Having recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer, I was keen to get a 'second opinion' on both the diagnosis as presented by the findings of my MRI and biopsy, and the summary of options presented by my own NHS Trust in the west country. A (doctor) friend in London recommended I seek the expertise of Mr Gordon as a specialist in Urology. I provided Mr Gordon's secretary with all relevant medical details and scans from the MRI and biopsy and a video consultation was arranged within 48 hrs. Understandably the number of questions in my own mind grew in the days following my diagnosis, so I prepared a long question bank which ranged from general questions on each of the three main options through to more specific enquiries regarding my own personal circumstances including age and health and the potential impact of surgery and radiotherapy etc. Mr Gordon answered in clear yet easy to understand terms. No questions or concerns were left unanswered. The outcome of the consultation provided me with much clearer insight into the three main options and from that my chosen course of action was made much easier.

I took my daughter for a blood test today with Dr. Nimah Bholah, and we had an outstanding experience. My daughter has had difficult and painful blood draws in the past, so she was quite nervous. But Dr. Bholah was incredibly reassuring, gentle, and patient throughout the whole process. To our surprise, my daughter felt no pain or discomfort at all, it was the most relaxed she has ever been during a blood test. Dr. Bholah explained everything clearly, helped her feel at ease, and showed real care and professionalism. My daughter even said she would happily come back to see the same doctor again whenever she needs blood work. That alone says everything about the quality of care we received. Thank you, Dr. Bholah, for making what is usually a stressful experience into such a positive one. Truly exceptional service.

Mr Trivedi was the consummate professional. He was very clear in the initial appointment, explained the different options, and made an informed recommendation. Once agreed to do a colonoscopy, he went out of his way to arrange for it urgently within 48 hours of the initial appointment. The hospital visit was excellent for the procedure. Mr Trivedi was very good in his communications before , through and after the procedure. And he gave an immediate assessment afterwards that there was nothing out of the ordinary, which gave me great relief. He also proposed diet changes which will ensure the problem will have less chance of recurring. Overall, a great experience with an experienced doctor for whom clearly, patient care and health is foremost !

Dr Eleni delivered my baby by C-section in July 2025 at the Portland Hospital. I am so grateful and fortunate to have had Dr Eleni as my doctor during my pregnancy and for the delivery of my baby. I felt completely safe and confident in her care during the whole process. She is confident, knowledgable, kind and highly skilled. She put me at ease as soon as I met her. The surgery itself went very well. I even felt well enough to leave the hospital the day after, and I think this is due to Dr Eleni's skill. The scar itself is small and tidy and I have received many comments from midwives and nurses on how tidy the scar is. If I was to have another baby, I absolutely would want Dr Eleni to be my doctor again.

I had a number of appointments to see Mr Warr at the Nuffield, and it was always administered well and on time. On the day of the surgery there was initially some confusion on which hospital room I was assigned to but that was cleared up fairly quickly - it was 7am so perhaps a beginning of shift handover issue. The nurses were caring, professional, attentive and very friendly before and after the operation. The anaesthetist visited and was very clear explaining the process, friendly and reassuring. A very good experience. I also appreciated that my parents could be with me before the operation as I'm quite young and not used to being in hospital. Overall a very good experience. Thank you.

As a cameraman that relies on driving for my job , it was crucial that I had my cataracts procedure performed at the earliest opportunity! It wasn’t straightforward because I had previously had laser eye surgery and an infection on one of my eyes that left a scar, so Rohit and his team had a challenging task having to work with that and having to do the refractive procedure ! Not only did he and his team fit me in promptly , the whole experience was stress free and I felt relaxed and comfortable throughout , they did everything they could to help! The end result is incredible and I am so overjoyed and can now return to work and drive! I highly recommend Mr Jolly and his wonderful team’

I cannot rate my experience highly enough. Mr. Thakur and Dr. Richard the anesthetist were extremely professional and supportive and took time to clearly explain the procedure and process and answer all of my questions. The nursing staff, Steph, Brian, Natalie and Til were fantastic looking after me post op and were very friendly and supportive. The pharmacy team took great care in explaining my medication and advising on the pain relief regime to follow. Gary from the Physio team was great at explaining the rehab exercises and putting me through my paces to make sure I started my recovery in the best way. A great team, please pass on my thanks.

dr ismail is one of the best doctors i have ever seen. I am mid 20s and I feel previous doctors have dismissed my symptoms [abnormal bleeding, pain and others] but dr ismail really listens to what i say. she has diagnosed me with pcos and noticed other irregularities that caused my symptoms and is working on treating them, making sure I understand everything as we go along. she is very knowledgeable, friendly and genuinely cares about patients rather than just solving the problem. she has really helped me and also is reassuring and makes me feel calm. could not recommend more if you are looking for a smart, caring, dedicated doctor.

5 star all the way. Kostas is the most friendly, caring and down to earth surgeon. I feel so lucky to have had his skills for my hip replacement surgery. Everything was explained clearly, and his reassurance gave me confidence to overcome any worries I had. I was well enough to return home the following day and able to take a short walk that afternoon. Amazing. Now 6 weeks later I am back at the gym, obviously taking care, and taking yoga classes. And with the neatest, and smaller than expected, scar which has already faded into insignificance. Great job. Thank you so much.

My visit for my hip operation was very calming, no stress involved as it was an operation. The nursing staff (Liam) was very helpful with information about my procedure timetable. After my operation I was looked after by 2 further nurses (Jan & Yvonne). They looked after my pain medication during the.night as well as the rest of my needs. Couldn’t have asked for better support, many thanks to them. The physio was round the next morning with crutches so I could walk and instructions on what I could and couldn’t do. Again very supportive which put me at ease.

Richard is, without question, the kindest and most effective therapist I’ve ever worked with. His confidence, evidently based on deep knowledge, is paired with his good humour and informal approach to create an extremely comfortable and supportive therapeutic environment. He has, and continues to support me with both the practical, day-to-day steps in my recovery from anorexia, as well as the deep and meaningful work needed to make that recovery robust. For anyone struggling with an eating disorder, I can not recommend and endorse Richard highly enough.

Service was good when I had the appointments Long wait times where I had no info at times, had to chase replies to my emails, particularly once where I got an email saying i would be able to book my appointment 'very soon' and then nothing for weeks More info before appointments would have been nice, what to expect / prepare, my second appointment I assumed was going to be the diagnosis but turned out to just be another round of questionnaire questions not with the psychiatrist

I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Awad as a consultant surgeon. Mr Awad operated on both my eyes to remove cataracts and to insert replacement premium lenses. Mr Awad put me at ease from our initial consultation and during both operations. He has a friendly but informative and very professional manner. I can honestly say he has changed my life as my vision now is beyond my expectations.

I was at the clinic for a 6 weeks post surgery appointment. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. I saw Kevin Bryceland. He showed me the xray of my new hip, explained the surgery and checked my progress. He was happy to answer any questions and explained the next steps. While it was busy in the clinic, Kevin took time to listen and I didn't feel rushed in any way.

On October 13th 2025 I had a breast reduction under Mr Nduka. I found everyone friendly, knowledgeable, kind and efficient. My operation went better, than I could have imagined. After care was attentive and genuine. Very happy with the whole experience, especially as I have never had an operation before and I am 57. I can’t thank everyone involved enough.
