I would highly recommend Dr. Tom Setchell to anyone looking for outstanding obstetric care. The care I received during my pregnancy was truly impeccable. I suffer from health anxiety, which meant I needed a bit of extra reassurance throughout the journey—and Dr. Setchell delivered that and more. He was consistently kind, patient, and incredibly reassuring at every stage. His calm and compassionate approach made me feel at ease, turning what could have been a stressful experience into something I actually looked forward to. Every visit with him left me feeling more confident and cared for, and he always made sure I received any additional support I needed. Dr. Setchell was also present for the birth, which was an amazing and overwhelmingly positive experience. The delivery went very smoothly, and I felt completely safe and supported throughout. His presence and expertise made all the difference. He continued to provide regular check-ups after the birth, ensuring everything was healing well and that my recovery stayed on track. Thanks to his exceptional care, my recovery was incredibly quick and smooth —something I’m so grateful for. His availability for check-ins both before and after the birth really showed his dedication to his patients. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better doctor throughout this entire journey.

A real chagne to the usual consultant who does not lissen or explain his thoughts and plans. Dr Richard was a real breath of fresh air, I had finally found a Dr who actually listend and discusses your prblems. Then he does some evaluative tests with a full explenation of what they mean and why he was running the tests. Then he does a very comprehensive medical review around your sypmtoms and concerns. Taking accouint of family background etc. He then shared his thoughts of what might be the cause of my specific problem along with plans going forward. At no time during the consultation was I rushed and Dr Richard really took time to give a very thorough explenation of what he is planning to do to determine what is causing my symptoms. I would very much recommend Dr Richard to any one seeking a good neurologist who really listens to the patient unlike many consultants out there.

I recently took my mother to visit Dr Singh. She had osteoarthritis in her hands and feet which can be quite painful. We were keen to understand the diagnosis, outlook and treatment options better than had been explained by her GP. Dr Singh was excellent. He took the time to explain the condition in detail, outlining both the short- and long-term management options in a way that was easy to understand. He was patient, thorough, and reassuring throughout the consultation. My mother and I left feeling much better informed and confident about the next steps. He recommended two options to relieve symptoms which had not been suggested before. One option - herbal tablets - have been transformational for my mother and she says these have helped to relieve pain by up to 90 percent. We are so grateful.

Mr Dattani was amazing through the process. The initial meeting, he promised to operate within 48 hours and he kept his work, even personally bring me the night before at around 20:30 after juggling his schedule. His work was exceptional, my scar is minimal and both physios and I am surprised that there were not 2 scars – justifying my 5 stars for his excellent work. On follow-up meeting, he has always been polite and kept me informed of the next stage. I really cannot thank him enough. The Chelsea Westminster Hospital is clean, with friendly professional staff. I stayed in 1 night after my operation and staff diligently cared for me throughout the night with drinks and medication. They were truly brilliant.

He is not only a highly skilled surgeon but also a kind, compassionate, and caring person. I truly haven’t had such a positive and reassuring experience with any doctor before, and I’m deeply grateful for the care I received.

Went in with our 14 week old for a tongue tie consultation as the NHS wouldn’t see her as she was over 12 weeks. Mira explained everything thoroughly and in a way non medical people would understand, she was also amazing with a tired, hungry, grumpy baby. She diagnosed the tongue tie within seconds of looking in her mouth and cut it there and then with the help of the nurse. Baby cried understandably but next to no bleeding and was feeding with 5 minutes. Mira has worked a miracle and it’s like having a different baby. Thank you so much from one very tired, emotional breastfeeding mother, you are amazing!!

I was quite anxious about the whole birth experience and Ms Bhatti and the team were so calm, professional and friendly, it made for the enjoyable experience I was hoping for. Ms Bhatti was knowledgeable, attentive and very contactable, either through private message or via her very responsive PA. We felt in safe hands and I would highly recommend booking with Ms Bhatti. It was one of the best decisions we have ever made.

I had a good overall experience at The London Independent Hospital. The staff were professional, kind, and attentive, and everything was generally well-organized. However, my experience in the MRI department could have been better — the staff had difficulty finding a vein for the contrast injection, and after several attempts, I nearly fainted. While I understand that this can sometimes happen, it was quite uncomfortable. Despite this, I was otherwise happy with the care I received and would still recommend the hospital.

He clarified and gave clear and consise understanding of my options without any pressure. Helped me to understand that one size does not fit all . He made me realise that my options were not limited. I left feeling reassured and less anxious about the next steps regarding the nature / location of the fibroids.

I went for an annual review. The only change this time was that I was charged £100 for the hearing test. I assume this is because the hearing aid is out of warranty. Whilst I don't mind paying this, it was not made clear to me that there was a cost beforehand, which it would have been nice to have known - though it wouldn't have altered my appointment!
