I have been under the care of Dr Alistair Ring since September 2024, and from my very first visit to The Royal Marsden, I knew I had made the right decision to begin chemotherapy there. During our initial consultation, Dr Ring immediately put me at ease, even though I had just received a difficult test result minutes before our meeting. He took the time to explain the Oncotype test for example and the treatment options available, making it clear that every step of my care would be centred around me. Dr Ring’s attention to detail and his encouragement to ask questions gave me great confidence and helped me feel empowered throughout my treatment. Following chemotherapy, I began medication that induced menopause, and thanks to his early guidance on potential side effects and how to manage them, I felt fully prepared. I also appreciate that he has been open to ongoing conversations about my treatment, including exploring HRT options, this openness means a great deal. The clinical staff at The Royal Marsden have been exceptional. They have consistently provided compassionate, professional care, and I genuinely look forward to seeing them at each follow-up. They remember small details and speak to me as a person, not just a patient, which makes every visit a positive experience. I cannot recommend Dr Ring and The Royal Marsden highly enough. I am deeply grateful for the outstanding care and support I have received and continue to receive from the entire team.

When interacting with Gary, it's clear how passionate he is about his work. He is very knowledgeable, a leader in his field and it's clear that his main goal is to help families. When we wanted to book an appointment with Gary but we could not make the next available appointment which meant we would have to wait a few weeks, he kindly arranged a phone call to give us some advice in the meantime. When we visited Gary's clinic he was great with our baby, asked lots of questions to understand our concerns, listened and paid attention to the details. We left Gary's clinic with a clear plan of how to move forward and tackle the allergy and our baby's eczema. which he also sent us on email. He kindly offered us his email address should we have any further questions. Overall we had a great experience with Gary and would recommend him to anyone who has a child with allergies.

I was taken into a room that was obviously not cleaned after the last patient as their clothes were still there. My postop instructions were to stay warm. I was absolutely freezing after surgery because the nurses turned the heat down to suit another patient. I was on the end bed and no one came to check on me for ages so I couldn’t get another blanket. I told the nurses at least three times that I don’t eat dairy. I then had cow’s milk and dairy butter placed in front of me which is offensive. The nurses paid a lot of attention to the person next to me, but rarely checked on me. I felt overlooked. By this point, I just wanted to go home but again they prioritised other patients so I was late to leave.

Karen was so lovely to speak with over the phone regarding my daughter’s issues that’s she’s had with eczema and allergies. I thought it would be a 10 minute check in but the call with Karen lasted the hour. I did not feel rushed and my concerns were listened to. Karen gave really great advise around adding things to diet that may help my little one and reminding me of all the things I can incorporate to ensure I am covering all food groups and possible allergens. Throughout my experience Dr. Al-Kari unhurriedly took the time to discuss and explain the procedure of removing my gallbladder. Pre-operation I felt relaxed and confident of his ability. Immediately after the operation I appreciated his bedside conversation telling abut my individual procedure and the consultation which would be arranged for 2-3 weeks later. At every stage I have been entirely satisfied and would not hesitate in recommending him to others or returning to his care for any further surgery.

The building was easy to find and receptionist greeted me with a smile. I was really nervous for my allergy testing after suffering an anaphylaxis and I was put at ease straight away by Dr Rutkowski. He was super informative explaining why I could have had the reaction, explained what would happen with the testing and the control he had of any reaction occurred. He talked the whole time what he was doing next which really helped me feel less terrified.

The combination of therapies under one roof is Castle Craig's strong point and a great team of staff, all really friendly and helpful. I was here for six weeks and the intensive therapy schedule has been extremely beneficial for me. Family therapy was helpful and I'm working hard to mend the relationships in my family. The fitness sessions were a highlight, the staff got me moving and thinking about healthy living after years of alcohol abuse.

Must admit I was very worried about the procedure, however Aris explained everything to me and was very patient and kind. If anyone requires Eye Surgery I would say he is an Amazing Surgeon and if possible get him to treat you. Since the Operation my Eyesight is just fantastic - it was well worth the worry .
