Mr Malec was recommended to me by a nurse friend and fellow horserider, who'd done all the research and had chosen Mr Malec at Rowley Hall in Stafford for her husbands future knee replacements. I'm so glad I went with her recommendation as Mr Malec is the best. He's kind, reasuring and just a nice man as well as being a great knee surgeon. My operation went without issue 6 weeks ago and today after a check up with Mr Malec and Andy the PT, on the progress I've made, I have passed with flying colours. My xray looks great and I have a good solid, painfree and stable knee where once I had the opposite of all those. I'm now looking forward to walking again in the hills that I've missed and the riding, the swimming and even the small things like walking down the stairs. Its early days but what an amazing change already after 6 weeks. I'm reborn. Cannot thank Mr Malec enough. He's changed my life as it was, I can clearly see that will be ongoing into the future with a smile. Onwards and upwards! Thankyou Mr Makec and your team.

The team at Newmedica from the receptionists to the optometrists, nurses and Mr Anjari my consultant were so welcoming and made me feel at ease from the moment I arrived. I was quite anxious about having cataract surgery, but the team made me feel relaxed each time I visited. Mr Anjari was very reassuring and spent time helping me decide which lenses were right for me. The surgery was quick, and painless - so efficient., I had no need to worry about going back for the second one. The aftercare was excellent too with a phone check up and another thorough appointment. Mr Anjari helped me choose Galaxy lenses … I can’t believe how clearly I can see near and far ! It is nothing short of miraculous after living in a blur for years! I am now able to read the smallest print yet look across a field and identify birds in the trees. I’ll be forever thankful to Mr Anjari and his team for the transformation of my sight.

I wanted to share how positive my most recent visit to Bristol Menopause Clinic was. From the moment I arrived, I felt truly listened to, believed and validated. My experiences of PMDD and perimenopause were taken seriously, without minimising or rushing, and I felt fully supported in making decisions about my care. Since the appointment, I genuinely cannot believe the difference I feel within myself. The impact on my wellbeing has been significant, both emotionally and physically, and for the first time in a long while I feel hopeful and grounded in my body again. Compassionate, knowledgeable and person-centred care makes such a difference, and this clinic offers exactly that. I arrived at 8.50 for a 9 am appointment. Was taken for a urine test which was irrelevant to why I was there and I never saw any results of. At 9.01 I saw the Dr arriving in the clinic. I was told she had a telephone appointment. At 9.15 I saw a patient leave her consulting room and was eventually seen. Despite having filled out the pre questionaire with my medication Dr Carulli couldn't find it but instead wanted to go through them. But then in her covering letter to my GP missed out significant ones like statins. Dr Carulli listed herself as a specialist in Osteoporosis but didn't seem to know a lot - at one point asking why there were two scores in my DEXA scan (one is the T score one is the z score a WEB MD search can tell you that...).

Very pleasing experience. I was given plenty of time, and had a thorough examination of my ears, with the removal of wax, followed by a full hearing test. I returned a couple of weeks later, and having been shown several different hearing aids, went for ones that fit into the ear, with no wires or pieces behind the ear. I now have them on a months trial to see how I get on with them. I was quoted a price, which I understand I will pay if these are the correct ones for me, but only when I am totally satisfied. There is then a 3 monthly check included in the price. I believe I can try others if these are not right for me, and Mr Clive who I saw, was most helpful and understanding of a lady who hated the idea of wearing hearing aids!

I had been experiencing tingling and numbness in the fingers of my right hand which Ms Umanji identified as carpal tunnel syndrome. At my initial consultation she gave me an injection in the right wrist which immediately relieved the sensations. Unfortunately, as predicted, the relief was temporary and a second consultation resulted in an operation to release the trapped nerve. Ms Umanji explained very clearly what to expect and her forthright and practical manner reassured me during the operation. Six weeks later the wound has healed very cleanly and I have full sensation in the fingers of the right hand hand allowing me to function normally.

Miss Hazlerrigg and her team have been incredibly supportive, reassuring and positive in what had been quite a traumatic horse riding accident. It has been over a year following my accident, surgery, post op and rehabilitation/ physiotherapy. This was my first experience of the Hillsborough Private Clinic and the staff were very professional, knowledgeable and welcoming. While this is an older style building is was well set out and immaculately clean and while I appreciate that space is at a premium a groundlevel toilet facility would be an asset as while I have no mobility issues I can see where climbing stairs to the bathroom could be an issue for some.

This establishment is warm and welcoming and really has mase a difference to my daughters tone management on a daily basis. We gain remarkable skills and techniques on how to aid my daughters high tone.
