About Dr. Praveen Kaudlay
Dr Praveen Kaudlay is a Consultant Haematologist at the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust, specialising in benign and malignant haematology with a particular focus on myeloid and lymphoid malignancies.
He graduated from Bengaluru, India, and completed his medical and haematology training at St James’s University Hospital in Leeds. He has over 15 years of experience in clinical haematology.
Dr Kaudlay is dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care and is actively involved in clinical research as a principal investigator for drug trials. His contributions have been recognised with professional awards, including an accolade from the American Society of Haematology (ASH) and an Outstanding Educator Award from New Cross Hospital.
He is also a long-standing medical writer, contributing health-related articles to mainstream media for nearly three decades.
Dr Kaudlay is committed to medical education and holds an honourary associate professorship with the University of Birmingham. He teaches medical students, internal medicine trainees, and postgraduate haematology trainees, and has served as an examiner for medical and MRCP examinations.
