I cannot praise Mr Talawadekar, known more fondly as Mr T, highly enough. What an ambassador for the NHS! From the start of my referral for progressive dupytrons contracture over 12 months ago, through to surgery on the 27th October and post op consultation, he has shown such kindness and compassion wrapped up with a wonderful sense of humour. (the delay in my review is due to being out of the country) His knowledge and expertise in the condition as he engages with you at the consultations, is obvious. As is his passion and devotion to his craft. I did not have one second of anxiety about my surgery or doubt that Mr T would do an excellent job, and he did not let me down. Within a few weeks I had almost full use of my hand with a slight restriction being around the post op swelling. After 8 weeks and continuing physio I now have no swelling or scarring and a completely straight finger. I will be eternally grateful to Mr T and his wonderful skill as an outstanding surgeon.

After having an initial consultation and X-rays Mr Holton recommended a bilateral hip replacement in 2 stages . Both operations were successful with little or no pain/ discomfort. I had good mobility in as little as 4 weeks which was well above my expectations. I believe this was not only due to Mr Holton’s knowledge and expertise but also the. Mako Robotic Arm technology that I was offered on my initial consultation after Mr Holton explained the benefits . I can only say that the surgery has transformed my life and I am active again! Mr Holton is a truly dedicated and competent Surgeon a thoroughly nice man who is easy to talk to and has a very caring attitude. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is contemplating this type of surgery . Thank you also the the lovely nursing staff at the Nuffield in Leeds for their excellent care . JF

Booked an appointment and was seen 2 days later. Dr Chopra was very friendly, took a case history and examined my skin condition. He made suggestions as to the cheapest course of action, which he personally wouldn't have financially benefitted from, which showed real integrity as a doctor. I went ahead with a biopsy, which was quickly and skilfully performed, and dissolving sutures were deliberately used as to save me from needing a return visit, thus reducing costs and time. Dr Chopra clearly cares not only about his patients but also seeks to provide medical attention in the most cost effective manner for his patients.

I arrived at 7.30am to get booked in & ready for my procedure. Was taken to my room to get changed & was taken down before 8.30am. Everything ran very smoothly & Dr.O'Donnell was very professional & talked me through everything that he was doing. Dr O'Donnell reassured me & was very fast & efficient. I couldn't recommend him enough as he is brilliant at what he does. The nurses were very nice too. When I got back to my room I got a cuppa & a scone & I was out of hospital & on way home just after 9am. I would highly recommend Dr.O'Donnell as he is so professional & made me feel at ease. My appointment with Mr Philip Ahrens was convenient and went smoothly. All the reception staff at Portland Place were friendly and efficient. Dr Lee who and his assistant (Ahmed?) who carried out the ultrasound scan of my shoulder and the delivery of the steroid injection were first class. I have been treated by Mr Ahrens on two previous occasions - 2005 and 2010 - so I knew that he was the specialist I wanted to see on this occasion. Almost one week on and I am feeling the positive effects of my visit last Tuesday.

I had a very informative, relaxing & dare I say enjoyable visit with Dr Conor Bradley today. He put me at ease immediately with his welcoming personality. He explained all my options & what I could expect from the various treatments. I left feeling relieved from my visit & hopefully will not need to return, but if necessary would be quite happy to. May I also say the young lady on reception was very pleasant, even offering us tea or coffee. I would highly recommend this very professional clinic
