Academic Background:
Dr Chan is a senior neurologist with subspeciality expertise in the diagnosis and management of memory disorders, Alzheimer disease and other diseases causing dementia.
He qualified from the University of Cambridge in 1993 and holds dual research doctorates in basic and clinical neuroscience. As well as his consultant neurologist position he is an honorary associate professor at the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience, University College London.
