I previously saw Mr Humphrey over 4 years ago for an unrelated foot problem, and was advised to avoid surgery which has proved to be excellent advice. After recently suffering a ruptured Achilles I saw him again knowing he would not recommend surgery unless he felt it absolutely necessary. He was thorough, examining me and arranging necessary scans and a more suitable boot, as well as making sure I took blood thinners for a further 4 weeks to guard against DVT’s. (Apparently he has written papers on this topic) . He explained the conservative treatment he proposed going forward, with clear timelines and outlined there were further surgical options available later down the line if my Achilles didn’t heal in the optimum way. Mr Humphrey was very approachable and I felt he had my best interests at heart. I would definitely recommend him to anyone experiencing problems with their foot or ankle. My husband was so impressed he decided to see Mr Humphrey himself for a long standing ankle issue.

My care at this clinic has been outstanding and I would recommend it to anyone needing expert psychiatric support for complex trauma. The service is psychiatry-led, with the consultant coordinating treatment plans and supervising input from psychology, occupational therapy, group therapy and trauma modalities including EMDR, DBT, CBT and embodied psychotherapy. This ensured that care was coherent rather than fragmented. I initially attended four in-person sessions per week and have now safely transitioned to monthly. The team have specialist expertise in workplace bullying, institutional power dynamics and identity-related trauma, which is unusual to find. The level of understanding and clinical leadership has made a meaningful difference to my recovery, and I could not recommend the service more highly.

Despite this, after a few moments speaking with Doctor Pirjamali, I felt more calm. Although we discussed some difficult topics such as grief and an eating disorder, he maintained an easy-going, nonjudgemental, professional and informative manner. Our chat was thorough and after the appointment had come to a natural end, I felt relieved knowing that no stone had been left unturned. Doctor Pirjamali came across as kind and extremely knowledgeable in the areas of ADHD and ( although he referred me to speak further to the titration team regarding this) ADHD medication. I I highly recommend him as a Doctor, especially if you are nervous.

Cannot tell you about my visit as my reply to asking for an appointment is we don’t have and appointments and try calling on a Monday Tuesday or Thursday. Absolutely disgusting I’d be happy if given a date in a months time . You know you can never either get through on the phone or online to ge pain and with many other issues t an appointment. Spend a hour on hold to be told there are no appointments so I’m living in absolute pain and many other issues what a waste of time
