Dr Gilmour was amazing cannot fault him at all he was professional and very thourough. The nursing staff were appalling at the Alexandra Hospital i came out of recovery in agony pain level 20/10 i then was last seen by a nurse at 8pm where i asked for pain releif i was given 1 tramadol i take 8 tramadol daily for the chronic pain i am in so i knew one tramadol would do nothing. It got to half past 8 and i was crying because of the pain i was in thats when i was given 2 morphine tablets. That was the last time i saw a nurse until i buzzed again at 1am for more pain releif i then didnt see a nurse until 7.30 am when i buzzed again for pain releif and was given 2 paracetamol which i didnt even entertain the nurse told me to take it and she would get me the morphine tablets i had taken in the night which she did half an hour later i had my blood pressure taken at 7.30am thats the only time i had it taken since 8pm the previous evening no one checked on me all night i asked at 8pm if someone could help me to the toilet and the nurse took the pumps off my legs and threw them on the floor where they were still lying this morning she watched me walk to the loo and when i came out she had gone. I have had many operations over the years and this was the worse care i have ever received you cant even call it care. Mr Gilmour was amazing it was the aftercare that was shocking. I got sent home without a discharge summary from nurse as she got me a wheelchair and said i could leave once it arrived she then rang me when i got home to say she was coming to find me to give me my discharge summary but i had left she watched me get wheeled out of the ward and said that there was nothing else to go through before i left as i had tramadol at home. Considering i have just had major surgery on my womb etc its appalling.

I was recently operated on by Mr. Bhardwaj at the Woodland hospital near Kettering. It was a laparoscopic surgery to remove my gall bladder. I had met Mr Bhardwaj for an appointment earlier this year, due to the presence of gall stones. He immediately put me at ease (I am a very nervous patient when it comes to hospitals and surgery!). He explained his reasons for surgery, and what I should expect as a result. He was patient and understanding, responding to my questions & concerns, and telling me to go home and take my time to make my decision as to whether or not to proceed to surgery. I therefore had the time to make a well informed decision, and could also contact him if I needed further information. On the day of my surgery, Mr Bhardwaj visited me both before and after the operation. This helped enormously and gave me confidence that I would be in good and skilled hands. I was able to return home the same day, which was good. I made a very quick recovery and so many friends and family members were amazed at how quickly I was back up and back to normal! I would thoroughly recommend Mr Bhardwaj, following my very positive experience. He is understanding, patient and very knowledgeable. He is a very skilled and careful surgeon.

I thoroughly recommend. I attended Dr McGrady's clinic to obtain a diagnosis and removal of a small bump on my nose which I thought might be a basal cell carcinoma.. Dr McGrady put me at ease by explaining that it wasn't a form of skin cancer but a sebaceous hyperplasia. He explained how he would remove it. He then thoroughly examined the rest of my face for any other skin issues He found 2 more sebaceous hyperplasia and removed all 3 by using cryotherapy. The procedure was quick,and I am very pleased with the outcome. I highly recommend Dr McGrady and his team. I have attended his clinic before for a similar diagnosis and removal. He has so much knowledge and expertise, is a good communicator and made me feel at ease..

Even if all other ideas fail, she always tries to find another way, not giving up on me. I travel miles to London to see Dr Lafina Diamandis because she is a breath of fresh air, and very worth of my time to see someone like her who is passionate about their job and cares about her patience. I couldn't thank her enough for her help and support. Words can't fully capture it; I'm forever grateful for Dr Lafina's help.

Dr Muirhead and Sam were fantastic from start to finish. I was quite nervous about the procedure but they immediately put me at ease and continued to reassure me throughout. Dr Muirhead was professional, understanding and thorough from the initial consultation through to the end of the procedure, and I know that she will be on the end of the phone if I need any aftercare help or advice. She explained everything clearly and I felt in very good hands.

Mr Petrushkin was very helpful and tested my request for the operation in a open and honest way to make sure that I had taken into account advanatges/disadvantages and was at the right stage to go forward with the operation. I did not feel pressured to undertake the treatment, and he respected the choice I had made without trying to sell alternative lens treatments that I had already discussed with my optician.

I had a very positive experience visiting the menopause doctor. The only criticism relates to payment policy. I was required to pay the full amount for my next appointment six months in advance, which I felt was a little harsh. I completely understand taking a deposit to secure the appointment - perhaps 50% would be more reasonable - but paying in full so far ahead of time does feel quite steep.
