I can not speak highly enough of Dr Kotecha and her team. She recently looked after me during my first pregnancy and was amazing. I am older with medical issues and an IVF pregnancy so the stakes were very high! From the moment I met her she put me at ease and I knew that I was in the best hands possible. She has a very kind manner but clearly is highly knowledgable and takes everything in her stride which is very reassuring. She was very accommodating to the fact that I live a couple of hours away from the hospital and took this in to account when making my treatment plan. We decided on an elective c-section for many reasons and she answered all my questions and walked me through the process so there would be no surprises. When it came to the big day I can’t say how enjoyable it was, rather a strange thing to say about major abdominal surgery! Everything was very calm, we had the best 80s playlist playing in the theatre, everyone was calm and friendly and we were kept updated through the whole process what was happening. Nothing was rushed and it just felt an amazing, calm and magical experience. This was down to Reena and the team around her. She has been at the end of the phone through the whole process, including afterwards, and always willing to answer any question or concern however small. On top of all that she is just a lovely, friendly person.

EVERY admin, nurses (pre-assessment, outpatient and inpatient), theatre staff, ward manager, pharmacist that I spoke to were kind, empathetic and truly cared about making my experience that much easier. Where else can you say that? I wish I could remember names so I can give specific shoutouts to some absolute angels who went above and beyond - like the pre assessment nurse who sorted my appointments so I didn’t have to do the long journey too many times, the nurse on the night shift who got me a heat pack and ice-cream. Another angel nurse who was as determined as me to get the catheter out!! Another rockstar nurse who empathised with my health struggles and bargained with me about keeping them god awful compression socks on! Honestly just every single nurse who cared for me, they never made me feel I was too much and treated me with so much kindness. The theatre staff who talked to me before I went down and held my hand. The Anaesthetist who stayed with me as I came round and chatted holidays whilst pain relief kicked in and wiped tears away. The admin ladies who always greeted me with a smile. And of course, Mr Gan. You’re all angels and I am forever grateful to you.

The staff at Princess Grace Hospital were outstanding from start to finish. From pre-op to the pre-surgery waiting area, everything was explained clearly, including how patients are triaged, which really put me at ease. The level of support was exceptional; physio, dietitian input, and timely pain management were all seamlessly provided. I was also impressed by the technology, such as the pump to prevent blood clots, which gave me extra reassurance since I have predisposition to Deep Vein thrombosis. I would like to give special thanks to my anesthesiologist, Dr. Chan, who was excellent, and to every single nurse who cared for me; there were too many to name, but they were all amazing, including the night assistant who was always available the moment you ranged. Even the food exceeded expectations. It felt like 5-star dining, with healthy, abundant options that made recovery more comfortable. After many surgeries elsewhere, I can honestly say I’ve never had such a positive hospital experience. Princess Grace sets a remarkable standard of care.

Mr Tim Biggs

I broke my nose playing football 20 years ago, since Covid I have had extreme difficulties breathing. I went to my GP and it was recommended that I use nose sprays for the rest of my life. I persisted with the issue and after several visits, I was referred to QA. Within 30 seconds, Mr Tim Biggs diagnosed the issue and recommend Septorhinoplasty surgery. This procedure has been LIFE CHANGING for me. Every single symptom I had before has comepletly gone, I am able to breath normally now, my severe nose bleeds and head aches have stopped also. It is an incredible shame this is now no longer provided through the NHS. Without this, my quality of life would be significantly worse. I’d like to thank Tim and his team for changing my quality of life for the better. I believe the NHS does get a bad reputation through what is reported in the media, however, my procedure and the quality of care was absolutely faultless. Jas has been amazing throughout my Invisalign treatment, from the initial stages of having my first scans he was great at explaining the process and the steps along the way. I had regular check ins to make sure that my teeth were moving correctly and to make sure that everything was going well! Jas made me feel at ease in every appointment that I saw him and was very personable, I can’t fault any part of my Invisalign journey with Jas! Thursday afternoon visit, the surgery did not adjust to be that busy, arrived before my appointment time but still had to wait till after my scheduled time before being seen. Cat was blocked in when I be wanted to leave and I requested for the owner to move their vehicle as I had other engagements scheduled. No sense of urgency amongst the staff it appreciation that my time is as valuable as theirs. Managed to manoeuvre my car out whilst waiting so impact was not as bad as if I had waited for the other to move their vehicle but it was irritating.

Staff were all very friendly. The consultant and trainee were both very helpful, keen to investigate the problem and I was happy with the outcome of the appointment. After this consultation I feel as though I am being taken seriously by this consultant and he is doing what he can to help me. Explanations were given as to what things mean in a way that I could understand and Dr Iftikhar reassured me throughout. He also showed teaching enthusiasm which was encouraging.

Came to Dr Ryan for a second opinion and immensely glad that I did. Dr Ryan was incredibly warm and patient, he took the time to understand my situation and my concerns. After the test results were available, he shared his expertise in an understandable manner. Whereas I have had poor experiences in the past with dismissive and condescending doctors, Dr Ryan welcomed and addressed all my questions. I am looking forward to the path to recovery.

Once inside the building I was greeted promptly by the receptionist who was approachable and friendly. Wait time was a little longer than expected but staff did advise of this. Otherwise a very positive consultation experience. Being new to the hospital site, it wasn’t easy to locate SPH as signage tailed away aster the first o two. Car parking was poor - no spaces available on arrival and no indication given of alternatives.

The appointment was smooth and seemless even with a tube strike. Many of the staff who had taken care of me recognised me and took time to chat and find out how I was recovering. I felt they genuinely had an interest and delighted in much of m good news. All together, the staff there are brilliant. I would go out of my way to use the cromwell over many of my local hospitals just for the care our staff showed me.

Outstanding care by Dr Bellamy. What made it outstanding was the time he took to explain things, the way he was able to reassure whilst being realistic and how he helped in terms of understanding the “ next steps.” He is a rare find in medicine nowadays; a doctor who has a genuine interest in people. The team of nurses were friendly and competent, offering relaxed and informative patient care.

I came in for surgery to remove all four of my wisdom teeth. From start to finish Mr Leo Cheng was absolutely brilliant. He has the best bedside manner, so friendly and reassuring. Really made me feel at ease when I was really nervous and explained everything so well. Just before I went under, I saw him come into the room and it really did make me feel better with his big smile and thumbs up!

I had a great experience at this location. The nurses on the third floor were accommodating and warm, and Mr Dwivedi had great bedside manners as he checked on me before the surgery and right afterwards. He also made sure to call me every day to see how my throat was healing (tonsillectomy.) I'd highly recommend.
