Dr Andy Zamar is a leading consultant psychiatrist and founder of The London Psychiatry Centre, where he provides highly personalised and compassionate care. Qualifying in medicine in 1989 at Cairo, Dr Zamar went on to earn Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Royal College of Physicians of London in 1992. His international training spans Egypt, the UK and the USA, and he is a recipient of the prestigious Gaskell Gold Medal and Prize, one of psychiatry’s highest honours.
Dr Zamar has particular expertise in adult ADHD, PTSD, anxiety, and adjustment disorders, with extensive experience supporting patients affected by severe trauma, including natural disasters and terrorism. He is widely recognised as an authority on mood disorders, having presented at the World Congress of Psychiatry and published a pioneering model that links genetics and molecular biology to treatment strategies.
At The London Psychiatry Centre, Dr Zamar has introduced cutting-edge therapies to the UK, including rTMS-based protocols for treatment-resistant bipolar and mood disorders, achieving recovery rates above 96%.

Dr Zamar saved my life. I was in despair and now am living a happy life.
My experience with Dr Zamar was terrible. He did not take any of my history and was only trying to convince me of his opinion. I have never had such a terrible experience with a doctor. He also had no idea what forms I had filled and when.
Dr. Zamar is a world-leading expert and pioneer in his field with an international patent for his unique treatment protocol for subthreashold bipolar disorder. Following an upsetting and traumatising event at work, he listened carefully to my situation and, given the circumstances, wrote a letter to by employer's Occupational Health team/doctor as well as to my GP. He also included a relevant scientific journal article. He is kind, patient and understanding. I would not (and could not) get the treatment I need elsewhere in the UK. I feel so lucky to be under his care.
my recent visit was Monday to Wednesday with seven treatments. It all went very well.
Dr Zamar is an incredible DR, he managed to help me even when other medical professionals couldn’t. He truly cares about his patients and doesn’t stop until you remit of all symptoms.
