In Feb 2025,I had same day cataract surgery ( in 50 mins) ,with multi focal implants, at Shirley Oaks hospital. Both the surgeon and another colleague advised that there were no fundament problems with the outcome of the surgery. On 19th April Purley Specsavers advised that there was no stability at all with his left eye. After further refractions and other glasses-single lens and multi focal glasses- there was still no improvement in short distance vision and problems in driving at night time. On 20th October, Director of Specsavers, on 2/10/25 , advised that glasses could not improve beyond N8. I appointed Mr Harsum, 29/9/25, as an independent advisor and reports were written on 14/10/25 , 22/10/25 and 8/12/25. The reports concluded: still very significant astigmatism, despite a left Toric lens. Possible outcomes : refractive error, astigmatism, lens exchange or refund of costs. I am meeting Mr Harsum 8/1/26 to agree outcome required on the basis of NHS treatment . Mr Harsum has provided me with confidence that he has been able to potentially propose a lens refund solution and hence a return to 20/20 vision. I am very great full in having located his professional service, in S London.

Mr Awad has been absolutely amazing throughout my mother’s treatment. She’s been seeing him for around 4 months for a lower eyelid growth, which was both invasive and extremely painful. Mr Awad has been so warm, kind and professional at all times and has been so reassuring. My Mum had the growth removed and eyelid reconstruction on the 18th Dec by Mr Awad and the results are truly fabulous. Mum is already mostly pain free and the surgery is so discreet that it’s hardly noticeable. We cannot praise Mr Awad enough and we would also like to say the same for his team in surgery, recovery and clinic. I had pain in my ankle. It had become more painful over the past two years.I had broken my ankle in 1999.have had several operation and the ankle had been fused. What was needed for my treatment was investigated and a clear plan of what was going to take place was explained. The ankle was no longer fused and so Mr Anjum cause of action was to redo the fusion with a bone graft again. All went well and I followed all his instructions. Am just having some physical therapy to strengthen muscle.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying in The Westminster Maternity Suite twice, after delivering my babies. The care, cleanliness, privacy, personal space and food are fantastic. I had really enjoyed staying there for the recovery after giving birth. The views of Big Ben both times were an amazing bonus for the night feeds of my newborn.

Had to visit for two scans. Everyone was lovely and made it as nice as a hospital appointment could possibly be. Parking is extremely scarce, I had to drive due to trains not running. This was communicated with me when appointment was confirmed.
