I went for an independent assessment of my prostate cancer diagnosis with a possible view to private treatment if I did not get chosen for focal therapy on the NHS trial that I hade been offered. Also to help me make my mind up which of the many options offered to me by the NHS A consultation was quickly arranged via Mr Doherty’s p.a. for £250 which my wife and I attended. I was given an excellent appraisal at the meeting followed by a letter that outlined a meeting Mr Doherty had with his peers to discuss my case. The letter confirmed that in their opinion focal therapy was a good option in my particular case having had access to my medical records This in my view was an excellent service for the fee but I was lucky enough to be chosen for this focal treatment under the NHS trial, I would have gone private had not my private medical insurance rejected my claim (that is another story) I am however indebted to Mr Doherty’s help and service which he provided So far the day operation held in Oxford on the 10th Nov 2025 has had very few downsides although I am still awaiting the final result on Jan 13th 2026 and hoping for a positive result from my consultant on this day The treatment was far less intrusive that the other options offered to me for which I count myself very lucky. Under the trial I will be monitored so that the NHS can find out how the longer term prognosis is for focal treatments so they are able to offer this more widely in the NHS. For my selfish sake I hope that it is good news for me and will enable others to benefit from my experience now and in the future. I am aged 74 and look forward to good health for the foreseeable future.🤞

For 6 years I have been suffering with severe abdominal pain, I have been in and out of hospital over this period of time, having seen many doctors & consultants, had multiple scans and tests etc, was put on too many medications to name, nobody picked up what the problem really was, that was until I met Dr Raza, and thank God I did! From the first scan he performed, he diagnosed Endometriosis, this had never been mentioned to me, his diagnosis was stage 3 deep infiltrating endometriosis, Dr Raza has performed robotic surgery to clear the disease, having said one of the worst cases he has ever dealt with. Approaching 4 weeks post op, I have just been to see Dr Raza, and he is over the moon at how incredible my wound has healed, one incision only via the belly button, he was really proud of his work, and absolutely so he should be, to me, he is my hero, he is truly one of the most gentle men I have ever met, along with his nurse Denia, who has been my rock throughout my recovery period. I cannot advocate Dr Raza enough, 6 years of my life totally wasted backwards and forwards in and out of hospital to no avail, until now, thank you Dr Raza and Denia, for making my future look so very much brighter, you are my saviour, and I’m proud to call myself your patient. Thank you for everything and I would not hesitate to come back to you if I need too❤️

O 13 December I attended for a pre-med prior to spinal tap. Very good treatment until advised that the spinal tap cancelled due to my ECG. I was urged to immediately contact my GP or A&E. At Worthing A&E I was advised that due to current medication that I am taking for this issue it would have been OK to continue with the spinal tap and it was suggested that One Hospital refused to continue due to your lack of facility if the op went wrong. The journey to One Hospital, 90 miles each way, the time taken for that journey and the pre med followed by 2 hours in A&E was expensive. Before attending One Hospital I had completed a form at your request which listed the medication that I was taking and the reason. Why was I invited to that pre med? This is the second time that One Hospital have refused to go ahead with an operation that was subsequently completed by NHS without a problem. I now have no confidence in the One Hospital and will not seek further appointments.

An excellent experience over all ; - Making an appointment to see Mr. Kevin Oneill was handled both professionally and warmly by Ruby Bhangu . - The receptionist ( sorry can not remember her name )at the welcome desk On Monday 8th 5.oo pm , was again friendly and professional - My appointment with Mr. ONeill was brilliant , clear discussion's and clear explanations for him which made me feel confident and in good hands , his demeanour was excellent and he talked with me in a way that I fully understood. - After my appointment MR. ONeill personally handed me over to the young lady who brought me to his office and she kindly directed me to one of the assistants who booked my MRI and Xray . Both of these team were again very professional but also made me feel they truly cared . Over all I feel extremely thankful to have such support .

I had a recent admission for a Discectomy under the care of Mr Manoj-Thomas. The entire experience from initial appointment to the actual surgery was just over 6 weeks. During this time I received regular communication to prepare me for my surgery. I was overwhelmed by the high standard of care I received as an in patient from the nursing and medical team. All professionals were courteous calm and maintained my dignity and trust during an anxious time and I am incredibly grateful. My follow up care is continuing and I was very impressed with the phone call I received 2 days post discharge to ensure I was continuing to recover. Very pleasing experience. I was given plenty of time, and had a thorough examination of my ears, with the removal of wax, followed by a full hearing test. I returned a couple of weeks later, and having been shown several different hearing aids, went for ones that fit into the ear, with no wires or pieces behind the ear. I now have them on a months trial to see how I get on with them. I was quoted a price, which I understand I will pay if these are the correct ones for me, but only when I am totally satisfied. There is then a 3 monthly check included in the price. I believe I can try others if these are not right for me, and Mr Clive who I saw, was most helpful and understanding of a lady who hated the idea of wearing hearing aids!

As previously commented, the experience at the clinic was faultless. This is particularly important for those in unfamiliar surroundings. Reception staff were charming, reassuring, happy to help and crisply efficient. I knew my consultant well and was seen on time, after a short while in the comfortable surrounds of the waiting room - excellent coffee! I will attend again in the Spring and feel confident this will be an equally satisfying experience, in the knowledge the expertise of my consultant and the LUS practice, housed at the HCA Clinic, must be amongst the finest available anywhere.

I was very stressed as I needed to complete my stress test for DVLA in time otherwise I would my driving license. I was waiting for an appointment in other hospital for over 6 weeks and got cancelled, hence my wife contacted Dr Khwanda’s secretary.
