Delamere has been a godsend to me. From the first moment I contact them to the final day of my stay, they were warm, professional and caring. Each and every member of staff, from the cleaning teams to the senior leaders has the best interests of guests at heart. Delamere is a caring and friendly community which focuses on the needs of the individual, but in such a way that the programme does not feel over-medicalised. The care and attention given from the nursing team is second to none and nothing is too much trouble. They explain everything to you in a way you can understand and always have time for questions or queries. The guest liaison team are approachable and helpful as well as supportive and kind. The quality of the group session is excellent and well-thought through to support you on you recovery journey. This is exemplified by the outstanding quality of therapy and mentoring I received throughout my time at Delemere. The chefs are excellent and proved a nutritious and balanced diet which is excellent quality. The team as re also friendly and welcoming. What was special about Delemere is the personal touch. Every member of staff knew your name and was happy to chat about any issues you might have at any time of day. I cannot thank the staff enough for the opportunity they have given me to get my life back on track. I wholeheartedly recommend Delemere for anyone needing their expertise and support.

Everything great, but I would suggest that the reception team focus on the clients in front of them, rather than managing the phones at the same time – I wonder if phones could be managed somewhere away from reception, as every time I had to go back to the desk or passed it by there were people standing waiting being ignored because the reception team we’re doing other things, which doesn’t make a great first impression or mean that people feel cared about or important. This was the case at both the main entrance reception and the outpatient reception. Again, everything was great and everybody was lovely. But also to say that I was asked to come early but not told that I would be having an x-ray in advance, so I arrived 15 minutes prior to my appointment, then had to go for my x-ray and ended up not being seen until 40 minutes past my appointment time, which was the original time, before they moved it to an earlier slot! It didn’t really matter on this occasion, but it’s just a little inefficient and it would’ve been nice to have some clarity as to what to expect when I arrived and I could’ve also arrived in time for the x-ray prior to my appointment had I’ve been told, also I could’ve filled the forms in prior to arriving if they’ve been emailed. No complaints about anything though, and very happy with the service and care overall

I was recently and specifically referred by my optician to Saphire Eye Care and Prof. Luff to have treatment on my cataracts. Over recent years I have suffered from oedema in my retina which was now relatively stable and I wanted to receive the highest level of treatment so as to avoid any impact on my retina and a return to the sight problems that I had previously. I understood that there was potential for this to occur with normal cataract surgery. From the time my first appointment was made by Jennie, the medical secretary, through to the cataract procedures I was supported and cared for at every stage. Prof. Luff was very approachable, explained everything, and dvised me on the type of lens suitable for my eyes. The cataract procedure only took about 15 to 20 minutes, was totally painless and as it turned out was nothing to be worried about at all. My resulting eyesight is extremely good and any potential impact on my retina was completely avoided. I can only give Saphire Eye Care and Prof. Luff the highest praise and recommendation. If anyone is concerned about having treatment on.their eyes, eyesight is so important that I would say don't leave it too late and Prof. Luff and Saphire Eye Care is the first port of call that I would recommend.

I recently had my gall bladder removed and from the first meeting to the final appointment after the procedure my experience in the hands of Mr Aly was first class. His manner and the way to explain everything was simply amazing. I am not in any way medically trained neither had many experiences with regard to medical treatments. Dr Aly left no stone unturned and gave detailed answers to all my questions.. I felt so comfortable and he instilled so much confidence in the entire procedure. His vast experience in his field is clear to see and I would recommend his service to anyone looking for this kind of treatment. I can truly say he is one of his best in his field. Top class!

Professor Miranda made me feel at ease as soon as we met for the first time. He looked at the problem with my hand and explained that it was something called Dupuytrens Constriction and that it was possible to improve my hand shape by an operation. He explained in detail the procedure for an operation which I then agreed to. All went well a now 2 months after the operation and with the necessary physiotherapist, the finger that was bent is now straight and not giving me pain any more. I would recommend anyone to Professor Miranda for any surgery required on their hands. He was kind, understanding and had a sense of humour, my whole experience was made easy by his demeanour.

All the staff at Visio have been friendly, professional and highly skilled. Communication is a key to their success and being able to reassure the patient and keep them fully informed. Giving the gift of clear vision. Back to a patient is an amazing thing and they clearly take great pleasure and pride in being able to give that gift. I shaved without my glasses for the first time in many years, I can drive and get about my daily business without glasses. I am actually typing this out on my phone without glasses. If you were glasses for everything you will understand how happy I am not to have to rely on them now. Thank you Visio.

My experience at the McIndoe centre was incredible. Throughout my surgery and stay the entire team were incredibly kind and caring. I was given plenty of reassurance prior to my surgery, everyone involved during my surgery was incredibly professional and the aftercare following my surgery was incredible. All of my nurses were incredibly kind and helpful and made the process so much easier. I had a great private room and bathroom, and the food was also great! Cannot recommend the McIndoe centre enough, they will be my first choice should I have any more procedures in future

Overall a good experience except the wait time for the report. The clinicians were professional and friendly. The administration staff were also professional and helpful. The reports are very thorough, clear and professional. The report was over 4 weeks past the date it was expected / had been told. This proved to be extremely stressful. For me it would have been better to advertise a longer wait time and deliver it sooner rather than the other way around. Of course I accept that delays can occur. Overall a good experience and would recommend. Thank you.

Facility was excellent, nice and clean as well as lovely and quiet. Instructions weee clear, and the receptionist was extremely friendly, as were the nursing staff I saw. The surgeon I spoke to was excellent, everything was explained and he was more than happy to explain things in more detail if I required, and I didn’t feel pressured to leave, as if I was taking too much of his time. My overall experience was excellent, I couldn’t have asked for anything more.

The experience overall was good once seen by clinical staff. Had to wait 15 minutes after planned appointment time, 30 minutes in total after being told to be there 15 minutes before appointment. I understand than clinically time may run over, but there was no communication which would have been useful. I wonder if specific reception staff for the vein clinic would be helpful. Waiting area would also benefit from coffee machine for relatives waiting.
