This assessment was one of the worst experiences I have had with a professional. I felt like I wasn’t listened to, the report completed afterwards included information that was incorrect. I.e what medication I was. During the assessment, I was asked ‘what is your goal, is it to get better or is it to take your own life?’ Whilst I understand the concept of the question I felt this was not the most appropriate way of doing so. Dr Kumar was well aware of my suicidal thoughts and my current situation prior to asking. He also asked me why I was having the assessment to which I told him I was referred by my CBT therapist as I told them I had formed a plan to take my life. Dr Kumar responded by saying that most therapists will send them for a re-assessment as it is their license on the line. This made me feel incredibly worthless and that I wasn’t deserving of help. I would never wish anyone to experience the way in which I was spoken to during my assessment and I hope no one has to go through that.

The day of the surgery October 2025 was great. Mr Ridha and nurse Annette are amazing. I have had a few strange experiences at this hospital though including the surgery I had last year. Getting my stitches out this time by another few nurses after the rhinoplasty, I left my appointment feeling so on edge and wasn’t offered aftercare answers to my questions, no mirror to see my new nose. I had to request tape to put on at night as I wasn’t offered it at the time. They were asking me questions that I feel like they should’ve known and making comments to each other whilst I was there about my stitches. I just felt like they had no idea. I understand it was difficult for them and I don’t like to make complaints, but people go for private healthcare for a reason and I’ve experienced enough negative things to feel disappointed.

I had a fantastic experience with Anita during my roughly 2 months of physio as I rehabbed from a partial hamstring tear. Along with being very knowledgeable, Anita is incredibly warm and friendly. She made our sessions light hearted and fun, whilst ensuring I was getting the best care possible. She was extremely attentive to my needs, and did a great job managing my recovery programme. Thanks to her I have been able to return to regular activity much earlier than originally anticipated. I would highly recommend Anita to anyone looking for a friendly, well-trained and professional physiotherapist. You will be in very good hands.

Paul has been a complete lifesaver. I came to him with neck / back pain but only a couple of months to train for a 6 mile charity swim... Within the first session, Paul identified the cause of the problem and had me back in the water that week (with a snorkel!). He was able to relieve the pain and the exercises targeted the issue but were feasible around my day-to-day / other training. His swimming experience was invaluable, and I really don’t think I would have been in a position to complete the big swim without his help, guidance and encouragement! I couldn’t recommend him enough. Thank you Paul!

I came in for hip replacement on Saturday 4th October. I arrived as requested at 7.30am and was 2nd on the list. I was efficiently prepped, my surgeon came to check if I had any questions, confirmed all steps of the procedure and I then signed the consent form. The procedure went well. I was cared for extremely well by ALL staff. I had a catheterisation which I had never had before. It was completely painless and 24 hours later I could pu normally. I cannot praise the department and staff professionalism highly enough - thank you.

Nuffield health Cambridge Hospital was in my case the best place I could have wished for to have my operation. Prior to my op I attended on many occasions for X-rays and scans etc and I was very well looked after and the staff could not have been anymore polite or helpful. On the day of my procedure I was extremely well cared for and I am very thankful to the staff who looked after me. I certainly would like to return to Nuffield Cambridge Hospital in the near future should I need any further treatments.
