If you are looking for an exceptional bariatric surgeon I cannot recommend Mr Jayanthi highly enough. He performed a gastric bypass on myself and other types of surgeries on people I know, he proves each time to be skilled, expert and very knowledgeable. Mr jayanthi works with a hand picked equally skilled team which together has left me in no doubt how fortunate I am to have found him and his workforce. My surgery results are hugely successful and my recovery journey and outcomes have been just as explained in detail beforehand and as expected. My aftercare immediately following surgery was extraordinary, I was monitored in a small dedicated ward with specialist staff performing nursing checks and monitoring throughout the remainder of the day and over night until morning. I was never on my own during this period and felt great care and attention was provided as a priority. I have also received many follow up, monitoring and advice appointments since my surgery where Mr Jayanthi has always taken time to respond to any queries I had informedly and intelligently. I was well provided and cared for by all staff at the Springfield hospital. I will always however remain paticularly grateful to Mr Jayanthi for his surgical mastery and attention to detail. I thought that I would drop you a note by way of some feedback. I came to your hospital yesterday for some “pre-med” bits, e.g. blood test, MRSA, ECG, BP, all in preparation for a procedure on my left thumb that is scheduled for 19th Feb with Chis James. I arrived about 15 minutes before the 12.30 appointment to be greeted by the quite delightful Margaret who promised to not to take too much blood!, so far so good, then off to see Aisha for the other bits to include the ECG. What a charming person Aisha was. I have to say that the whole process was quite remarkable, unlike many NHS environments where, its more that probable the appointment would run late, sometimes for very good reason. Certainly not so with your team at Ashford One. Super-efficient, smiley (esp. Margaret) a pleasure to visit, not often said when going to hospital. May I prevail on you to please pass on my grateful thanks to the two of them and of course all the “unseen” members of the team. All a credit to you.

I met with my surgeon online. The online facility works extremely well. I noticed that I was sent two new reminders of the meeting on the day with direct links. I like this new approach very much. As always, the surgeon, Prof J Murphy, was prompt and conducted the consultancy with detailed feedback, including the sharing onscreen of a third party report which was extremely helpful and informative. Prof J Murphy has an extremely open, honest and clear approach to discussing aspects of the individual patient’s health that are not easy to discuss. This allows the patient to feel their case is being carefully monitored, considered and options, going forward are shared and discussed with them. This surgeon engenders great trust in his review of information, liaison with others specialists, communication, surgical treatment and overall management of the individual patient’s case.

I had LASIK surgery with Allon Barsam yesterday, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. My vision feels unbelievably clear, almost like seeing through the eyes of a superhero. Allon guided me through every step of the procedure as it was happening, which made the entire experience feel calm, safe, and reassuring. The surgery was genuinely painless; there was one brief moment of discomfort that lasted no more than 10 seconds, and he calmly counted down the seconds so I knew exactly what to expect. My eyes stung a little afterwards, but after a short nap I woke up feeling completely fine. If you’re considering laser eye surgery, I can’t recommend it highly enough. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Thank you so much to Allon and the team at OCL.

I want to share my sincere thanks to the entire team at Nuffield Health for the exceptional care I received during my recent surgery. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly attentive and helpful. They were constantly checking on me to ensure I was comfortable, and they never made me feel rushed; they absolutely made sure I was feeling good and stable before they let me go home. The facility itself was impressively clean, which made me feel much more at ease, and I was pleasantly surprised that the food was actually great! The kindness and professionalism of the team made a stressful situation so much easier to handle. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of me.

I have visited the Private Eye Hospital on many occasions(the last one on 8.1.26)and have always found all the staff to be very friendly but professional.The service I have received on each occasion has been of the highest order.I would particularly like to mention my eye Consultant Sharmina Khan.She is without doubt the “jewel in the crown”for the Hospital.Anything involving your eyes is incredibly stressful.Sharmina has an amazing ability to put you at your ease and feel confident everything will be fine which it has been.If you read this review and require advice in relation to your eyes then I would have no hesitation in recommending this Hospital

Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital

No problems with check in or with the meeting with Mr Krkovic. However the hospital is showing signs of neglect. The loo in the corridor outside Trinity Suite had no paper towels and and a completely overflowed waste bin. The coffee machine in Trinity was broken in October and is still broken in January. The former quite serious, the latter not serious but to be not fixed over so many months suggests neglect and that always raises the possibility that things I can't see are also neglected. SIte management needs shake-up.

The clinic kindly found me an alternative slot the same day after I was unable to make the original appointment. Ms Seema Seetharam and the team I saw were all highly professional, approachable and kind. They answered my questions and gave me accessible information to help my understanding. They made a potentially very stressful experience much less stressful and I'm very grateful.

Both consultations with Mr Keenan were a pleasure. Appointment bookings were swift and flexible. His warm, and relaxed yet professional nature immediately settled my nerves. He was most thorough in his assessment and examination of my knee. My follow-up appointment was equally positive. While very informative, I later emailed with another question. The reply was extremely efficient, answering my question and providing additional, helpful information. I highly recommend Mr Keenan.

I have to admit I was scared but all the staff were lovely, relaxed and friendly but also confident in what they were doing. They all took time to explain what would be happening and answer my questions. They never rushed me. All this gave me confidence in them. For me the best part was getting the result on the day actually within a couple of hours. I would recommend this clinic to anyone I speak to in similar circumstances.

It was great to be able to see Mr Steven Lau at the Spencer, although a great shame that the NHS does not recognise crossover between private and public services. I had paid £250 to see Mr Lau for the same consultation as I had on 7th January, meaning that I am no further along the path of accessing the treatment I’ve waited 21 months for. I am grateful, however, that I’m accessing private services via the NHS
