Usually feedback is of a negative nature but this is not one of those occasions. My experience was awesome for which I am super grateful. I have had a number of gastroscopies in my life so was nervous about what was going to happen. From the moment of my arrival I was greeted and made to feel comfortable straight away. The pre-procedure nurses were very clear, helpful and showed huge amounts of empathy about what was going to happen. When wheeled into the operating theatre I was introduced to all of the team who were to perform the procedure, all of whom had welcoming smiles and a reassuring tone (a tone that continued throughout the procedure). Dr Alan Watson was super clear, professional and again very comforting. I knew I was in safe hands. I just had a throat spray, no sedation, so was fully aware of what was going on. One action that was performed by a nurse during the procedure was to, comfortingly, rub my shoulder. I couldn’t see who it was, but such a small, seemingly insignificant action, was hugely important to me and kept me connected with humanity during the brutal fact that I had a scope down my throat. Post procedure, I was greeted with the warm smiles again and wheeled to the recovery area where again everyone was super attentive. I can’t say thank you enough for everything. The team were awesome.

Professor Jian Farhadi

Professor Farhadi performed a thigh flap breast reconstruction for me two years ago, and a follow up nipple reconstruction with fat transfer a year ago. While this is a more complex surgery with longer recovery than some, I couldn't be happier with the result. The breast feels and looks completely natural, and is a perfect match for my natural breast. The scar on my thigh has faded completely and is positioned in a way that is unnoticeable. I trust Professor Farhadi completely. He performed by original reconstruction in 2012, which was an implant that also looked great but unfortunately ruptured ten years later due to long term effects from radio therapy. There was no question in my mind of using another surgeon for the follow up procedure. He is a perfectionist and has an excellent eye. He also explains everything very clearly, which helped me make the decision for which route to take both times.

The initial consultation was an evening appointment and I considered it to be expensive. The consultants fee (Dr Kadhim) was £250 (equating to £1000 per hour) Administration fee £35 (for what) and an e.c.g which took all of 5 minutes was £111. Total £396. I was promised by the consultant that Cardioversion would happen before my holiday in mid December but received excuses from admin staff why this could not happen. I kept pestering and eventually received notice at 3.00pm the day before that Cardioversion would occur at 07.30 the following morning. The actual Cardioversion went without hitch, the consultant Dr Menown and his staff were excellent, facilities were good, food was ample and all went well. So do not take no for an answer.

I was treated by Dr Jenny Doyle who is welcoming, personable, informative and professional, she answered my questions with ease and is extremely knowledge in aesthetics. She is also an NHS eye surgeon as well as caring out private cosmetic eyelid surgery . Treatment - the numbing cream worked quickly, the treatment was almost painless, the face mask afterwards was lovely and soothing and my skin looked plump and fresh as I left, with no redness or swelling. I am looking forward to seeing the results over the next month. The Clinic has all the latest most advanced non surgical equipment available. I highly recommend.

Dr Sridhar is an amazing, exceptional doctor. He’s very kind and caring to my son. He takes his time to explain things to us, especially to my wife who struggled with English. We don’t feel rushed in appointments and have always put us at ease, especially with all the medication my son has had to take and the surgeries he’s had as a child. His expertise and kindness has made all the difficult times easy for us. During Covid he always made time for us by telephone, when everything was on lock down, which was amazing as our son was immune suppressed and we were worried for him. Dr Sridhar is an outstanding doctor and We are truly grateful, he’s our doctor.

The allergy testing was done in the same appointment, as were results and further referrals as needed. As a mum of a small baby, coming out of an appointment with answers and plans in regards to moving forward really puts your mind at ease and that exactly what Dr Pradeep achieved.

Dr Thing was very professional and efficient. He sent me lots of information prior to the injection appointment so I could understand how the treatment would work. Dr Thing explained the process during each part of the procedure. He has a good bedside manner and when I asked if I could look at the scanner monitor to see the fluid go into my knee, he was happy for me to do so.

I was met by a nurse who took care of me throughout and dealt out the eye drops prior to the operation. The surgeon introduced himself to me and was reassuring before and during the op. He was aware my eye was stinging from the drops and waited until further numbing drops took effect before operating. He also kept reassuring me whilst dealing with the cataract.
