Chapter One Dental Clinic

Dr Chris fitted my Four on Four set of implants. I am a nervous patient and have had distressing experiences at the dentist in the past. Chris was extremely supportive with all of my appointments and managed to calm my nerves. Dr Ashley had previously treated me for an emergency appointment when I had sudden toothache. She has a very calm manner and was really reassuring. The practice is beautiful - spotlessly clean and very nicely decorated. Although I don’t drink coffee my husband really appreciated the delicious brew! I also love the Community library box. A nice thoughtful touch. I would definitely recommend the practice to anyone looking for a reassuring experience and excellent treatment.

Really welcoming and relaxing enviroment, great treatment and didn't feel anxious in the dental surgery. Ashley and dental assistant so skilled and found the chair and feel of the room helped me feel not stressed.

I appreciated how clearly the information was communicated, along with the different treatment options available. Everything was explained in a way that felt transparent and informative. Ashley has been taking care of my teeth for many years. I immediately moved dental practice to follow her at Chapter One. Beautiful new premises and always a warm welcome.

I had a hygienist clean with Ashley, who was very attentive and gentle. However, the nurse forgot to put Vaseline on my lips despite a gentle reminder. I had very sensitive dry lips with tiny blister spots on the lip line within 24 hours. Also the skin on the chin to that side of the lip became very sensitive and itchy. This was very uncomfortable for roughly a week. Note this was not the first time I had this type of hygienist clean and I never had an issue. As they always put Vaseline on. Apart from this, I feel like the nurse was a bit rusty or nervous? She was not very proficient in what she had to do. I felt a bit of rush, which didn’t make me feel calm, also the movement of the suction pipe was not gentle enough so the water bits was splashing everywhere on my face everywhere. Overall, the dentist was very good compared to my experience with my usual dentist clinic, but the nurse was below expectation. Considering the discomfort I had afterwards, I really can’t recommend this place to my friends which is a shame as we’d really appreciate a dentist in the neighbourhood

Overwhelmingly a postive experience. Absolutely delighted with my treatment snd care. Dr Ashley so gentle, caring and knowledgeable. No one had ever told me so much about my teeth - impressive! I had the most amazing scans that produced 3D images of my mouth! I have a complex dental history but feel very reassured that I am in expert hands.
