I couldn’t find where I needed to go at first due to the CT scanner lorry being in front of the hospital sign and no other sign and map showing where the Spencer hospital was. When I did find it and after filling in my paperwork I had to go to the fracture clinic where my appointment was. There were no signs to say where to sit (a simple sign saying Spencer hospital patients please wait here would have helped). A lot of patients were wandering around aimlessly trying to work out where to go. It took those of us that had worked it out t tell them. I waited over half an hour for my appointment (I know things get behind and different patients need longer).

I started this journey with Dr Christian so it was great to actually have him be around today - at this point. Dr Christian is always calm, friendly and professional. I developed a lot of trust with him because of his directness and professionalism that today I felt I was in safe hands and could relax through the process. Talking through the process throughout the procedure and encouraging me was also great as it contributed making me feel safe. Wow I don't know where to start. Upon referral, I received an appointment after two weeks. I was shocked. The member of staff that called me was very clear and informative. The pre appointment pack was sent well ahead of time. Instructions were very clear. On the day ALL the staff were welcoming professional and efficient. They made me feel calm. I felt like one of the family. This is THE BEST NHS team I have come across in the many years. They left me speechless, I thought I was receiving private care. FIRST CLASS!!!

My first time visiting and straight away was greeted by friendly reception, who made conversation while I was waiting which was only less than 2mins I was introduced to friendly ear consultant, which explained everything to me clear, and ask relevant questions. While I had the procedure done I was made comfortable during this time. From reception to outpatients all staff were friendly and helpful. I didn’t have a tea or coffee but it’s nice to know it’s there if one wants a hot drink. On the way out to the car park I did nearly trip and fell over due to uneven ground and no lighting. This is my only complaint. My ankle nearly gave way on me but I managed to prevent myself from falling. I would advise a resurface and some serious lighting be put into the car park as soon as possible please.

All the doctors, psychiatric nurses and reception team are outstanding. It's a small thing, but I wish that there was hand cream supplied in the toilets. This may not be the "fault" of The London Psychiatry Centre as they do not own the building, but they could put in a request to the appropriate people. I spend thousands of pounds there so it would be a small but appreciated gesture. Even my hair dressing salon supplies hand cream!

The assessment appointment was a very positive experience. The practitioner was very clear, professional, understanding and empathic. I felt I had time to answer questions and the practitioner checked in regularly to see if I needed to add anything or needed a break. Overall, I felt comfortable to talk to the practitioner and felt they were interested and worked hard to ensure I was clear at all times of what was happening.

Really good treatment at PRI from all the staff. Having had a bilateral hip replacement, the first week it was a bit tough. I’m so glad I had it done as pain has virtually gone. I was sent to Pitlochry hospital for a few days. That helped tremendously as well, especially with ongoing physio. Mr Sargent was very patient and explained things clearly.
