About Dr Maciej Marciniak
Dr Marciniak trained at St George's and St Thomas' Hospitals, where he undertook comprehensive training in all aspects of adult general cardiology with a sub-specialty interest in coronary intervention (angioplasty). He has a full-time clinical commitment in adult cardiology which includes diagnostic cardiac catheterisation, coronary angioplasty (including complex PCI - rotablation, left main stenting, chronic total occlusion angioplasty), as well as implantation of permanent pacemakers.
Dr Marciniak is an experienced cardiologist, having performed more than 1,000 angioplasties. He is currently leading complex angioplasty and CTO (chronic total occlusion) programmes at East Surrey Hospital.
In his spare time, Dr Marciniak enjoys nothing more than spending time with his wife and two children. He is also a keen photographer including aerial and drone photography.

Dr Marciniak is an excellent Consultant Cardiologist. I was immediately put at ease during my first appointment and I left feeling completely reassured about my forthcoming treatment.

Dr Marciniak was welcoming from the get go. He was extremely thorough, patient and understanding throughout the entire consultation. I was not rushed and was given the opportunity to explain my symptoms from start to finish, and made me feel listened to. He ensured I understood everything which was explained to me, allowed me to ask questions and explained the next steps clear and concisely. For some, being within a hospital setting can be daunting but Dr Marciniak makes it the total opposite.
Very comfortable and detail consultation . After reading dr Marciniak’s letter I was surprised with a statement that I drunk more than one glass of wine a day . I said I usually drink just one or nine glass of wine a day . If I go out I may have more… Dr Marciniak also suggested that I should attend an appointment I have arranged in East Surrey on the 18 th of June. I also have not agreed to CT scan yet .
