My experience has been nothing short of exceptional. My initial contact was with Tracey Lomax (Manager), and from the very beginning she offered a level of care and attention that truly stood out. I had written a long list of questions—around eight—and she took the time to highlight and respond to every single one. When I later sent even more questions regarding my chosen procedure (a Coronary CT Angiogram), she continued to provide thorough, reassuring answers. My intention was simply to undergo a non-invasive heart assessment at the age of 53—much like purchasing travel insurance, you prepare for the worst but hope for the best. Tracey reassured me that this was absolutely the right place for such an assessment. I had already enquired with two other providers, including Alliance Medical, but their responses felt robotic and impersonal. The level of genuine care here made all the difference. I also want to highlight the professionalism of the radiologist, who carried out the scan with great precision and made me feel completely at ease throughout the procedure. In addition, the nurse who took my blood samples three days prior to the scan was equally kind and professional—and the fact that these pre-scan blood tests were fully included in the cost was a significant and appreciated gesture. Dr. Gavin Lewis was the consultant who saw me both before and after the scan, with the consultation arranged on the same day. His explanation of the results was clear, calm, and reassuring. Both my wife and I left feeling confident about the future and grateful for the guidance he provided—including helpful advice on maintaining a healthy heart and speaking with my GP about medication adjustments. The final report arrived at my home within seven days, and a copy was also sent directly to my GP. My medication was promptly reviewed, updated, and delivered straight to my home. I am taking the time to write such a detailed review because they genuinely deserve it. They put real effort into caring for me, and I want to acknowledge that level of dedication. My elderly mother has had 2 consultations with Andraay Leung in the last fortnight, one in person and the second over Zoom, both of which I attended with her. Our experience of Mr Leung was excellent. He was punctual, sympathetic to my mother's condition and mobility constraints, and a very good communicator. Mr Leung was well prepared for the first consultation and quickly and clearly explained the relevant issues likely to be causative of my mother's current condition. He made recommendations for a further scan (which my mother was able to have straight away) and clearly outlined potential courses of treatment / action which would follow on from the scan results. Mr Leung was also very accommodating in making arrangements for the follow up consultation, offering a Zoom call which saved my mother having to make an uncomfortable journey to the Harborne Hospital during rush hour. Mr Leung's secretary has been easy to contact and very responsive to emails and calls. My mother has found it very reassuring to have Mr Leung's insight and advice about her current condition and now has a range of clearly explained options about how this can be treated.

Twelve months ago, I underwent surgery following a fall that caused a bleed on the brain and significant damage to the nerves on the left side of my face. The nerves had realigned incorrectly during recovery, leaving me with a noticeably crooked appearance and difficulty with facial expression. After several consultations with Mr Ahmed, we agreed on a surgical plan to remove and correct some of the affected nerves to help restore my facial symmetry, expression, and smile. One year on, the progress has been remarkable. The improvements in my facial movement and overall confidence have been significant. I saw Mr Ahmed again today, and he took the time to review my progress in detail. He explained the positive changes achieved so far and arranged to see me again in six months to assess further development from ongoing physiotherapy. At that point, we will discuss whether any additional treatment, surgery, or support may be beneficial. I am extremely grateful to Mr Ahmed for his expertise, guidance, and the results I have achieved to date. His support throughout this journey has been invaluable, and I truly appreciate the care he has provided.

A bad first impression: I arrived as requested at 7:30 to find no staff in Reception and the whole area in darkness! After about 10 , mins a nurse arrived to take us through to the ward. I had been told by the nurse on the phone doing the pre-op check that I was first on the list. However on the day I was told I was 6th, but suspect there were more than 5 people in front of me, as I was not taken downstairs for the procedure until 1about 11:30.. The problem for me was that I was very nervous and the unexpected delay made me very anxious. During my time in Room 19 the male nurse (?) looking after me did an excellent job, trying to reassure me as well as doing all the necessary preparation. Once I got to the operating theatre everyone was pleasant, efficient and friendly, The sedation was effective and the experience much less unpleasant that the retinal tear repair I had had at Moorfields about 10 years ago. I am now in a much better state to face the procedure on the 2nd eve in a few days time.

I have been a client of the surgery for many years going back to when Johnathan Richardson set up the practice just off Wilson's Corner. I continued to use the surgery when premises were established in Shenfield. It was when I experienced heart problems some 5 years ago that I found Dr. Athreya to be particularly helpful. He offered his private cell phone number should I need help or advice at this difficult time prior to surgery. This literally proved a lifeline. I saw Dr. Athreya on 4th December this year and as usual he was able to diagnose the problem and prescribe a treatment plan. Dr Athreya is an experienced, knowledgeable practitioner and a credit to the team at EPD. He puts patients at ease and is interested in their experiences. I was sorry to hear he was leaving for I feel sure he will be sorely missed.

I recently visited for an up and coming procedure I have booked in for the 12th. Dr Agha was detailed and thorough during my F2F visit. He communicates well and listened to all my thoughts, he advises well-equally is as realistic with surgery and the results. The location itself on Harley Street is pristine all of the staff and friendly and welcoming. The clinic is very easy to find- I came from Euston. It was a straight forward journey for me coming from Shrewsbury. Considering I travelled alone, it was quite enjoyable. Really looking forward to my procedure, having waited around 7 years for it after having my little girl and not wanting to jump into having surgery while she was so young. My patient advisor has also been brilliant along the way, thank you Jenny.

It was great to go through some of the rehab exercises with Josh to make sure I was confident to do these at home. Shoulder surgery, acj repair, told to be there at 9am with a 10am start. Surgeon and anesthetist didn't show until 1120, surgery was at 1230. No explanation or apology was given. Since I'm a type 1 diabetic this was especially stressful. It's lucky I'm able to control my blood sugars or I could've been in danger, or had to cancel the surgery.

Everything happened as Mr Stephen Brearley said it would, which was excellent. One thing I would suggest is that male patients are made aware that bruising can result in discoloration of the penis, which was for me quite a surprise, but I wasn't concerned following the overall advice I was given on bruising.
