I had done lot of research prior to my initial consultation, upon meeting Mr Hoo, I knew that Mr Hoo would be my surgeon of choice. Mr Hoo answered all of my questions, showed me before and after photos of previous surgeries and I felt reassured with my decision. I meet with Pauline (Mr Hoo’s nurse) who answered any further questions and discussed post operative restrictions etc with me. On the morning of the surgery, I met with Mr Hoo to answer any questions and complete markings. I was not nervous at all as I felt in very safe hands. Mr Hoo’s professionalism and caring nature was evident from the onset which I feel contributed to my calmness pre theatre. Mr Hoo came to see me post surgery and to answer any further questions. From my initial meeting I knew that I would be in safe hands, I would highly recommend Mr Hoo.

Pleasant waiting area with self-service drinks available. Within an hour you are called and escorted into the preparation/recovery room where you are prepared for the operation and the procedure is explained including a visit from the surgeon to check if you have any questions. The operation takes place in the adjacent theatre where again efforts are made to keep you informed as to what’s happening and before you know it you are escorted back to your recovery area for water and a biscuit. Staff were pleasant and attentive at all times. Once thoroughly checked out you return to the waiting area to be collected by your escort who has already been called to say your are ready for collection. I was back home within 2 hours

As always, very thorough, great manner - anyone unlucky enough to have a heart condition will always be super lucky to have Dr Kalra look after them. My consultant and treatment was excellent although getting output through to the correct department was time consuming. Also the support nurses struggled to take blood and was only successful on the fourth nurse’s attempt after a wait of over three hours. A great experience for my ear wax removal, Dr Allamsetty & team explained throughout so I knew what was happening and what to expect. It can be strange when someone is rummaging about in your ears but when they are blocked getting them microsuctioned is one of the best things you can do, Professional throughout - would highly recommend.
