Mr Griffiths was extremely informative during the initial consultation and very responsive to my questions which made it easy for me to make the decision to go ahead with the hip replacement and the type to go for with minimum invasive surgery. He instilled confidence from the outset. The only aspect which caused me some degree of anxiety was not knowing what type of anaesthesia to choose for the procedure, until just before the operation ( the first in my medical history). JG had indeed advised that this would be the case but, during the months leading up to the op, I spoke with a number of friends/relations who relayed a range of experiences and a number giving their advice. A few had had GA and more went the local epidural route, although one of the latter had experienced far too much consciousness in terms of what was going on. I had read up about both and the various pros and cons ( info provided very helpful in this regard) and came along on the day with an open mind to confer with the anaesthetist, complete with my music and earphones if needed. In fact, after speaking with him it was easy to choose to go the local anaesthesia route and he put my mind at rest that he could sedate me so that I would not be aware of the procedure. I never finished listening to the first track of my music playlist ( I made sure I didn't have it on shuffle - my younger brother did for his hip replacement only to randomly get the track "the first cut is the deepest" to listen to at the start!!) I came round in recovery and all was complete. In some ways I would have liked to have had an early discussion with the anaesthetist so that I had made my decision ahead of the procedure rather than pondering it for so long. However that is a small negative compared to the outcome of the hip replacement with which I am extremely pleased. I had no leg swelling to speak of, very manageable pain, off crutches in 10 days and yesterday after 6 weeks walked some 11km mostly cross country. ( Walking distance had been the major problem instigating my hip replacement as that/hiking is an important part of my life). This has far exceeded my expectations and I am looking forwards to getting back on the tennis doubles court after a further 6 weeks of exercising and physio. If and when the other hip needs doing, I would have no hesitation in returning to Mr Griffiths again. Many thanks to him and the team.

Just over 4 weeks post-op from a total laparoscopic hysterectomy with left salpingo-oophorectomy, and I am feeling massively relieved and happy. Mr Duncan is a rare find: a surgeon who combines elite technical skill with genuine compassion. From the initial consultation to the post-op follow-up (where he patiently helped remove surgical glue and reassured me about my pathology results), he has been professional and composed. He successfully navigated a tricky surgery that required more incisions than originally expected, yet my recovery has been faster and less painful than I expected. Thank you for giving me my peace of mind back! p.s.: Special mention to his admin team who has been incredibly helpful and efficient.

At the outset I was nervous as the suspected bcc was in an awkward place. Mr Pollock talked through all the options with me and I was happy with the decision to go for a "small margin" in the first instance. The excision was done on 26th November. The surgery went well. Mr Pollock did an excellent job, particularly because it was around the mouth area. On 31st December I had a follow up appointment to find out the results. Mr Pollock reiterated the discussion we had previously had about the various options and then told me it was an infiltrative bcc with roots . I was very worried at the prospect of more surgery. He then told me he had successfully got it all out. Tip for next time: Maybe lead with "Its good news".

I had a day procedure at the Lindo Wing and the experience was excellent. The doctors and nurses were incredibly supportive, professional, and kind, which made a stressful situation much easier to cope with. The entire process, from arranging the initial consultation to scheduling the procedure, was handled very efficiently, with minimal waiting time. The medical staff took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable and well cared for throughout the day. The environment was calm, clean, and reassuring, and I truly felt that I was in very safe hands. I am very grateful for the care and compassion shown by the whole team.

Professor Chatrath is a sensational consultant. His 'bedside' (office) manner was quaint, kind yet direct with information provision/ instruction. His ability to quickly identify the issues I've been experiencing for a while and offer sufficient paths to ease & eventual remediation were first class and I've made tremendous steps already towards fully recovering from my right-side eustachian tube dysfunction! I couldn't recommend Professor Chatrath enough to anyone with ENT-related health issues/ concerns/ worries etc... The staff as Spire Hartswood were, as ever, fabulous too! Miss Umarji is a caring and professional orthopaedic surgeon . She was determined to make my symptoms better . Having consulted with another orthopefiac surgeon in march when my symptoms first started were there was no treatment suggested , Miss Umarji sent me to do MRI and RXay on the day and alíviate my symptoms by providing a steroid injection . I am very pleased she saw how important my hands were for my daily living and was not going to leave them to deteriorate any further . The rest, is my responsibility to continue with the hand exercises and antiinflamatorio diet . I highly recommend Miss Umarji .

The Clinic was a little difficult to find but once there the staff were excellent and very efficient. My appointment was on time and the waiting area was warm and comfortable. The consultant was very helpful and explained everything and answered all my questions. I wasn’t rushed or meant to feel unimportant. The nurse was helpful and reassuring. There had been an administrative problem that I had mentioned to the lady on arrival and that was completely sorted out by the time I left which was extremely efficient. On my order I specifically asked for CAPSULES of paracetamol not Tablets. The turn around was quick but I realized when receiving 3 boxes of tablets no care had been taken to check the medecine. When I asked for a return label they asked for photos and description of the packaging of which I cant do . I'm over 90 and not familiar with taking photos and being a simple mistake in product I didn't understand. I will never use these people again and wil never recommend them. My order #
