weeks. The hospital staff worked as a team and were very supportive, kind and positive. I can’t praise my surgeon enough and all the wonderful staff. Because of their treatment I made a textbook recovery in the shortest time possible.

He then asked me for many other details relevant to my condition and performed respiratory tests to make comparisons with my notes. He showed real interest in my concerns about my health. When I left the appointment I felt confident being in his care and had a plan arranged with him to proceed with the investigation of my lung condition.

Mr Oakley could not of been more helpfull in explaining to me the complexities of the operation I was going to have on my knee.Unfortunately on my first visit to the Operating theatre there was a slight problem but it was dealt with without any fuss by his team and I had the procedure done a fortnight later,with great success I might add.The aftercare I had was second to none and I have no complaints whatsoever.Doubles and trebles all round.Cheers!

I think the Doctors Lounge is such a great personal investment. You are able to see a doctor quickly, they have all your notes in front of them and have excellent referal doctors should you need further support. I cannot recomend Dr. Nik Chopra and his team more highly. It also means you take pressure off your local GP who can then spend their time with patients who need to use the NHS service. Think outstanding service and value for money.

All the staff at the Spire Hospital were helpful & nothing was too much trouble so that I felt listened to in terms of my needs & any fears I had. I felt reassured that I was in excellent hands when it came to pain relief particularly immediately post op & was encouraged to get out of bed as soon as I was able. The food was enjoyable & there was a good variety which certainly helped my recovery & my room was light & very clean.

Returned for my 6 week follow-up post left side inguinal hernia repair on the 5th Jan. Text book recovery. Mr Khanna inspected the site and confirmed it was holding strong. I’ve returned to running +10k. Lifting weights in the gym. As of 17th Jan it feels great. Having to hold myself back for a few more weeks. No pain on any activity now. Mr Khanna has worked his magic.

On my recent visit to Prive Clinics, I had a really lovely experience. The receptionist was so welcoming and offered tea or coffee as usual, which was a nice touch. The dental nurse was friendly and smiley, making me feel comfortable straight away. The practice is very clean and well looked after. Overall, it was a great visit and a very pleasant experience.
