Dr. Kenga is the best possible doctor we could have hoped for. If we have any future children (which we’re planning to!), we’ll be going straight back to her. She consistently went above and beyond, from preparatory planning to postnatal care, and made every step feel supported. We live primarily abroad, so navigating the UK system was initially daunting, but she made the entire experience not only smooth but genuinely enjoyable. That’s saying a lot, given this was childbirth! Her credentials already speak for themselves: she’s a Consultant Obstetrician at King’s College Hospital, Labour Ward Lead, Lead Obstetrician for Perinatal Mental Health, and deeply involved in perinatal education and care for women with complex medical conditions. But beyond the impressive titles, the experience - including her responsiveness far exceeded expectations. We had an elective C-section, and the technical skill was exceptional. The scar healed quickly and beautifully. What stood out that I think worthy to note was her attentiveness and empathy in addition to the physical; she took the time to understand our situation holistically. Having gone through a long journey from IVF to local doctors before reaching Dr. Kenga through Central Health, we can say with full confidence that she stands out. We would recommend her without hesitation to anyone in London, or traveling to London, who needs an OBGYN they can trust completely. She also connected us with excellent support networks from paediatrics to hospitals, which made the entire experience seamless from start to finish. We’d highly recommend Dr. Kenga for anyone looking for an OBGYN in London who wants to feel deeply supported throughout their journey (especially those navigating international pregnancies, IVF, elective C-sections, high-risk or complex pregnancies) or simply seeking a doctor who has the rare balance of being balanced in her compassion, highly experienced, skilled, and just excellent across the board.

The Spire Wellesley is a quiet calm hospital. The facilities are always clean and well cared for, the staff attentive and pleasant. You can expect the path of your time with them to be fully and clearly explained and information of who will attend you, when and for what reason. You are prepared as soon as you arrive and surgery follows swiftly, which leaves you very little time to overthink or get anxious. I was never left worried, every member of staff introduced themselves and did whatever was necessary to reassure me and provide whatever was needed. It was all very quick and over before I knew it, for which I am grateful. You certainly will not be left hungry or thirsty, food is excellent, the selection is wide. My stay was relatively short, my surgery went well, my recovery and activity level after surgery good and whilst I could have stayed a 2nd night I was allowed to go home as there were no concerns. So I was on for a little over 24hrs altogether.

I had ICL surgery at the Phoenix Hospital in Chelmsford with Dr. Hove to correct my -7.00 prescription. Dr. Hove recommended this procedure as my prescription was quite high, and the laser eye surgery I initially wanted (with my limited eye knowledge at the time!) wasn’t the best option for me. I’m so glad I trusted his advice because the ICL surgery has truly been life-changing! I could actually see clearly as soon as I got off the operating table, and after a good night’s rest, I woke up with 20/20 vision and felt completely back to normal. The entire procedure was quick, completely painless, and far easier than I ever expected. Dr. Hove and the theatre team were absolutely wonderful, and the nurses at Phoenix Hospital were so kind and reassuring — they really helped me feel calm and comfortable throughout the whole experience. Overall, a 10/10 experience — nothing to worry about and I’m beyond happy with my results. Thank you, Dr. Hove and the team!

I got referred to Mr Jafri while I was in terrible pain with my hip. After having xrays he said he would replace my hip. I honestly couldn't have been looked after any better, the nurses were wonderful. And yes after surgery it was painful but nothing like the pain I had been going through. MrJafri explained everything in layman's terms all the way through. I couldn't thank him enough, he gave me my life back. I went for physio and did my exercises, you only get out of it what you put in, but so worth it. I still do my excercises but I have full mobility and i honestly feel wonderful🥰. Matt is a great listener and devised a personal physio plan for me to help with two MSK problems. The exercises have been really helpful and effective allowing me to return to the lifestyle that I enjoy in a fairly short period of time. Booking an appointment is online but changing and cancellation is easy. There is an assessment consultation and follow up after a suitable period of time. As soon as you are able to "go it alone" Matt will discharge you with an open return. All in all an experience that I can highly recommend for recalcitrant MSK problems.

Such a positive experience at MUMS, I attended for a fetal medicine USS after concerns were seen at a private scan elsewhere. All the staff were professional, knowledgable and attentive. The venue was convenient and easy to find with parking. The fetal medicine consultant was extremely thorough and knowledgable. The whole experience was just so positive. I feel so much more reassured and positive now about my pregnancy. Thank you so much! I wouldn’t hesitate to attend this clinic in the future for any service offered.

I felt at ease with her straight away and she listened to my ongoing problems with anxiety, towards the end of session she recommended a change of medication with a review in 3 weeks time. I had every confidence in her decision and felt relieved that someone was interested in my problem. I can highly recommend Dr Jemma Reid, an amazing experience for me and I’m well pleased with the way I feel today.

Unfortunately there was a problem with the booking systems at reception which meant checking in was delayed due to a queue that had formed. However the staff were very helpful and trying to do all they could to inform patients of the problem. The nursing station seemed very busy and understaffed, there was a delay in urine testing due to this and I waited 30minutes just to be provided with a sample jar and bag.
