I was so fortunate to have had Dr Taylor’s care for my open abdominal surgery. Dr Taylor is not only highly skilled surgeon, but also a truly kind dedicated, knowledgeable consultant. He was so patient with me, always took as much time as I needed to listen to me and talk to me at every step of my procedure. I was very relaxed before the surgery as I knew I was in safe hands . He was there when I woke up from the surgery to inform me all went well and he visited to check on me almost every day during my stay at the hospital. My recovery has been on track so far without any complications. Dr Taylor is very organised and I was able to message him directly and always received quick responses from him which is very reassuring. Even he has updated about my surgery and the outcome of it to my GP directly on the same day. I was so impressed with that. I cannot recommend Dr Taylor highly enough. The administrative processes are not always easy to naviagate but the staff at the hospital are professional and helpful. Staff on reception seem well briefed on what information is needed from patients. Clinical staff - both on the wards and in the CT scanning teams were professional and reassuring. It would be useful - for people accompanying a patient for a procedure - to have some information about facilities available to them. I was at the hospital for 12 hours and the only way to get something to eat was to go out of the hopsital to buy it. It would have been helpful to have some catering available on site - if only by machine.

This is a truly excellent service. I had been to another ear wax removal specialist a few days earlier who had failed to unblock my ears after half an hour of trying. I have a particular shape of ear canal that causes the wax to sit stubbornly on the ear drum. Rekesh is very personable and knowledgable and has a lovely comfortable treatment room. Within a few minutes he had completely unblocked both my ears, almost effortlessly. I was delighted and I highly recommend this service.
