Mr Maninderpal Matharu

Mr Maninderpal Matharu is a Senior Physiotherapist and Clinical Director at LDN Physio, based in East London. With over 13 years of experience working across various NHS trusts and specialties, he has developed a broad expertise in treating a range of musculoskeletal conditions. His special interests include nutrition, return-to-sport programs, and calisthenics. 

Mr Matharu is a key member of the Hands & Wrist specialist team, drawing on his experience from prominent hands and wrist clinics at one of London's major hospitals. In addition, he is a qualified nutrition consultant, ensuring that his patients' rehabilitation is optimised by addressing any unmet dietary needs.

Before entering the world of physiotherapy, Mr Matharu studied Neuroscience, where he developed a passion for neural plasticity, motor imagery, and neurodegenerative disorders. He believes that his extensive research into sleep, stress, and motivation plays a significant role in helping patients return to full fitness. Outside of work, Mr Matharu is a keen footballer who regularly plays with his local team.
