I think Mr Tailor quite possibly has saved my life! He diagnosed my womb cancer on the 1st December 2022. My case was not straight forward. I also have Crohns Disease and a decision had to be made whether to take my large bowel out at the same time as doing a radical hysterectomy. Mr Tailor took the time to explain everything to me carefully. He was honest but in an encouraging way. He was always on hand if I was worried, anxious or had questions. And I mean always! Out of hours and at weekends. Amazing! I was terrified I would not wake up after such a major operation but I put my my faith and trust in Mr Tailor and on 3rd January had the surgery. I have recovered from this surgery quicker and better than any surgery I have had before and trust me, I have had lots of abdominal surgery due to the Crohns Disease. I am not out of the woods yet. I am having radiotherapy to be followed by Brachytherapy followed by chemotherapy. I am Stage 3a, Grade 3 clearcell. The tumour was large but Mr Tailor was confident he removed all of the cancer. When I found out I had cancer, I thought I was going to die. I don't think that now and that is largely down to Mr Tailor. He got things done quickly. Mr Tailor was professional and caring throughout and explained everything in detail making sure I understood my surgery and recovery in detail. I did not experience any problems under his care.
