I recently had bilateral cataract surgery. From start to finish the treatment I received was excellent. The patient liaison manager was really helpful, friendly, incredibly supportive and a welcome calming influence. I was amazed by the state of the art optical equipment that was available to ensure that my lenses were perfectly suited to the dimensions of my eyes and my prescription, as well as the care that the technicians took while taking the measurements. The optometrists I saw were caring and informative, ensuring that I knew about the different types of intra ocular lenses available and what I may expect from them. They carried out my eye tests with care and patience. The eye surgeon was incredibly experienced and very skilled, and carried out the procedure very efficiently with great care. Now, six weeks post-surgery, I am very grateful of the care I received and the quality and clarity of my lenses; both aspects easily surpassed all my expectations. I would highly recommend Freedom Vision, Chelmsford to anyone considering cataract surgery.

I visited Dr. Dwivedi for an ear problem with a constant ringing sound that was affecting my daily life. He listened very carefully to my symptoms, examined me thoroughly, and clearly explained what could be causing the problem. He also suggested the appropriate tests to confirm the diagnosis and guided me through each step. After reviewing the results, he prescribed the right medication, and I am happy to say that my condition improved and I was cured. Throughout the consultation, he was calm, patient, and never rushed. Dr. Dwivedi is not only an excellent and knowledgeable doctor, but also a genuinely kind and caring person. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy ENT specialist.

My experience of the hospital was very good. The staff were amazing especially Jayne on Day surgery and David at the ward at night. The only downside that came to my attention is being told that there was no lactose free milk for my tea. The lady, I did catch her name, told me that she wasn’t aware of my overnight stay. She asked me if I was aware that I was staying overnight and I replied ‘yes’. She then went on to ask if I had put it in my forms prior to attending and I said yes. She kept on going on it wasn’t her fault she had been told. A bit of advice would be that she overshared. She clearly sorted the problem as the following morning someone had picked up the milk and I had it with my tea.

He found a mechanism to relieve my symptoms immediately and I have been free of pain for just about a year now. This is both a wonderful relief and release. I shall be grateful for as long as I last! His manner is enthusiastic and engaging and plainly interested in awide range of subjects. Once fully recovered, I am sure I shall miss our conversations and h9is ministration. Dr Charlotte Frise is an excellent doctor. Despite the multiple complications I had, she had time for me even when she was off duty. She saw me through until I sailed through. I was never afraid at any point even when I couldn’t breathe and had oxygen of 80% on room air, I was motivated. Her smile was always soothing and reassuring, it felt like family. She treats patients like family and it’s heartwarming in difficult times. I begin to tear up when I express how I feel about the care she gave me. Am very impressed and grateful for her services. The NHS is blessed to have doctors like her.

This is the third time I have visited Dr.Halfhide, as I completely trust him with my skin. Not only does he help to resolve my issues but I leave understanding more about my condition. I’ve had eczema since I was a young child, I’m now 33. I thought I had exhausted all options until I met Dr. Halfhide, I can safely say he has given me the best care and guidance I have received throughout my many years of this condition. I have a long way to go, due to many years of mistreatment but finding Dr.Halfhide has given me hope and I always leave his consultations feeling positive.

1)I found the signage to the main lifts and to Lyndhurst rooms confusing. There should be signage in the ground floor lift lobby saying which departments are on which floor. I have been complaining about this since 1971. 2)The excellent group portrait of the Royal Free consultants in about 1970 which used to be on the ground floor but has now been removed to the 12th Floor no longer has the key saying who they are. This is a digrace and an insult to the memory of a fine group of men (and about ten women), The key should be found and reinstated immediately.

From the initial outpatient appointment to the procedure , everything was smooth and pleasant. I didn’t have to wait long when I visited the facility and it was not difficult to book appointments for further treatment. Karla, Michele and all the nursing team were very kind , thoughtful and accommodating. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed and they didn’t leave questions unanswered. Dr Woollard was very attentive and helpful. He was reassuring and made everything clear. He was understanding and showed empathy .

After a frustrating year with an ankle injury sustained playing football, seeing Alex at PSM has been great. Alex provided a detailed analysis of my gait and took a 3D scan of my foot to create orthoses customised to me. He also clearly explained what was going on with my ankle and how it can get better, having done a number of tests to pinpoint the issue. Highly recommend Alex for anyone struggling with a foot-related sports injury.

Mr Swan was exceptional. From the outset, he asked all the right questions and took the time to truly listen to my concerns. He was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to identify and confirm issues that other doctors had previously missed. To improve the service i think it would be nice if a cardiologists could quickly glance/look over results and give a brief written note/summary of results/heart health. It is a shame that in order to get a cardiologists insight/reassurance I then have to rebook and pay for an additional appointment.
