Alongside his NHS role, he sees private patients at Nuffield Health Parkside Hospital, OneWelbeck and Spire St Anthony’s Hospital.
Dr Moodley’s approach is practical and patient-centred. He aims to provide a focused neurological assessment, a clear explanation of symptoms, and an agreed plan for investigation and treatment, with a strong emphasis on helping patients understand their symptoms and management options.
He sees patients with a broad range of neurological concerns, including headache disorders, balance problems, sensory symptoms, weakness, memory and cognitive symptoms, and neurological symptoms following injury or illness. His main clinical interests include general neurology, acute neurology, headache disorders, cerebrospinal fluid disorders — including intracranial hypotension and normal pressure hydrocephalus — and cognitive disorders such as mild cognitive impairment, dementia and cognitive symptoms after acquired brain injury.
Dr Moodley also assesses patients with peripheral nerve and muscle disorders,
movement disorders, neuroinflammatory conditions and post-stroke neurological
complications.

A great listener and made me feel at ease, with clear idea of next steps to get to the bottom of my issues
Dr Moodley was generous with his time. He listened to my difficulties and gave me clear explanations as to what might be causing my issues. He swiftly provided me with a detailed letter to give to my GP which will help me navigate further testing. Overall a positive experience.
Have been dealing with a problem for quite some time, and finally feel like i’ve been heard and are on the right steps to treatment. Excellent.
Excellent experience. Thorough examination. Clear advice. Quick action taken.
Dr Moodley was professional and thoroughly explained my issues and next steps. Would highly recommend.
Appointment with Dr. Moodley 5th March 2026 I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Moodley for the first time on 5th March 2026 at St Anthony's Hospital. I had a previous brain injury and then discovered through having a MRI brain scan for my ear problem, that I had had a micro-haemorrhage. This led to extreme anxiety, as my mother had vascular dementia for the last four years of her life, caused by a brain micro-haemorrhage. Prior to my appointment, I sent Dr Moodley a copy of my past history, current problems and medication. He had taken the trouble to study these in detail, which greatly helped his understanding of my fears and risk factors relating to my increased likelihood of dementia as a result of the injury and micro-haemorrhage. I was concerned that Dr Mooley might feel I was being irrational and overreacting, but he immediately put me at ease, listening to my concerns with empathy and respect. He explained in detail the risk factor of the MRI micro-haemorrhage was not as high as I feared, but that I needed to be aware that the real risk factors would be my age and vascular risk,m taking into consideration my cardio/vascular problems. A plan was made for me to have a further brain scan, a transthoracic ECHO and a second opinion from a cardiologist. Appointment with Dr Moodley 30th April 2026, Dr. Moodley saw me again and was able to reassure me that my second MRI brain scan finding had not changed. He reviewed and increased my medication to ensure that my blood pressure is under control. He requested the GP to monitor my cardiac and vascular risk. Dr. Mo...
