Mr Drury takes time to explain things in a straightforward and non condescending way, very easy to speak to. Genuinely interested in his patients.

Thanks for taking the time for leaving a review- it is very satisfying you felt well informed and well looked after. All the best for the rest of your recovery.
Pre-Op, Took time and explained the procedure that was about to happen. Post Op, Took time to explain how procedure had went in the recovery room. Apologies as I was still a bit foggy and didnt retain much info but general positive news.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I’m really pleased to hear you felt well looked after and informed throughout your treatment. Wishing you continued progress with your recovery.
From start to finish it was first class. I was recommended him from a friend.. and after reading up on him, I decided I didn’t want anyone else to perform this knee replacement on me.. I’m so glad I did and can’t praise him high enough.. I highly recommend him to anybody.

This is so pleasing to hear that you were recommended and that the manner in which we were able to look after you reinforced this. It honestly is great to receive this feedback from you as it helps drive the continued improvement of how we can deliver the best care. All the best for your continued recovery.
I was quite nervous about having my second knee replacement because I had struggled with the recovery from my first one and was worried I would go through the same experience again. However, from the moment I came to Elanic and met Mr Drury and the team, I felt reassured. About two weeks after the operation, I became concerned that things weren’t going well and asked to see Mr Drury. He saw me quickly, listened to my concerns and explained that my recovery was progressing as expected. That appointment completely changed my mindset and gave me the confidence to keep going. Since then, I’ve gone from strength to strength and, just eight weeks after surgery, I’m back cutting the grass, enjoying time with my family and have even been away on holiday. I honestly couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Looking back, I’m so glad I decided to have my operation at Elanic with Mr Drury. The care I received was excellent, and I’d encourage anyone who is feeling nervous about surgery to trust the process and the team – it’s made a huge difference to my quality of life.

It gives us such a boost to hear how your recovery has gone so far. Normal life resumes- cutting grass and holidays and this is in a relatively short space of time. You made it very clear your past experience with surgery and as you say- by trusting the process- this time things appear to have been very different for you which, for me, is the most satisfying aspect. All the best!
The professionalism provided by Dr Drury was exceptional. From the initial consultation through to the treatment Itself Dr Drury was knowledgeable, reassuring and attentive. He took time to fully explain the procedure clearly and answered all of my questions thoroughly. The injection was given with skill and care. I would definitely recommend Dr Drury to anyone requiring treatment for knee pain.
From my first consultation till discharge everything was explained for what would happen incoming till discharge and everyone couldn’t do enough for me. Thanks so much for the experience. Only trivial thing was walking from Elanic to physio with a knee like mine was a struggle. Although it said 2 minutes on google maps I struggled to get there and back for my car in the car park at Elanic.
Colin Drury immediately put me at ease with his calm, pleasant, professional demeanour. He is very knowledgable and confident, explaining everything in a way that was easy to understand. I was very pleased to have him perform my knee replacement.
I was in hospital for a knee arthroscopy and everything went like clockwork . Colin came round pre op and fully explained what would happen and was happy to answer any questions with no rush. Shortly after the operation he came back to visit me and talked thr the operation and again was happy to Answer any questions . The operation went exactly as he advised . Everything was perfect and thoroughly recommend .
Mr Drury is an experienced, thoughtful, patient centred surgeon who is highly trained in both limb reconstruction and surgery around the knee.
