Dr. Peeva has supported me through both the birth of my son in 2023 and daughter in 2026. Having her by my side for both births provided me with such a deep sense of security and peace of mind. She is not only an expert in her field but also an incredible support system for the entire family. If you are looking for a doctor who is both highly skilled and genuinely compassionate, she is the one. Her care is exceptional, and she consistently goes above and beyond to make her patients feel supported and heard.

Dr Peeva is an impressive doctor. She has fabulous bedside manner and makes you feel like family. She has a vast wealth of knowledge yet is always prepared for the individual specifics of my appointment and situation. I would highly recommend her in pregnancy and am so grateful to have found her through a friend.

I had the most amazing experience with Peeva. I’d been told via the NHS my baby had a “right aortic arch” this meant a number of things including potential syndromes in the baby. I was incredibly distressed when attending my appointment but Dr Peeva instantly put me at ease. She was incredibly knowledgable about absolutely everything. She was above all compassionate which was needed in my appointment.

Dr Peeva changed mine and my partner's lives. We live in Portugal and thankfully we decided to have our child in the UK. The Portland Hospital recommended her, and we are very happy we chose to go ahead with Dr Peeva. She made me feel safe from the minute I stepped into her office, when during my entire pregnancy I had felt the opposite with other professionals. The day before my induction, she offered to do an ultrasound at no extra charge. During that scan, she identified that our baby had the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck twice; incredibly important information that, in my view, many doctors might not have picked up at that stage. Due to this, Dr Peeva made sure everything was prepared for an emergency c section in case it became needed. Because of her foresights, we were able to deliver our baby safely within a matter of minutes when things got complicated. I could not have asked for someone more knowledgeable, dedicated and caring, and I will for sure be coming back for the delivery of my second baby one day. I feel I owe my daughter's life to Dr Peeva.

This review is 4 years later than it should be, because I only today came across the scan code to do a review. 4 years or 40 years, I will never forget the magnificent Dr Gergana Peeva who delivered our second and final child for our family. I had a very traumatic experience when I was forced into an elective c section at another hospital with our first child, the choice to have a natural birth was taken from me despite my having no medical issues but because I was an older mum, the Dr strongly advised it and as I didn’t know any better, i made the mistake of listening to the Dr. It took me many years to recover from the traumatic c section when induction failed. So second time around, I chose Homerton Hospital as I read many good things on the Care Commission website. When my waters broke, I made it clear at the hospital I wanted to have a natural birth, the difference it the nurses and Dr’s listened to me this time and this really made all the difference to me both mentally and emotionally. After 2 days and much helpful, caring and understanding dialogue between the Dr’s and myself, I agreed to a c section. But this time it was my decision and it was because I understood natural birth was not progressing which was harmful to the baby. Dr Peeva took me aside and gently explained things and we went through my concerns. The nurse who assisted, I can’t remember her name due to the years that have passed, I think her name was Genesis, was also wonderful in her care towards me. Dr. Peeva was absolutely exceptional. She looked after me throughout my pregnancy and performed my C-section with great skill. The care I received during my pregnancy was outstanding and both the surgery and recovery went smoothly. I experienced almost no pain after the surgery, was able to move freely right away with no help needed! And my scar is barely visible. She is not only an excellent doctor but also a wonderful person. I truly felt I was in the best hands during my pregnancy and I can't thank her enough.
