I attended the hospital to have planned eye surgery consisting of cataract removal, lens replacement and full thickness corneal replacement under general anaesthetic. I arrived early and was allocated to a private ensuite room with secure storage. Nurses confirmed all the necessary checks that had been conducted the previois day in pre-assessment. A nurse applied gel to my hand to numb it ready for a cannula and provided surgical stockings. The anaesthetist visited to re-confirm details and provide reassurance. The surgeon visited to review procedure and risks. The nurse accompanied me to the anaesthesia room and looked after my clothes. After fitting the cannula painlessly, after the anaesthetic I knew nothing until awakening in recovery, with a pad over the affected eye. I was taken back to my room feeling fit and well. Nurses checked on me and provided the refreshments I had ordered. The surgeon visited again to confirm the follow up appointment. Medications were made ready, with post operative guidance. My chaperone arrived to take me home. The whole thing was completed on schedule.

I recently attended a Preconception Appointment with Mr. Adam Jakes at the clinic. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm welcome from Gemma at reception and Mashal kindly assisted with my pre-appointment obs. The clinic itself is immaculate, modern, and beautifully presented. During the consultation, Dr Adam took the time to thoroughly review my medical history and discuss plans for baby number two. We spoke in detail about my Type 1 diabetes, its potential impact on a future pregnancy, and strategies to optimise blood sugar control beforehand. The appointment never felt rushed; Dr Adam provided clear guidance and even highlighted the progress I’ve made, which was a reassuring confidence boost. I would highly recommend Dr Adam, especially for anyone managing a medical condition. The experience was seamless, and I received comprehensive follow-up notes within just a couple of days.

I cannot recommend Erin Lahay highly enough. Over the past three months, she has helped me immensely with both shoulder and lower back pain. What sets Erin apart is her holistic approach. Her treatment combined soft tissue massage to relieve pain and a tailored exercise routine designed specifically for my needs. I recently visited following a referral from a different department. I have been trying to find the cause to pain I have been suffering from since jan 2024. Today I had the answers. I can’t tell you how happy I am that it’s nothing serious. Dr G Smotra performed 2 ultrasound scans on me and was so friendly and kind during this that I was instantly put at ease. There were 2 other nurses in the room who were so lovely and asked if I was ok and kept ensuring me that I was doing well. Afterwards DR G Smotra sat down with me and explained all the findings from the scan plus a previous ct scan, she really had time for me which I don’t usually feel within other departments. I do need to return in the future and I hope that I am always under her care. Thank you I am so greatful.

I recently took my 3-year-old to Kidswell when he was feeling unwell, and we had an excellent experience from start to finish. We were able to get a same-day appointment, which was excellent. The reception staff were warm, welcoming, and very helpful. The facilities are clearly designed with kids and their parents in mind—bright, comfortable, and reassuring. The doctor who saw us was efficient, thorough, and great with my son, taking the time to make sure we understood everything. The rooms were spotless and well-organized, which added to the sense of calm during a stressful moment. Overall, a very positive and reassuring experience. Highly recommend this clinic for anyone seeking quality care for their children

I arrived 10 minutes early and found a parking space opposite the main entrance. I reported to reception who directed me the check in where I was booked in and directed to the waiting area. Only a couple of minutes later I was called for my scan, shown where to put my belongings and then directed to the MRI scanning room. Here I was explained thoroughly what would happen and then I went into the scanner for 15-20 minutes. When I came out I was told my results would be sent to my doctor in about 2 weeks and then advised I was free to go home. I have no complaints and don’t think you could improve on the service. Very well done to you all ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bernie.

I can not recommend this clinic enough. My partner SA was one of the last steps of our fertility. When the results came in at first we were confused and full of anxiety (and went into a deep Google black pit) - the consultation with Suzanne gave us the biggest sigh of relief and reassurance we needed with a plan of action to help boost our chances. Don’t rely on the internet to amp your anxiety, book that consultation after your SA to speak to someone who is an expert and can give you the “medical hug” you need.

Despite paying through the nose for a blood test, I'm still waiting weeks later for results (est. results timeline 3-5 days). Also received additional bills for tests that weren't pre-defined as separate costs - some costs are clearly noted upfront, some others arent and this is deceptive and unprofessional. Whilst staff are friendly, waiting times are awful (40mins for a private blood test? Will be recommending all people to avoid until these issues are addressed

From the nurse who took me to theatre taking an interest in my job (and recommending a book - Lem Sissay) To the catering lady (who made sure i was fedcand watered) ,and the ward nurse who went through next steps and made sure I was ok you go home with my wife and daughter. At my last visit he did just that, enabling me to leave the consultation worry free, having been reassured about my blood pressure and heart rhythm. He also made it clear that I could always approach him for reassurance if I had further problems and that a review NHS appointment would be made for me anyway a year on.
