We feel so fortunate to have been able to have our daughter delivered at the Portland Hospital. Our room, the food, the care, everything was exceptional. Most of all we are grateful to the incredible midwives, who looked after us with such warmth and patience. We felt so safe in the knowledge that one of these incredible women was there around the clock to look after us and guide us through the early days and hours of our journey into parenthood. The various healthcare professionals (paediatrician, physio, lactation consultant, pharmacist) as well as the registrar who came to see us were all exceptional individuals too and it was incredibly helpful to be seen by all of them during our hospital stay. A special thank you goes to Pat, our amazing midwife, who accompanied us on the day of our birth. We couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful midwife to be with us on this incredible journey.

This is , or should be: a two way experience betweeen the Consultant and the Patient , This morning Mr Daron Smith , ENGAGED in explaining what technical medical info he needed , before he would decide how to deal with the three problem areas . The Loose stones in my bladder , seen in earlier scan (s) at C W S. His need to talk to Consultant Owen Warren , and others already in the C and W loop . The purpose is for absolote clarification . Similarly Mr Smith would discover any facts unclear in the abdominal area . I attempted to give Mr Smith to my best endeavour, my understanding of our discussion . Such a discussion had never taken place with me before ..at C ans W . I agreed the next steps .. the first one being for me to have relevant scans on Thusday 18 the Sept. followed by a second consultation with Mr Smith with me , one to one .

We found TCM on google and the reviews seemed really good. My wife and I had been TTC for many years naturally but also involves some surgical procedures that had a negative impact. The conclusion was a severe hormonal imbalance that was probably a stress and trauma response to a number of things. I saw my doctor. My doctor is amazing. I had blood tests. The process was OK, but not all tests as expected were reported. I collected medicines from the pharmacy. Their records of my needs were lacking and they refused to resolve the issues. I had to return to the hospital another time and they had corrected themselves and I received what was prescribed. The fee charging system from Imperial is haphazard and I receive charges that are not even incurred. There are no explanations or discussion. My medicine is charged a price 35% higher than a comparable cancer hospital not far away. Imperial needs to be more transparent and fair in their charges.

I had hip replacement surgery, my admission and pre surgery checks were done professionally and very courteously. The surgery team made me feel relaxed (I was very nervous) and they treated me with care and respect before, during and after the operation. Overnight, the medical staff checked on me regularly, were very supportive and helped with pain management and looking after my comfort Throughout my stay the service staff were very attentive and looked after me, catering for my needs. Overall, I feel I was looked after as an individual and my needs taken care of.

Dr Farrah's team were amazing from start to finish with helping me to schedule my appointments and with helping me with my insurance company queries. Dr Farrah is wonderful, she listened to me and all the issues and pain I was having due to my osteoarthritis in my hip, made me feel like I wasn't being silly and over reacting with the pain I was in. Mr Ahmed treated me for the removal of a basal cell carcinoma from my lower left eyelid which also affected the outer corner. This required the removal of a significant section of my eyelid and later reconstruction by Mr Ahmed. It was a conducted with great skill resulting in an outcome that I can only describe as superb. Family members were unanimous that the reconstruction was an unqualified success being almost invisible.
