Dr Kuven Moodley is a Consultant Neurologist based in London at New Malden Diagnostic Centre, Spire St Anthony's Hospital and Onewelbeck. His NHS base is St George's Hospital, where he led the development of the Trust's Acute Neurology Service.
Dr Moodley completed his primary medical qualification at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa. He moved to London in 2005 and began specialising in Internal Medicine and Care of the Elderly. In 2010, he switched higher training to neurology after developing an interest in neurodegenerative and neurovascular disease. In 2016, he was awarded his MD for his research work in neurodegenerative dementia by Brighton and Sussex Medical School. Dr Moodley is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians.
Dr Moodley has specialist expertise in headache, cognitive disorders, CSF disorders (including Hydrocephalus and intracranial hypotension), and Acute Neurology.
Dr Moodley has published his research in several internationally recognised medical journals alongside his clinical work. He has completed the Bond Solon Expert Witness Certificate (Civil Law) at Cardiff University.

From my initial consultation with Dr Moodley, given I was going through a very difficult stage with a potential new diagnosis. I had an initial consultation with Dr. Moodley during which he listened carefully to what I had to say, asked insightful questions about my condition and carried out initial tests to assess me. He was very empathetic, supportive and conscientious. As a result of this initial consultation, an MRI scan was arranged. Dr Moodley explained the results clearly and outlined the next steps. He was very prompt in referring me for further investigation and treatment. His clinical expertise and conscientious approach gave me confidence and enable me to be treated promptly. I have since made a very good recovery. I highly recommend Dr Moodley.
