Mr Christopher Bailey consistently offers professional, clear, and reassuring consultations to patients. He provides comprehensive explanations for knee procedures, including total and partial knee replacement, arthroscopy, and ACL reconstruction. Patients achieve excellent outcomes with significant pain relief, restored mobility, and a swift return to active lifestyles. Feedback frequently highlights relief from chronic knee pain following successful knee replacement surgery.
This review is 3 months after the procedure for a partial knee replacement. The procedure has been a complete success, at present have around 90% of full movement & walking normally without discomfort. I understand that it is normal to take a few more months for close to 100% movement. During visits to the orthopaedic centre at the Royal Hampshire all details of what to expect & questions were answered efficiently. The same was true at time of surgery. Highly recommended, thanks to all concerned for this positive outcome.
Had a great experience with Mr Bailey - explained things in an efficient manner, the ACL reconstruction operation seemed to go super smoothly. I had one follow up meeting where he answered all my questions - all was well, and he said he's here for me for anything going forward.
My husband is over the moon. He had surgery 6 weeks ago. Dr.bailey was direct and to the point on information, very cheerful and open to any questions. Surgery was smooth and recovery is going very well. He's been given Dr.b details to reach him for any concerns, happy to help. The room provided before and after surgery was clean, private and had an ensuite. Staff were friendly.
Great experience considering how nervous you can get I was put at ease straight away looked after and reassured all the way
I am absolutely thrilled with the results of two TKR. Mr Bailey did an excellent job resulting in me getting my life back pain free.
I had a full knee replacement. Once I was over the surgery my life changed. . My leg is straight and strong and I can walk normally rather than swaying from side to side. It’s wonderful being pain free and mobile
The whole process was very efficient with a clear explanation.
I was referred to Mr Bailey after seeing my GP and having an X-Ray, and first saw him on 24 October 2025. He showed me the images and explained the options to me and asked what I wanted to achieve. I explained that while I knew I would not run again, it would be nice to be able to take part in recreational skiing once more, albeit on gentler runs, and that I would like the stability of my knee to be restored. He asked how soon I would like to have surgery and I said as soon as possible. I was booked in there and then for surgery on 5 December 2025, which took place as planned and has been highly successful. Nearly seven weeks later I am walking normally, back in the gym, with full knee stability and no knee pain. I continue to do the physio exercises to expand my range of movement. I could not be more satisfied with the result.
Top quality specialist in his field.
