He explained what he was seeing throughout the scan, which was incredibly reassuring and gave me complete confidence in the accuracy of the assessment. He got the report sent over to my surgeon straight away which was really great as I could have a follow up appointment within the week. After extensive research, my husband and I agreed that Vincenzo Maurino was the best person to perform our lens replacement surgery. This has helped ensure the treatment is as smooth as possible and that my recovery is progressing well. His availability is great, and I genuinely feel supported throughout the treatment process for both conditions. Adrian works incredibly hard during every session, from start to finish, so I always feel I’m getting great value for money. Excellent consult. Unfriendly reception. Not particularly clean. The worst part the hospital didn’t order my medication. Said to my consultant we can get it tomorrow. He was down from Scotland. Only for the day. I was travelling to London. So he went and got it from another hospital. Next time I see him we won’t be coming there!

Unfortunately I had to wait for 40 minutes to be seen. This was disappointing as I had changed the time of my appointment in response to a request from the Oaks. The staff were very pleasant as was Dr Tang. No problem there. The waiting area was too small and cramped.
